Sorry, Myr, not working. After clearing cookies and browsing history, GA still signs me off arbitrarily.

@Myr. Thank you!

Sony laptop, Windows 10, Firefox, no ad blocker I unpublished chapter 10 of a story (Summer) in order to fix a typo. Once I was finished I republished the story. The system however decided to also unpublish all chapters after the one I wanted to work on. While i'm at it: 1. There are still no notifications when someone leaves a comment on one of my chapters. 2. The system's still kicking me out on a selective basis and across 3 different platforms (iPad & Android phone) Signing back in all the time's a pain in the neck. 3. Advanced story search does not work when selecting multiple variables. (I was looking for completed Sci-Fi stories) I tried several times but I keep getting the same list full of In Process stories. Suggestions? ETA for fixes?

LOL A thing for Aussies? Well, my current crush is one of you. Been watching Rugby League games lately and Angus Crichton is it. Too bad the guy's like a third my age! Anyway, I finished writing Georgetown chapter 15 yesterday. I'll start the next one as soon as I settle some things in my mind. A few of the chapters have had an initial beta read to make sure continuity and such are okay but there has been no editing done. And since that depends on the editor being available, I think it's going to be a good while until the new book comes to GA. Thanks for your continued support, mate!

Hey, old man! Best wishes for a great day with lots of sales at the fair. I'm done with my inking for the year so it's time for you to pick up the slack. And don't forget CJ's waiting for you. It's only been a month but I have vultures swooping in asking for more.

Dear Troy- My turn to apologize for the delayed rwsponse. I didn't see your comment until last night. Damn software update's still buggy after 4 months and authors don't get notification of comments on stories. Thank you for the unfaltering support and the praise. CJ started out as therapy, something to do at a time I was not in the best of mental health, but has grown into a love affair between the author, the characters, and the readers. Yes, the end of the series is in sight, but there'll be plenty more before we get there. I'm working on chapter 15 of the next book this week and I can't wait until I can share CJ's continuing adventures with all of you. And now you have figured out how to leave comments, I look forward to hearing from you on a regular basis. While we're on hiatus, I post on the discussion thread now and then. Check it out if you get a chance and feel free to join in if you feel inclined. Carlos

@Daddydavek That emoji REALLY represents how I feel right now. The song is awesome and the video brought back some great history to mind. Thanks, Dave.

Lucky you. Im kicked out constantly across all platforms and devices. Windows laptop, Apple tablet, Android phone. Extremely annoying.

I do, pup. Hanging from a nail on a wall full of memorabilia.

Please feel free to use the race card around me. I think by now you know how I feel about race relations. Not all of CJ's opinons are mine but the ones where he has one best friend who's black, a cousin dating a black woman and some others coming in the next book tells you where I stand. Those views I share. I do tend to wave the flag a lot. My patriotism is in large part due to being an iinmigrant. My family arrived in Miami from Cuba on January 26, 1967. I was 8, my brother was 6 and my dad had $10.00 in his pocket. Many years later I found out my mother's jewelry was taken from her by Cuban authorities before we left. She was even subjected to a cavity search at the airport to ensure she wasn't smuggling anything in her vagina. So I'll be forever grateful this country allowed us to come here, make a life for ourelves and become succesful. My two brothers (one was born in the US) and I all went to college and have prospered. Not too many other countries would have taken us in. The US is far from perfect. We seem to take two steps forward and one back. But I have faith. I've seen enough change to give me hope. Hope that with time, we'll get closer still to that 'more perfect union' mentioned in the preamble to the constitution. Happy Fourth of July to you, RJ!

Have a good one and stay safe. You can ask your boy about CJ, he's quite an outspoken kid.

Morning, Officer... I'm innocent! Of whatever it is I'm accused of! LOL I refuse to get into any long, drawn-out political discussions around here but now and then I feel the need to make a comment. In order not to brake the rules I limit them to my blog and to the discussion thread for my story. Since the main character is actively involved in politics, all discussions there revolve around CJ's actions and opinions, never my own.

I graduated from high school in 1976, the Bicentennial Class. I still have the red, white, and blue tassel worn by the top 50 graduates. It was changed from the traditional gold one for that year. we had one with school colors hanging down one side and the patriotic one down the other one. A couple of years ago I posted the Declaration of Independence and was slapped down because it was deemed political by GA mods. This year I decided the 1st amendement was the way to go since the press keeps getting hammered. Here's your CJ connection: The constitution went into effect in 1789 and that's the same year Georgetown University was founded. 1789 is also the name of the restaurant at the corner of Prospect and 36th Streets which is directly across CJ's home.

First Amendement to the U. S. Constitution: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Thanks for liking and commenting, bud! Oshkosh was part of the plan from the beginning, I thought it would be a cool name for someone from that town. I mean, if people name their kids Berlin and Brooklyn, why not Oshkosh? Some names I can't remember why I used. Others had a purpose behind them. There's a whole batch of kids being born in the near future and I think the names I've already picked will be interesting. You'll have to wait for them though, they don't start showing up until halfway through the next book.

Thank you, Butch! I'm so glad you've enjoyed it so far and I promise I'll try my best to make the next installment in the story even better. I have to live up to your praise. BTW, Welcome to GA!

The company was founded in Oshkosh, Wisconsin in the late 1800s and Harley was made in the same city a little over a hundred years later.

Thank you! Think of this as a vacation. CJ and the rest of the cast will be back and then we'll get to catch up on what they did last summer!

I've made a contribution to Folk Arts-Cultural Treasures Charter School in honor of Matt. Anyone else want to pitch in?

Dude, you rock.

I'm sharing this with my buddy and his boy. I think they'll enjoy it. You and John take good care of tim, you hear me?

I need happy endings ALL the time. LOL I'll take what we can get, though. I did find it interesting both his boss and the therapist dealt with other gay NFL players. The fight/drive won't be over until those men feel free to come out.
