Hmmm, so I was looking at this discussion of eating lunch and losing your own car keys So, I have these questions on how you got a driver's license? You probably only filled out half of the test, telling the DMV, that you will finish it up on the next visit (cliffhanger) With spectacles the size and thickness you are wearing, I doubt you could see 2 inches in front of you. Maybe the reason you don't see a cliffhanger when you write it.

So goodbye to September and onto October. Can you believe that Canadian Thanksgiving is a week from Monday See, we have our harvest done before a lot of our southern neighbours. The holiday is about the same, rooted in early settlers giving thanks to not only the Native Americans they encountered at the beginning, but everything that happened in the previous year. Hopefully topped off with a bountiful harvest to carry through the winter. We have turkey, tons of veggies, mashed potatoes, gravy, and all the fixings. I love my cranberries! The only difference is we don't have a Black Tuesday after our Thanksgiving . A bit too early for Christmas shopping. But pumpkin spice season starts here early and goes late Now that takes care of the US And Canada, what about the rest of the world? Hello Folks! How are you all doing on this Sunday? I think it is Sunday everywhere but soon to be Monday in Australia and New Zealand. We do have quite a few members here that are from those two countries and I imagine others that are others just over the international date line too. So that gets me thinking and that isn't a good thing. I remember this idea was first brought up to me in a Superman movie when I was a kid. What if you could fly faster than the speed of light, and you flew West to East, could you travel back in time? I imagine it would still be the same day in reality no matter what day you left and arrived on. But that question and others brought up in the movies, sometimes bring up mind teasing questions? Anyone want to take on the flux capacitor in the DeLorean in Back To The Future? So what movie gave you an idea that made you hesitate and being to wonder, could that work? So what is up in your neck of the woods? I mean weather related. I know that there is hurricane after hurricane battering the SE US, I know the West of the US is on fire, we have smoke and breathing advisories up here in Canadia 😮 I know it has been a early fall for some areas. Hello Fellow GAers, or can it be GAyers? It is funny how some cities' residents names are made. For example I live in Calgary, we are Calgarians. When I lived in Lethbridge for 10 years, I said we were Lethbians . Needless to say my fellow Lethbians didn't find it as humourous. Jeez, its a joke The province next to me, Saskatchewan, their peoples call themselves Saskatchewanites. And then the city of Moose Jaw in that province call themselves Moose Javians. I’m sill not think Ali is being who he is portraying he is First, he goes by Ali because is pisses off hid dad so much. Wouldn’t that be enough without the ruse of telling Jamie his name is Cameron. And don’t forget this when James fell off his bike with the biking group. Especially when James introduced himself as James when he met Ali in the bar and didn’t know who Ali was. So, if you all think Ali just needs to explain, I think he has had 6-8 years already and 4 or five days since he seduced him back to James’ place for sex. I must admit I have been tardy I went to read this chapter and then saw I missed one, as it came out while I was on holidays. Then I looked back and noticed I missed the previous one too!. Considering I consider myself a fanboy of Dodger and his writing I feel shame . But the good news for me was I got 3 chapters in one sitting So first off, I will admit that I was a bit surprised with Don and his revelation about 'those' people. Although not right, I still think there is some who agree with Don's homophobia. What I don't think is many of his clients would be interested in dealing with him or his business if it ever got out about his opinions of 'non Canadian girls'. Although I would like Robbie and others to reveal this to others, I also understand the reluctance to tell Daniel. I mean the guy is probably walking around with a perpetual boner and that news would be worse than a cold shower and images of your naked grandma I will admit that I have never thrown Sue out with the bath water, as many have done. Although her actions at time were unspeakable, there was always something that told me she was better than that. And her standing up for Robbie and calling Don out for his racist attitude is just another item in the pro list. I think if we all went back, and did a pro and con list, Sue would actually have overwhelming pros over the cons. Also, we have to remember, when Sue did the horrific things we never had any idea of what she was thinking? What pressures was she facing, what threats she may have been dealing with? We never heard her thoughts or ideas or such as the story is only told from Robbie's POV. As a peace keeper sometimes people will do pretty much anything to keep things peaceful. Just now I think she has drawn her line in the sand, and Don is way over it lately. I don't believe he will have any support from anyone in the family with his banning Daniel and probably Robbie from seeing or being friends with Nathan. Actually I think Sue will encourage it after the motherly affections she showed in the hospital room towards Nathan. So the Alex and Luke thing was kind of quick and unmentionable. I do have a feeling that Alex is going to come back and both Robbie and Nathan are not going to be too impressed with what he will do and reveal. I am still going to remain saying that Robbie is not a good fit with Conner, or Nathan. Too much was wrong with Nathan and Robbie and other than the sex there wasn't too much more between them. Ironically that appears to be the same with Conner . I am curious about Ginny in this all too! For some reason even though Sue is pretty sure she is feeding Nathan the drugs, I will agree with Robbie on this that she is innocent. Ginny is an severe introvert, how long did it take here to actually talk and not just glare at Robbie. I just don't see her being a good dealer or user who'd have to interact with a dealer. I may be proven wrong, but I"m betting it is a case of her looks and attitude being used against her in a bad way. Well Mr. Dodger, I know you usually publish a chapter every couple of weeks, but I must implore you to give us a 'bonus' chapter this coming weekend. Think of it as a back to skewl present I seriously can't wait to find out if Robbie is going to be the latest statistic for being a teenage dad. Beside, since Nicola has turned into the world's biggest .....brat on the earth (I know you sister reads this ), it needs to be revealed to her too. Robbie and her have been getting along so well lately I don't want to see them as adversaries again . I like the one two punch of them together against Don. I will finish off with Robbie's impending visit with Nathan and his sister and mom's hints that he should help Nathan out with some things that most people can't help out with. On the other hand, I am proud of Robbie for thinking about how much of a lout he would be breaking up with Conner before promising to help with the barn rebuilding and Valentines on Tuesday. Hold out Robbie, don't add cheater to your list of unfortunate mistakes. As always Dodger, thank you for sharing your craft with us all .

It is Monday in most of the world, and what better way to start off the week of blogs than with another great one from the Review Team, this one from Timothy M. The Paladin David McLeod Reviewer: Timothy M. Status: Complete Word Count: 52,005 Some authors on GA create their own settings, either by mixing magic into our universe or by creating separate worlds. David McLeod does both, although most of his fantasy genre stories takes place in another universe which occasionally interacts with ours. The Paladin is one such story, which starts out in our world until the main characters are flung into another place with different rules of everyday life. I like the concept of a continuous struggle between good and evil, and how love / sex between males can be a source of magic. I often return to this group of favorite stories, many of which are intertwined with each other, and The Paladin together with Book of Heroes is a good place to start. There are humans, elves and dwarves. There are friendship and hardship, long travels and intimate interludes (but most of the sex takes place ‘off screen’), heroism and kindness in small acts. Some aspects of the stories are fairly unusual and may take a little while to get used to, e.g. the longevity of people, the long youth phase of boys, and reincarnation. But to me the real draw of McLeod’s world is the importance of honesty, trust, knowledge, and the willingness to respect and help others. There is a strict code of honor and only evil people destroy nature or seek to accumulate possessions. I guess it can be called escapism and feel-good fantasy, but sometimes we need that, right? Oops I actually forgot that I'm back from holidays, well camping, and I told the gracious Renee I would do the wrap up. Well last night, a barley pop or two, I was watching TV and then crawled into bed. I totally forgot that last night was Saturday night I referred to Renee as gracious, as she was kind enough to do the wrap up for me the past couple of weeks. So let's all give a shout out to her for stepping in!! As mentioned, I was camping the past week and a bit. Had a great time in the Rockies with my 3 nephews ages 13, 11 and 8. So, is it hot where you live? I've heard from my Eastern American and Canadian friends that the temperatures and humidity has been nearly unbearable. Then heard on the news that Death Valley, California hit 53.3°C/128°F I guess I'm enjoying days around 25°C/77°F, but most evenings we have thunder storms rolling in. My city did have the 4th largest natural disaster in Canadian history in cost of damages due to hail a couple of weeks ago. I'm curious though, how is your summer going? Are you hiding out in your air conditioned home, naked as the day you were born? Or are you at a beach socially distanced and taking in the sun and the water. Hopefully not naked as the day your were born Now I don't want to forget our Southern Hemisphere friends. Let's hear from you if your are freezing your walnuts off .
