Bravo, Mike! As with your other tales you have taken me on a roller coaster of emotions with your characters that grow on all of us. From the last line quips that have me snickering until the next chapter to the anger at Dressner’s actions to the tears forming at the thought of losing Justin, your craft of storytelling is amazing. i too look forward to the next tale to post here at GA

I was surprised with the caution not to tell Henry, as he has already raised his suspicion that Gavin was either Elijah or Enoch. Maybe when Henry gets around to telling Phil about Gavin as he promised along with Jed, then it might be good for Phil to reveal about Enoch. Im glad Terry is okay, but what about Justy who sounds like he was triaged out of there on deaths door.
-
Does anyone think Dressner is dead? A chance shot from that distance between him and Terry? What if it was the Albanian? I still think Dressner has his reckoning coming before Elijah and Enoch. Poor Justy
-
I’m not going to like the next chapter, am I?
-
So the reference to Jed in this chapter and the very unusual meeting of Phil and Elijah the previous, makes me wonder about Henry’s warning about the thrill, and the consequences of an Adventure. Really, isn’t that what Phil and Henry are on?

So shall we start with a weather update Today was the first day this week where it didn't snow. And it was cold 🥶 I'm thinking my Australian and Southern Hemisphere friends need to have a visitor Anyone has a couch I can borrow for a month or two? Well that was a surprise!
-
I’m glad Dressner is now taken care of. But Terry’s comment of letting the professionals take over makes me think Phil and Benny aren’t done with him yet
-
So I was wrong, it wasn’t France 😛 It seems a bit concerning to hear more of the dark side of Rothenia. I always picture it as such a magnificent country but with the likes of Willemin and some other scuzzy people. To find that drugs and gangs are taking over in certain area as is not good for that image. Hope between Pete, Henry, Terry, Justy, Phil and Ben they can help clean the country up a bit.
-
I wonder, didn’t Terry say France was his most favorite place? Gawd, I can’t remember , Gus and .... , Terry sent off to France Bad Steve, bad i like how Matt assured Phil he was now part of the group, and the group has the muscle of Terry and Justin working together. Should be even more interesting as the layers of the Clive Dressner onion are peeled back.
-
Wow. Really, a double cliffhanger in one chapter. *goes to see if the next chapter is available* After what happened to Phil and the way Clive seemed to know so much about Phil, and Clive’s employ of seeder types, I’m wondering if there was no intention of rape, but even more nefarious reasons to Ben. With what just happened at work with Ben, I don’t foresee his former employers having a hope in hell of continuing a cash cow relationship with Dressner, as I’m hoping the latter is in jail soon enough. Or meets the angry acquaintances of Terry and Justy.
-
I would like to be a student with Phil as my lecturer the next morning, to see what kind of shape he is in 😛
-
I was worried about Phil at. the end of the previous chapter with the crash. Luckily he got down for the meeting and Ben had the wherewithal to check his mobile before taking off. Would have made a short chapter and a short story too Too bad Alistair didn’t answer the door wearing some of Phil’s clothes 😛 Things may have been less civilized I imagine. BTW, I live on a Close
-
I too wonder IF Dave has always had a thing for Ben. Though to use his own words, Ben is sitting at the table with Dave and not on the internet and Ben doesn’t care for his frankness or the blunt take on the truth. I concur with you both, Phil needs to clear up his messes with Karen and Jerry before he adds Ben to that mix.
-
Last chapter I felt for Benny at the end, this chapter I feel for Phil at the end. Although the predatory author Clive was not a good scene for Phil either. I think Ben and Phil need to find each other’s but I think Ben will be a gentleman and expect Phil to take care of his marriage first. It is the honourable thing to do. Are my hopes too high 😛
-
I feel for Benny, and I think he is finding out he has more friends than he gave himself credit for in chapter one. Now Phil sounds like he might be interesting, but married

Chapter 130 Happy Holidays
wildone commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 130 Happy Holidays
Oops **Open Mouth** **Insert Foot in Mouth** I will apologize, Dodger. I should have thought longer on the whole dodger/todger thing. I got it in my mind and started giggling like a school gurl and just wrote it down Now I could say there was no intention of calling you a dick, but I did compare you to one, but know that in my heart, I was lovingly and affectionately referring to you and what I imagine is a a spectacular dick at the time Tom's too! No hard feelings I hope (damn, I got to stop talking here). -
You know what, I don’t drink warm drinks. I think the closet I’ve come to liking anything warm is Lipton Cup of Soup. But that was in my teens. I think I’m so hot, I need cold drinks to keep me hydrated

Chapter 130 Happy Holidays
wildone commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 130 Happy Holidays
Well I know I was hard on Robbie last chapter From an adults point of view, it looked like he was making immature decisions that were burying the chance of help from the people that love him and want him around. Then, between chapters Robbie has matured and is back on what I call a even keel. The fact that Jo called him out on the unprotected sex and calling his bullshit on the Viagra excuse was much needed. To bring up the Connor cheating on him and thus him cheating on Connor, even though he didn't admit out loud of the Nathan Spank Bank material on his computer, he is continuing on accepting his responsibility of his actions. Much more mature. I wonder too, about the surprised Christmas gift for Connor that neither will know. I agree with Rory that he is being a dick, well at least a playful dick The visit to Jamie brings warmth to my heart. I think Robbie needed a good uplifting moment to enter the Christmas season and be in the spirit. Although I think it is a pipe dream to take Jamie, his mom, Nicola to England for a soccer game, he is in the mood and even though Sue said no, he knew when to stop his pushing when he he reached that line. Also, his interactions with Stephanie were cordial and nice. Good to see the back of Nicola's eyeballs when the popped out when Stephanie suggested she go with Robbie So now there is Tom, dear Tom. I'm not sure what is going to happen there. I want Robbie to be happy in love, I think that is going to be with Connor or Tom, definitely not with Nathan or Alex. BTW I think the brief flashing of his dodger was not Robbie cheating on Connor. Did I use the word dodger correct, Dodger? Really, Don and the shyte he has caused was a minor mentioning in this chapter and I think that made not only Robbie happy, but me too! Thanks for sharing Dodger. We all appreciate every chapter of this journey that Robbie is on. -
Anyone who doesn't celebrate the Christmas season, unfortunately is going have tolerate us that do for the next 3 weeks 🎅 We had our department Christmas Party at work yesterday and there was about 30 of us all out for a late lunch and a Secret Santa draw. Everyone had a person they were supposed to buy for with a $20 limit. Our department is maybe 60/40 female to male, but it was great to see that everyone put in an effort to get something that reflected the person that they bought for. Big, small, even strangely wrapped presents for all. That was until an envelope was placed in front of me. Opening it, I found a $20 gift card for a coffee shop. So, my secret Santa stopped to get his morning coffee and bought a gift card too. Nice you say I had to laugh my ass off. I don't like coffee, I don't like tea, I don't like hot chocolate I'm guessing it was a man, because really, would a person of the superior sex do that? I'm grateful I got a present, but I have donated to a charity family we are sponsoring as I'm sure it will be used and enjoyed. So before I get stoned for my opinion of coffee, tea, and hot chocolate, let me get to the wrap up (Diet Coke with Lime for the win) Monday, Cia came to share with us a new CSR Feature for the month of December. Tuesday, we had a big announcement. I know a lot of people have watched this person grow and participate a lot on our site. They were prompted to Signature. Then, said person who put out a plea to everyone and took the life saving measure of preforming mouth to mouth to AAA, revived it for another month, or two. Finally on Thursday, we had our 2nd release of the Fall Anthology. This week we were soooooo close to having a blue Friday. I really need to step up on my personal reviewing to contribute to all the great work everyone is doing! Like in Independence Day....Hello Boys! I'm baaaaaaaack Well, also you gurls, actually everyone! Thank you Renee for taking my place last week So I'm dried out from last weekend, which is a good thing! Last weekend I was at a football game, outdoors and it was hovering around 0C or 32F. Quite pleasant football weather (oh, North American Football I should say). Now this weekend, -30C or -22F, and I'm not enjoying this weather 😠 I'm thinking of all of you in Florida, or Australia or elsewhere sunny and tropical (not LA this weekend 🥶). So without any further chit chat, lets get to the wrap up so I can crawl back into my warm bed, fire up the iPad and get down to some serious reading! Monday it was time to have our CSR Discussion Day for the month of November: Onto Wednesday and we had the reveal of the mystery person in the Author Guess Who: Thursday my Christmas wish came true when Myr sneaked in and let us know about the new Reading History. I've been asking for this for decades! Okay, that may be a bit of a lie . But I know a lot have been asking for this and now it is a reality Then there was the really, really, really big news, something to get excited about here at GA! The first round of stories were released for the Fall Anthology. With all the great stories posted and updated this past week, this surely meant that we must have done gooder on our goals We were so close to having a Blue Friday on Black Friday: Anthologies Author Anthology Questionnaire - Click here to participate Anthology 101 - New in the Anthology Forum. Happy Birthday Dodger : I see we went from 2017 to 2019, so you know what that means..... You have only aged one year at GA Hope you have a great day!

Oops, maybe I gave the wrong impression i think I will be back after next week 😛 Renee is doing the wrap up next week since I’ll be partying it up at the Grey Cup. Unless you are politely thanking me in the hopes of getting rid of me 😛 Either way, thanks!

Not really much of a preamble out of me tonight. I will give everyone a heads up that Renee will be returning next week to do the Weekly Wrap up for me, as I know for a fact that I will be indisposed one week from tonight 🍻 🍹 🍷 So be gentle to with her, and especially you, @Valkyrie, if you have nothing nice to say, then don't say it at all. That should apply to you regarding me but for some reason I know it will be a freezing cold day in hell when that happens On Monday, Cia popped in with a Featured Story: Then Tuesday, Renee came by with what is turning into a popular blog, Author Guess Who: On Thursday, Myr was bringing us all the 2nd of the 3 installments of a past Anthology : Also on Thursday, Myr told us about the Story Archive update and a really neat new feature: On Friday, Wayne was by with some new prompts for you to run away with: Now for our weekly check in on how we did on our goals last week.
