    Today is basement day! The guys are here and working on installing the new I beams. So by the end of the day, I should have a structurally sound, waterproof basement And just in time, since there's a chance of heavy rain today. My mom is coming over later and we'll do some more reorganizing/sorting through stuff. I'm tired already

    It's really gross out here. It was 85 at 8:00 with a dewpoint of 70 and almost 100% humidity when I went out grocery shopping. I passed more than one person going into the store dressed in sweatpants, a t-shirt, and long-sleeved sweatshirt. O.o I about got heatstroke just looking at them.

    Tamas laughed, then stopped abruptly as Volgeleth appeared in a cloud of smoke, along with the tail-less, irate demon king. "Valerian is mine. You can eat the human," the king stated. Volgeleth drooled. "With pleasure." Tamas raised the Orb in defense. The king gestured nonchalantly, and Tamas jumped backward when the Orb shattered. Volgeleth and the king pounced on their respective prey simultaneously. Tamas tasted as good as Volgeleth thought he would. THE END!!!!

    Volgeleth hissed, then devoured Valerian in one giant bite. He burped loudly, then turned toward the pale and trembling Tamas. The end.

    We were able to distinguish seven layers of wallpaper. Thankfully they hadn't painted over it! Most of the walls are plaster, but one small section was drywall and had to be replaced. I will NEVER ever use wallpaper after going through that nightmare. For some reason, the dining room was the worst. The kitchen, bathroom, and upstairs hallway didn't have nearly as much to remove and was a much easier job.

    The house is lovely Seeing those walls reminds me of the hell I went through stripping the multiple layers of wallpaper off my dining room walls. My house was built in the early '50s and I don't think they ever removed any of the previous wallpaper
