    Story

Trust you to find a SATW comic about it. And thanks again for supporting this story.
  2. Getting out of your comfort zone occasionally is a good thing.
  3. I love this theme. What a great selection of stories. They will be added to the ever-growing list

    Chapter 25 Peace

I think this is one of your best poems, Gary. I was with you for every step of your walk. You nailed the change in seasons and the fickleness of Mother Nature. Well done.

    Chapter 18

O.o I hope Kohen mentions what he overheard to Lakshou or Captain. I have a feeling the trip to the planet is going to be very interesting...
  6. Valkyrie

    Chapter 17

"I just stopped a minor splat from happening."
  7. Valkyrie

    Chapter 24

    Will do

    Chapter 24

I have three more chapters written and beta read. My editor is having computer issues, which is delaying Chapter 25 being posted. We'll see what the repercussions of the trip are. Thanks for commenting
  9. Um... last I checked we were in February, not November... Guess you're too busy trying to steal my shiny in Last Post Wins @wildone And you featured last week's blog from Comicality

    Chapter 23

I'm glad you liked Alannah's perspective. Galen has a long road ahead of him, but he's on the right path. Thanks again for reading

    Chapter 22

The healing power of animals is an amazing thing. I tend to go to the opposite extreme when I'm depressed or experience a traumatic event. I hope the nutritionist helped. Thanks for reading and commenting.

    Chapter 22

Sorry I never replied to this. I never the comment until now Thanks so much for reading and leaving a comment. You'll get an answer about Ethan in a later chapter.
  13. "A Healing Heart" by lilansui is very good.
  14. Participating in the anthologies is a great way to get your name out there and gain readers an author might not otherwise have. There's plenty of time before the deadline for the Spring 2018 anthologies. It's not too early to send stories in for proofreading, as some authors have already done.

    Chapter 21

    They definitely do.
  16. It's beautiful Happy Valentine's Day, my friend.
  17. You should be good if you are using someone from the area as a beta reader. My story "The Hollow Hills" is set in Vermont, and I've been there a handful of times, but not enough to be intimately familiar with the area. I had someone who knows Vermont well contact me and ask me some specifics, and from there he became a second beta reader for portions of the story involving areas I'm not familiar with.
  18. I don't mind stories set in my hometown as long as they are done well. I've read several stories on site that are set in New York State, some of them in areas I am quite familiar with. It's very clear who knows the areas and who is simply using place names or the Internet to rely on information.
  19. I remember this story clearly. I was riveted from the beginning to the end. It's masterfully done and an amazing accomplishment in so few words. It's well worth checking out.
  20. Same here.
  21. Wow... that was intense! I think Otis cared more than he let on. He took a huge risk in freeing Missy and Boy. I hope they made it and found a better life.

    Pyeongchang 2018

Riveting and lovely. Very well done, Dodger.
  23. I was waiting for the punchline and you didn't disappoint. I've eaten cheesecake that produces that response...
  24. I have tears in my eyes after reading this. This is heartbreaking and, I fear, reality for far more than we'd like. I had a feeling that Jamie would be the new pastor. My heart breaks for both of them.
