There are only three more days left in April, although around here it feels more like December. The buds on the trees were sporting a nice winter coat of snow today instead of leaves and pretty spring flowers. I'm wondering if this will be one of the rare times we get a May show shower The end of April also means the end of National Poetry Month. I've been looking forward to reading this interview, and Aaron didn't disappoint! I read this story and enjoyed it. I'm looking forward to seeing how the future ideas pan out. I love the ideas of the story based on inanimate objects. The mail-order mix-up sounds like it will be entertaining.

A great week of poems! I like them all for varying reasons, but particularly liked the rhythm and meter of April 22nd. I also enjoyed the birdsong, and you nailed the feelings with the last one. I'm going to guess the student poem is #20.

Another amazing week. Yes, writing poetry is much better than doomscrolling. I can't pick a favorite, but I loved the descriptions of the months and the one of the old age prompt. I think we all do. I'm always in awe of Parker's ability to use form and meter.
