And it's not just you A thousand times this! I always say the character is doing the action, not starting it. IMO the only acceptable use of 'starting' an action is if it's interrupted or stopped. Then the word "start" actually serves a purpose vs being a filler word.

Thank you so much! Taylor first appeared in my Premium story Deal or No Deal which explores Lucas' story. I liked them so much, I decided they needed their own story. I really enjoyed writing about them and the challenges they faced. It helped me understand non-binary/gender neutral a little bit more. Thank you for reading and leaving such thoughtful comments

Thank you so much I have so many ideas swirling around in my head. I just need the ability and time to sit down and focus on writing. I have attention issues, which makes it very difficult to do sometimes. I'm definitely not done with The Hollow Hills universe though. It's just a matter of when I'm able to do it.

Agreed on all counts. It would be interesting to explore how he deals with it all and how it affects his personal life. But going there would be extremely difficult. I also have a few other projects on the horizon, so this one is pretty far down the list anyway.

Sam's grief over Alex's death was hard to write. This is one of those stories where the characters 'spoke' to me, and at first I didn't want to listen and wanted to keep Alex alive. But that wasn't how it was meant to be, sadly. Sam has a great support system, like you said, which certainly helps.

Thank you! Yes! The two men were Galen and Josh. I'll write more about my inspiration for this story later, but you get the gold star for catching the cross-over I've toyed with the idea of writing a story based on Daniel and his practice, but I'm not sure I can handle it emotionally.
