  1. I haven't had my hair cut in well over a year now. It's the longest it's been in ages. I can actually put it in a ponytail We won't talk about the gray...

    Chapter 28

I love coffee, but I like it with flavored creamer in it. Cyn should be able to find some good breakfast options. I could eat breakfast food for all three meals every day
  3. I'll be thinking of you and hoping for good news.
  4. Yeah, I'm around. I've just been quiet, like you said. There's not too much to report... I'm still furloughed I'm trying to find the mental wherewithal to do some writing. Some good news is that I had my semi-annual checkup and my doc was thrilled with how good everything looks. She even questioned my diabetes diagnosis 🌟 She's really impressed that I've been able to manage it so well through diet alone. I lost about 10 pounds too. Other than that, there's not much going on.
  5. I like these. The rainbow 'like' is really cool
  6. I like them this size, but I'm having trouble discerning them in the smaller size when I click to react to a post. My eyesight isn't the best I appreciate the experiment, though And I like the change from "I read it".
  7. I've heard great things about this series. I've enjoyed everything I've read by Cia, even though I haven't read this series yet.
  8. I look forward to reading this and to the interview

    Chapter 6 The Rest

You ended the month on a real high note. I love the senses invoked in 'patience'. The errata prompt made me giggle. The last one brings me with her on the broomstick. Until next year, my friend

Thanks It was actually a pretty smart thing she did... there was no question about who was being left what. Shortly after that initial conversation, instead of giving out birthday gifts to my mom and aunt, she had them pick one thing out of her house that they'd like to keep. I want to say it was about 20 years they did that... I'm not sure exactly how long. It's funny what things held meaning that I wouldn't have thought twice about. After she passed and we were clearing out the estate, there wasn't much I wanted to keep, but I saw a pineapple shaped tea cup and immediately had to have it. It was kept in the china hutch in the kitchen and I walked by it every time I went into the living room. For some reason, it just spoke to me.

  20. A wonderful end to the month! I'm always right there with you, picturing the nature imagery. You made me laugh with the cooking poem and the errata I also giggled at the phone poem. #28 is particularly lovely. Thank you for participating in NaPoWriMo again. You make the month more fun

Your swimming lesson is a lovely memory, and now I want gelato! I love the reuse of the beloved coffee pot. I think we can all relate to the curse/blessing of unexpected guests. I like the personification of the drunk moon. Love the April poem! The reader poem is perfect. The letter makes us question our words. Great week! Only a few more days...
  23. Great interview! Unfortunately, I didn't read the story... I tend to forget about the CSR stories unless I'm reminded about them. It sounds interesting though, so I'll add it to my ever-growing list.
