  1. Oh sure, you're one to talk Sharon. Let's see...who was it that braved the cold outside to partake of the Buddha/Dk oral fixation routine? Although I must admit that buddha's package was making a nice appearance. Oh, and LB, my friend, moderation is the key to the game.
  2. The only reasons why David and I were on our fairly good behavior were: 1. Lack of alcohol intake 2. The only Joe there was an opinionated heterosexual married to a very beautiful member of this board. Luckily for everyone, Joe and I did not repeat our extended political discussion from the night before. Trebs had been waiting for six years to meet this particular board member in person, and her husband and I seemed to monopolize the conversation. 3. Rknapp looks very nice in person, and is very tall. I think LittleBuddha was intimidated a bit... As for the amethyst jewelry...there's a reason why Trebs and I are always so poor.
  3. No reason to get drunk unless Joe's going to show up and play c*** tease again.
  4. I've watched them from time to time. NOt bad, really good graphics in the space fights...and Peter & Freeman...man Freeman's got a nice ass and a killer smile.
  5. Dom, I've been in similar spots over the years and when I remembered an important point, things seemed to go better. Don't worry about the expectations of others so much, and focus on yourself and your needs. Often times I remind people that you can't help others before you help yourself first. In writing there is a similar principle. You have to write for yourself first before you can write for others. Do what fits for you, and the rest will flow along in its own time. You're not the same person you were when you started those stories, and so there will be some disconnect. Reading through the previous chapters is a good way to reconnect, and you might not end up taking the story in the exact same direction originally intended, but it will move forward.

    Breaking silence...

I will be posting updated today on the results of my surgery in my blog on this website. Thank you Dan
  7. As a guy who is still paying off his student loans, all I gotta say is every penny you waste from your student loan is going to be a penny you cry over when you're paying hundreds of dollars every month for years and years as soon as you finish college. Student loans make college affordable for many, but if you're wasting it like you say you are, you are going to be in a very painful situation here in a few years. If you are lucky enough to get a job out of college, how much are you going to make? How much will you pay for rent, utilities, food, health insurance, etc.? Now add another $300 per month (more or less depending on how many loans you took out) in paying back the student loan. If you don't pay the student loan, it will go into default and you will end up not being able to get credit cards, much less a home or a car. Then you'll spend a year i debt rehabilitation, paying through the nose at atrocious rates, and after that year, you will have to start making loan repayments at a higher rate than you would be if you had made all your payments from the start. Don't have a job after college and don't have enough money to pay the loan payments? Too bad you'll go into default and when you get a job, they'll start garneshing your wages. Oh yeah, got a job but your loan is in default? Just wait until you file your taxes. If you get a refund, the refund will be siezed by the Federal government and used to pay towards your loan, but most likely it will be eaten up by late payment fees and extra interest instead of going to the cost of your loan. Use the student loan money wisely, or you'll spend anywhere from five to twenty years regretting it as you pay off those loans.
  8. I will say it is enjoyable filling up his gas tank as frequently as it is needed.
  9. I'll have you know....he tried the cracker routine.

    <HAPPY DANCE>

Ask him how he's feeling and if he's going to work tomorrow. The can tell you once again, that Dan is right.
  11. Oh crap. Now I KNOW why I never let myself get hooked on EQ2 or even played it ever since I got together with him. He almost suckered me into Star Wars Galaxies for a while but I quickly got bored. It's great to see how much support everyone has been giving him, and he deserves every bit of it.
  12. Robert I love you and have two words for you: MINIMIZING AGAIN!
  13. There's a photo of Trebs and I in this new album...https://www.gayauthors.org/forums/index.php?autocom=gallery&req=user&user=212&op=view_album&album=128 More pics will be added soon including a 'Guess the celebrity' selection of pics.
  14. Sometimes these questionaires can be silly fun. As for touching your nose with your tongue, why didn't you tell us you could do that in Denver? We could have gotten pictures!!!! Oh, and question 42 about farthest you've been from home, my first thought was how to measure the distance? Is it vertical, as in highest altitude, miles traveled, and how do you count if you have circumnavigated the globe?
  15. Joe is always amusing when he speaks. Oh and thanks, you're absolutely right no one needs to take sides in this.
  16. Admins are not funny. We're serious people walking around with pain sticks for those that don't toe the line. You Tiff, toe the line so well there are no worries. (Okay, um that was a joke). I'm here for three reasons: 1) Great Stories 2) Great people 3) I signed the darn papers so I have to be now....
  17. Bill Gates Made a ton of money, helped put a computer on every desk, and now he's giving that money to the poor he need it the most.
  18. Pride Marches are a great thing when they first get started in places they have never been before. With the events surrounding these events in Moscow (where they were banned), Eastern Europe (where they are beaten), and Israel (where last year they were bombed but this year was peaceful) it is good to see the bravery of our people in holding them. It is a reminder that San Francisco is a party in remembrance of freedoms won, while other places it is shout for freedom to come.
  19. One day, one step at a time. It's not easy, but keep moving forward. It's good to hear that you're coming through things and getting back on your feet. My best wishes will be with you.
  20. Congratulations on what sounds like a very positive name change!

    Note

    I'm almost afraid to ask...
  22. How about a 'no get-together' option? The original get-together started as an informal affair. We were getting together with LittleBuddha and invited others to show up as well. Dallas was another similar get-together. Let's just take our own vacations from now on and if anyone wants to invite other GA folks to some place, they can do it on their own.
  23. Well, Robert and I will be in D.C. in January watching Barack being sworn in as President....
  24. I will remind you that it was YOU who offered ME Mason's ass in consideration for in-kind contributions and $50. Don't blame me.
