I'm more curious about that poor woman Betsy felt the need to terminate. Did Colt have a friend in school or Sunday school? 21 is a bit young to have a degree, which lead me to think she did volunteer work somewhere. Colt's 'mom' wanted to be seen as church going, so she probably sent Colt there.

Oh, this chapter was filled with surprises! I'm really glad Bobby got to hear quite a few people aren't sharing his father's views. And for Mrs Oliver to be related to Tiffany! I say he stays with Mrs O and let his father figure out where he went wrong.

Domestic abuse is always so hard to read, because it's perpetrated by people who are supposed to love and protect us. That betrayal of trust is heartbreaking and makes me so angry and sad. Far too many people live like this and have to endure their own personal hell... I can understand if Tait just wants to put an end to things as quickly as possible. Cutting lose from his past. Just hope Sean doesn't have some mean trick up his sleave. Although, if he did I'm sure Phil won't be so meek this time around. But with the police involved, would Sean really risk it? Or perhaps he feels he has nothing to lose. Kind of hard for the DA to drop any charges when Tait was almost killed. At least, that would never work in Sweden.

Colt admit to needing to be rescued? That will be the day! Of course, he could be happy to be saved but not acknowledge the need for it. I like the song for the musical though. I would say it's for Bradley or Gavin. They are so full of longing.
