Nice little relaxation at the end. I doubt the Captain is so sensitive he can't even handle a question. It was a fair one and Kohen only has limited knowledge of all the workings of the ship and its equipment.

For me, this distance and inanity to connect with Envy is because he's always posing, never feeling or reacting. If he'd open the lid even just a little to his true self, he'd be a total mess and thereby lose all ability to impress Siccu. A fate worse than death. This fake persona creates a divide between us and him. To write a story from a person POV and still have that person be like a mirror impression wise, is pretty impressive to me. Very consistent writing.

I'm equally puzzled. But I'm sure Rush and Ben will not let this go so easily. I get how Rush can miss his old job. Good he has Ben and Clay to keep his spirits up. -
Well now, that was one way of getting to know the boys... Yummers. And now I look forward to seeing how they handle the tricky business of being four in a relationship. I mean, they haven't defined themselves but it's clear they are together.

I understand years of feeling inadequate and unworthy have left deep wounds, but I still wish he would have told her off. If he tries to have further contact without her making the first move, it'll be even more soul destroying. He doesn't need that sort of negativity in his life, family or not. Blood isn't anything special just because you're related. It's just a liquid, replaceable like most. The old bag better hope Tony won't get creative with vengence. When her new friend has revealed he's only after her money, she'll realise she's alone. And then it could be too late...

I think the family would have an easier time accepting Matt as a vampire than Levi. He's lived through loss of those around him and I doutbt he'd put Matt through that. Then again, Matt is a stubborn sort. Who knows who'll win that argument?

Noom always has a peculiar way of getting to know people. I guess Envy found out hard way. It's really depressing how he's so obsessed with his outer appearance. His inside must be such a complete mess.
