Week Six Monday, October 6, 2014: A Day of Warnings
skinnydragon commented on skinnydragon's story chapter in Week Six Monday, October 6, 2014: A Day of Warnings
Thanks for the review Lisa! Ouch! The backspace key. I've done it a few times too. Why is it even there? It's like some relic from the past. Dad needs someone to explain a few things. Maybe HIS dad? Enos does seem to be getting more powerful and more creepy -
Week One Tuesday September 2, 2014: Twoey
skinnydragon commented on skinnydragon's story chapter in Week One Tuesday September 2, 2014: Twoey
Thanks for starting it Tim! Yeah Twoey/David is gonna be like oil and water. Probably best taken in small doses -
Oh wow, Robbie better watch out! Fran's a step and a half in front of him! He almost messed up with Rory too! And that attempt to appear straight with a joke! Robbie is getting careless!

Week One Monday September 1, 2014: Labor Day
skinnydragon commented on skinnydragon's story chapter in Week One Monday September 1, 2014: Labor Day
Thanks for finding it Tim! I know it's a lot of chapters. I hope it keeps your interest! -
Thanks Tim! My first and last stab at a prompt. I should try another, I guess.

The Love with No Pattern
skinnydragon commented on skinnydragon's story chapter in The Love with No Pattern
Thanks Drew! I know it's kinda weird, but I was playing around with stuff and the thought hit me, so I said, "Why not?" It was fun trying, anyway. -
Somehow I have more faith in Mr. Pamchenko finding the guilty parties than the police. Jason is surely in the middle of it all now, and won't get out, no matter what Denise wishes. Nicely done Mitchelll

We know what Craig wished on that day, but I wonder what Joel wished. He seemed to be thinking about it. HA! I knew Dr. Pollack was the mad scientist who caused it all! Now somebody has to figure out how to un-doom everybody. Either that, or there's only about 2 more chapters left ...hehe. Good chapter Gee! Thought provoking too.

As by fate, He Did create our We. Proving all the hate Unerringly inconsequential. Justly Beaten by the flower Of love eternal ...

Wow, what a surprise re-appearance! Warmly appreciated. I knew there were a few loose ends hanging about. It's good Kit learned a little humility. It'll help round him out Jay? Well we knew there was never any hope for him.. Great chapter!

How did I miss this? Anyway, a few thoughts. Andy will have two new classes. Two new sets of classmates. Maybe the new dynamic will make something happen. Of course it will ...hehe I like that the two boys made significant eye contact. They know each other knows now. Also Lunch Boy has a Saturday location possibility, if he has any smarts at all. Nice chapter Parker!

Week Six Thursday, October 9, 2014: Biggy’s Room
skinnydragon commented on skinnydragon's story chapter in Week Six Thursday, October 9, 2014: Biggy’s Room
Thanks for the review Defiance! "Didn't we all have a teacher in the form of Burch." What a great little line! And true!! Mine was actually the mayor of a small town about 30 miles outside the district. And he was an awful physics teacher. Twoey has the major shock of Danny's death and the possible misreading of David's "love." A lethal 1-2 punch. And we know it's on the way. -
Week Six Wednesday October 8, 2014: She Loves Me?
skinnydragon commented on skinnydragon's story chapter in Week Six Wednesday October 8, 2014: She Loves Me?
Thanks Defiance! It's only natural to take the view of the prime narrator ...In any story, usually. We need to be a little more careful when things don't add up. Especially when we know he's got so much internal turmoil. I think the adoption of Twoey's mom is clearly underway -
Well, part III could prove interesting, unless it involves men in black who put the boys in cells to keep them quiet. But I don't expect that. I had a hunch this is what was making Dr. Pollack so frazzled when he came home from work. Good chapter Gee! Anticipating the next part!

Week Five Sunday, October 5, 2014: Mike’s Dollar
skinnydragon commented on skinnydragon's story chapter in Week Five Sunday, October 5, 2014: Mike’s Dollar
Thanks for the review Lisa. Twoey thinks he has everything mapped out between David and himself. The only snag, of course, is David. What will it take to move him? Maybe somebody else, who is not as much of an emotional problem to him as is Twoey? Martin will tell David Monday what he meant in the text, and it is mind boggling (sort of). -
Very gratifying little chapter Mark! It's amazing how JP knew exactly what Will was up to, unifying the next generation. Will is simply the heir apparent in JP's eyes. JJ is blossoming too. They had all better carefully review any investments during this period they are under attack. Anything, magazine sale, new partnership, etc. could be a hidden explosive. Also Zack.

I guess you could call that squeezing out the solution ...hehe Well at least it got Hunter to page 2 Nice chapter W_L!

Week Six Thursday, October 9, 2014: Biggy’s Room
skinnydragon commented on skinnydragon's story chapter in Week Six Thursday, October 9, 2014: Biggy’s Room
Thanks for the barrage of questions Parker ...haha! David and Burch ...approaching explosion, for sure! Another thing approaching is the Sunday meeting, pregnant with emotion and revelation! Unless Twoey forgets everything by then. Whatever happens, we ALL know David is nowhere near ready for this encounter. He should stay away ...but won't. -
Week Six Thursday, October 9, 2014: Biggy’s Room
skinnydragon commented on skinnydragon's story chapter in Week Six Thursday, October 9, 2014: Biggy’s Room
Thanks for the comments CG! Yeah, Burch is starting to give me the creeps now too. Kathy ...hmmmm. Maybe David has already begun. Parker mentioned his inviting Lanni on Kathy's date as a 'slick move' ...haha. I think Ginny's only concern is for her son's recovery. Everything she does is consistent with that. Even the 'lie' of omission. But you're right, it could ultimately cause damage. -
Week Six Thursday, October 9, 2014: Biggy’s Room
skinnydragon posted new chapter in 18 Weeks of Twoey
Gary and I recorded our time this morning. Then he said, “I'll ask my father to drive our route and have the car's odometer figure its distance.” Of course, why didn't I think of it! I feel like an idiot ...and I'm supposed to be smart! There’s a XCountry race tomorrow. My first time on Varsity! I'm pumped!! A funny thing happened at breakfast. I poured out my usual few bits of cereal and a sliced banana, a sliced apple and some blueberries, covering it all in honey. I was just about to pour- 10 comments

The dogs are reunited, the boys are reunited. And now they have allies. OK Dr. Pollock, come to the rescue. But somewhere, deep in the recesses of my suspicious mind, is the thought he might have been the cause. But it's your story, not mine ...haha.

Aw God, that was awful Tim. Not the writing, you did it well and made me feel your horror. The situation was (is, I suppose, as it still happens every day) one which never should be allowed to happen. And it was forced upon you, as a young boy, by people's alleged belief in a savior who would have been on your side and not theirs. That's the little comfort you can wrest, I hope. It was very frank and took some guts. Thanks for opening my eyes again.

Week Five Saturday, October 4, 2014: Homecoming Dance
skinnydragon commented on skinnydragon's story chapter in Week Five Saturday, October 4, 2014: Homecoming Dance
Thanks Lisa! David's going to find out soon enough what Kathy was doing, but (naturally) will draw the wrong conclusion. I think the handwriting's on the wall for the ultimate fate of that relationship anyway. Ginny will probably begin helping David more as the worries about her son lessen. But we can never forget all this we are privy to is from David's perspective. As we are slowly discovering, David is superb at hiding things from himself. It's easy to forget how seriously injured Twoey was. He was on the edge of death. We get to experience his thoughts, but even those thoughts will be colored or forgotten as he heals.
