Whew 129! I finally caught up! I can't imagine what the issue between Keon and Nix was, although I'm sure we'll eventually find out. The triangle between the boys is now clearly drawn and, going forward, it should be interesting. I'm sure not too fond of Theo, taking advantage of Lakota behind Lyric's back. Something tells me Lyric's ire is not something he'll be too fond of when she finds out. Keep up the good story!!

hey 129! I just found this story. Looks interesting. Max seems to be the object Nix will focus on, but I could be wrong, it's early. OK ,,,on to chapter 2

The Kendall and Michael 'love scene' once again illustrated the deep feelings they have for each other. You do that so well Gary! Their love creates an aura that everyone else can perceive. Nate feels it too, and that's the good part of them becoming his temporary foster parents. Nate will have a wonderful example right before him, every day. I'm happy Michael bit the bullet and discussed Nate's question with him. I was beginning to worry he was delegating that kind of stuff to Kendall. Of course that ultimately would have been a huge mistake. This chapter left us with the hope that Nate will indeed survive under M&K ...hehe Great one Gary! Can't wait for more.

Maybe there will be a search for the good Samaritan. Well, we can always hope. Eric needs help. Now. A great chapter Parker! Once again Eric shows initiative and ability, as he has before. If he can get out of this trap he's in, I believe he could easily make his way in the world. But, of course, right now his world is narrow and one-dimensional. It's a good story. A great adventure!

It was a very fine chapter Tim! I was thinking 'regrouping' as I read it. Then noticed the title for the first time. Well, I guess 'past and future' is sort of regrouping, isn't it? Everything in the chapter, from the mundane explanation of finances by Russell's mom to the emotional recall of Evan's rebuffed offer to the promise of living with Evan again, was necessary girding Russell to be ready for his stunning honeymoon trip. Of course we still have the unknowns of Uncle Theo and Aunt Rikka, not to mention dear old dad. But everything can't be peaches and roses or a story loses interest ...hehe. Thanks for sharing this with us Tim!!

Week Four Thursday September 25, 2014: Twin Exposure
skinnydragon commented on skinnydragon's story chapter in Week Four Thursday September 25, 2014: Twin Exposure
Thanks CG for the comments! Yes, Twoey is figuring it all out and hasn't YET had the talk with Mom. When he does, he'll be even more determined to do everything right. Danny's problem could soon become clear. -

Thanks for the review Parker! I think you may be right about David needing to talk. The trouble with his relationship with Gary is they never do talk when the other has a problem. Now that the drums of war are beating nearer, he's close to being overwhelmed. -

skinnydragon posted new chapter in 18 Weeks of Twoey
“Wow Danny has a shitload full of trophies. He must be damned good!” I glanced at Gary, who doesn't know my spies saw Twoey leaving Danny's house, and seized my opportunity. “You Were In Danny's House?” He said, “Um ...yeah ...a couple Friday’s ago after school. Danny and I went down to the lake to kill some time and we stopped off for him to change. What's wrong?” Gary said, “Dude, don't ever go into Danny's house!” I reinforced it. “Really Twoey! Stay out of the whole situation. We're dead- 10 comments

This world of creatures is far away from my comfortable world. I even refused to read Harry Potter ...hehe. As I mentioned in my review, the only demon I know is the woman in 5B. Now, all that being said, it's a great story and you kindly explain everything for those like me. My only knowledge of the Aesir comes from Der Ring des Nibelungen. So please keep up the good work! I believe all the mythology of the Earth is connected, as Joseph Campbell was fond of expositing, so your threat to explore Judeo-Christian mythology is happily anticipated in this quarter! But what do we dragons know? Billy already tamed one.

It was rewarding to see communication winning in the Reece/David blip. It will actually make them stronger, I'm sure. Parker was correct in mentioning an extended family. Everyone needs family, and the cousins can help there. Also looming is the prospect of Dave's family. Poetic justice if good old mom pushes Reece into being the son of a new set of parents. I wonder if that would be the seismic event to awaken Mrs. Bigot. Hehe

Well Eric isn't gonna get help in that town time to move on, I guess. But he needs to eat. A good chapter Parker, with nice sections of happy recollections and, of course, the reading activities. Bad moments too, like Creepy Colin I can't wait to follow Eric some more!

Billy Newt Tames a Dragon
skinnydragon commented on W_L's story chapter in Billy Newt Tames a Dragon
Aw W_L, I usually don't live in a world with warlocks and demons (except for that lady in 5B ) but you make this such a good story that I'm sorta hooked. Despite every atom in my body screaming "No!," please continue. I thoroughly enjoy this!! -
Hey Tim! Just think of that. A friend he can call in the wee hours and a boyfriend who loves him unconditionally. Ian is more than lucky, he's blessed! Maybe he's about to realize this (fingers crossed)
-
Thanks Lisa! Maybe Ian is about to develop some confidence. Shawn sure helps him see things more clearly. He couldn't ask for a better partner than Miles.
-
Haha Tim, I agree! I'm not sure ANY pet is safe with Ian!! It was fun to write though.
-
Thanks Tim! I completely agree with you about food and wine. It should appear more often than it does!
-
Thanks Tim! Yes they seem to be made for each other. Well, Miles seems to be made for Ian. But he must be in so love too.
-
Hey Tim! I'm not so sure either, but who knows, maybe he has motherinlawphobia. Anyway, it was fun writing.
-
Hi Lisa! This was fun putting the shoe on the other foot, so to speak ...hehe
-
Thanks CG! Yes I guess Miles IS human after all.
-
Thanks Parker! We've been analyzing poor Ian so much, I thought Miles needed a turn. I guess meeting Ian's mother was a little out of his wheelhouse.

Chapter 13 Making Friends
skinnydragon commented on Dodger's story chapter in Chapter 13 Making Friends
I really liked this chapter Dodger! Robbie mourning Tom but, inch by inch, starting to move on. Two mysteries. Fran and the 'camp' boy (Nathan?). How will they weave through Robbie's new life and what is their orientation (although we are pretty certain about the boy). Robbie thinks Sue knows, if I read that correctly. Will she be the first he comes out to? You've given us plenty of paths over which the story can wander. I can't wait to walk them! Nice going. I love your story! -
“Don’t get yourself in such a state!” He was almost chuckling, but it didn’t do anything at all to calm me. He was driving us to introduce me to his mother for gosh sakes! I’ve never been this nervous before in my life ...in my entire life! I’m glad it wasn’t me behind the wheel, or we’d be dead by now for sure. “I told you how accepting she was when I came out to her at 16! You’re not going to be met by rabid villagers with pitchforks and torches. Relax!” My sweetie was trying, but it wasn’t d
