How did you slog through this travelogue four times? Took me two years to make it through once. On January 22 2023 I wrote this in the prologue: I don't believe I've read this tale before. The sheer size of it is rather frightening to be honest. Normally stories this long are padded with a ton of filler scenes and a penchant for cliffhangers. As prologue goes, this was rather short and mostly an info dump. I'll check out Chapter One and see where this goes. I just finished this story in February 2025. I stopped commenting around chapter nine because I have a new thing to only comment on things I like. I never commented again. But my prediction in the prologue was accurate. When I wrote my review, it was nearly twenty pages. I must admit it was refreshing to say exactly what I wanted to say, even if no one is ever going to read it. Full Disclosure, I continued reading because I wanted to see how the story ended and if the predictions I made somewhere around chapter five came true. Plus I viewed it as a personal challenge to finish it.

This is why I never want to have kids, they just always ruin good sex! James is being very selfish, though he's phrasing it in a way of being a good father. He's just scared and retreating like he's always done his entire life. His son has already stood up for him, didn't care that his father had found someone. Alex barely knows Jonas, they met him at the same time so its not like he's attached to the man or are friends outside of boxing. Kind of makes me want to jump inside the pages and shake some sense into him.

The only thing more pretentious than wine descriptions are those of coffee drinkers. Coffee drinkers are almost as bad as ethical vegans 🤪 And no one is as bad as a hot wing fanatic describing sauces. PS: I don't drink wine, nor coffee, nor am I a vegan, but hot wings...how much time do you have.

So James is oblivious, painfully so, Jonas has pretty much done everything but drop to his knees and pull it out for the man. How the hell did James ever hook up with anyone when he was in the closet. He's really bad at this game. Alex seems rather immature for his age, he reminds me more of 14 or 15 year old when he was asking how to talk to girls, and how he is behaving about swimming and boxing. Keith must be a loser if he's in his mid twenties and still living at home. I'm normally not one for this type of stories, but the narrative is rather addictive and James inner monologue is hilarious. I'm on to chapter four.

Who knows why Matt does anything? He seems to like pushing Jesse's buttons, or is he pushing Daniel's button via Jesse? If everyone recalls, Ryan already has it in for Tyler back during Senior Table War. What's gonna happen when he finds out his plaything is now exclusive property of Tyler. *evil laugh*

If we look at your comment and think of them as five separate points. Point one, Yes, Matt said Tyler looked just like his father. Point two, Yes and also No, Point three, secrets are impossible to keep, someone always talks, now we just have to figure out who is the one that spills the beans, Point Four, Ryan is explored more in Part Two, Part Five, more will be revealed in the next two chapters regarding Devin. I think I did that without a single spoiler. I'm pretty proud of myself.

So I lied, I'm about 85K into it, and I'll share it with you anon. I should be finished with it in the next few weeks but we can get started on the first 12 chapters. Though I won't be posting anything until the story is complete.

While I would agree on you, I would suggest saying it thusly, You were a hot mess I'm old, married, and don't do any of these messy things anymore, except when I do. Thanks for commenting.

Someone should make a poll who is Tyler's father!

Just by the fact they all went to high school together means they are connected, add in that they all hung out once upon a time, there is a reason they stopped. And then what about Matt doing something he regrets to Daniel's friend, it seems all I am doing is creating questions without giving answers. Maybe I was a writer on Lost once upon a time. . Do you know how many times I broke it off with a boy because my friends didn't like them. You can always find someone to sex up, but friends aren't so easy to come by.

Brandon is new to the whole relationship thing, in his excitement he made two errors in judgement. One error was a writing mistake by myself, and the one with Ashley was planned and will have a payoff If you notice, Tyler was a bit more discreet, the only reason Devin found out was he walked in on them. Brandon needs to learn to adjust his instinct to blurt things out either for shock or because his social skills aren't that good. Ryan, Ryan, all of our players have now been introduced.

So in regards to Part Two, I got distracted by another story, I'm about 65K words right now, with a projected total of 130K, twenty chapters around 300 pages. I might beg you to do that one while I work around Part Two, a few things I'm not liking about it at the moment.

I think I got a little carried away with this scene. From Matt's point of view, it kind of makes sense, but Brandon's focus could have been written better. Though Brandon seems not to understand the dynamics between keeping things private, that might come back to bite him on the apple so to speak if he's not careful. Don't worry, as I always say, I can be whatever you want and enthusiastically as well.

So, thus far, we have suspicions that Matt is the father, Matt's dead friend is the father, Daniel is the father, and now Jesse is the father. We have yet had anyone suggest that Tyson is the father. All are interesting, while there are two more dilemma's to address, being a total of four, you won't find out that answer until almost the end of the telling. Though I promise, you will find out the answer.

Matt is a jack of all trades, in Part Two you find out more about his junkyard business and things he does to make money. All legal, but he does have three ex wives and several kids he's paying for. I can say, without spoiling anything, Brandon has never seen Jesse before that day.

So I'm sad they aren't twins, for many reasons. Though I will say, that Laura said straight away that Wren used to have the gossip rag and then graduated and Cottontail ( i refuse to call him hearst) took it over. Even though I knew that piece of info, I still wanted them to be twins...

It took him almost thirty minutes to walk to the junkyard. He had been right, by the time he arrived he could barely feel his fingers. He should’ve put gloves on the list he wrote for his father. Yes, these story comments are by far more entertaining than what I wrote.

Not sure I'd laugh if anyone fell on their ass, I find that body part to be almost as sacred as undies...I'd probably rush over to massage the pain away. If I could ever figure out a way to upload photos, I'd probably be uploading all sorts of food pics. That would almost be like I'm cooking for you.

So Chris, I'm kind of disappointed in you. I had the perfect set up for your brand of humor. Matter of fact I almost wrote the joke for you. And you let the whole tummy comment slip right by without saying a word. Just like my favorite chapter of this story has the least interaction of any chapter, just goes to show you what I find funny no one else does.

So what I'm hearing is you won't bend my rules because I'm too young, that's hurtful! 🤪🤪
