Thanks Man! That's one of the reasons I'm considering the iMac. Good to have that idea affirmed.

Because you gave me permission, I did speculate. However, it's in the next chapter's comments.

I think we need to blame the Russians. They love to mess with computers. Drew is mischievous, but hold math and tech too high to mess with them. I imagine he places his computer on a pedestal in front of this throne when he posts. 🤔

Chris wrote a great review and covered the warnings very well. I would like to add that this story is very touching and lovely. A very interesting take on the variety of love, sexual preference and choices in the ways people believe in god. I was very impress by the voice Steven hears that gives him guidance. To me, the voice is a reassuring guide that tells him he is not only accepted by life, but of great value. This story is an affirmation of love, hope and life.

A very interesting take on the variety of love, sexual preference and choices in religion. I'm with both Gio and Steven on the idea that love is special and reserved for just one. I do agree with Gio that love and faith can be found everywhere and not just in a church. I think the end implies that Steven was also convinced of this. Like Steven, I do listen to the small voice. It is more than the voice of reason, right or wrong, or conscience. The voice is even more than that to me. It is the voice telling me, and I hope Steven, that I am part of live, accepted as I am by life, and of great value to life. This was a great affirmation of love, hope and life. Great story!

Featured Story: Give Me Back My Prompts by Sasha Distan
raven1 commented on wildone's blog entry in Gay Authors News
Thanks @wildone for once again writing a great review on Featured Story. As usual, it got me to read, react, and review a story I had not considered reading. I have read several of @Sasha Distan stories and enjoyed them very much, but this collection of responses to prompts had escaped my attention. Thanks again! -
A unique ride from heaven to hell with some stops in between. This collections of prompt responses has fluff, fun, fantasy, real life, sadness (with hope) that will please the reader with the imagination and talent of Sasha Distan. It is a great read, and a sampler of this author's ability to create wonderful stories.

It is very interesting that you chose to respond to this prompt. However, you handled it beautifully with compassion and love. The sadness was visceral, but the last touch at the end shows the love and strength of the two men to take up the challenge and give the kids the life and love that seems to have been stolen from them.

A household of domestic demons living in Hell. Great setting! BTW eggs are eggs and most of us start out that way until a demon sperm invades. Loving this and need to check in on Hell. Know of any hotels there that accept humans?

557 - Portal Stones Don't Just 'Go Missing'
raven1 commented on Sasha Distan's story chapter in 557 - Portal Stones Don't Just 'Go Missing'
You are so bad Sasha! But then you obviously already know it and are extremely proud of that fact! I want the whole story from beginning to end of James, Jordan and Jadyn, and I want it now! -
Oblivious, teen angst and missed communications. That's exactly what it was/is like in real life for the years following puberty. It was a great switch at the end to leave me laughing at the end of the story. I vote for more kisses. The only character that didn't impress me was Max. He wasn't intelligent enough to recognize Ivan was crushing on him. That's OK for a best friend that is straight, but he seems to have a broken gaydar.
-
I got much better than average laughs from this. I also see I'm not a statistical outlier when calculating the laughs at how you answered this prompt! I certainly enjoyed the not so fluffy details when Harry distracted Jack.

I always wondered how it would have been like if I started my teaching career at 22 instead of 40. Although I wouldn't have taught kids at that age. I liked working with 10-12 year old kids. Thanks for this very humorous story. I too am glad that schools today are much more accepting than those when I grew up!

With the Italian guys and the success of the fishing trip, there will be a lot of fishing for the next several weeks. Looking forward to the dinner tomorrow featuring Paella. That will be a big treat! Armand got himself in trouble with his suggestions of using the Halloween costumes for the paintings. It was great that the boys helped him clean up. Now the boys want Halloween costumes. It should be a fun shopping trip. Since Armand is doing a princess series of paintings, I wonder if he would do paintings of the boys as a Halloween series. Fun chapter, but it left me hungry! Now I have to go feed the stomach.

I got a headache trying to unravel the mental knot created when Jamie started to explain his theory. The best I could do was figure that he is implying that at least all of the party now have enough knack that they will be able to increase their individual powers and might even gain substantially greater powers after a visit to the nether. I do like the idea that the source of the magic is the nether. I also agree that Jamie now has his own space there. I wonder if the others will share that space equally or develop their own spaces. I'm looking forward to the visit with Flitch so shed some light on this. I think the mages in Methuwan would be very nervous if they knew what Jamie is up to now.

The heading on my profile are two such pictures. They were taken by my younger brother and me on the last time we spent together before his death. We took a 4 day vacation together, talked a lot, told stories and enjoyed the Tetons and Yellowstone. I never want to forget that experience.

I really didn't think of this like a short, short story. It was more like a holiday letter that is sent out to friends and family. That or an extended greeting card.

Great fun to read Aaron! Thanks!

Caught by a camera, the eye of the heart can be kept forever. Luke's birthday present from his grandfather is a gift that Luke will use to capture many moments, but the best picture will be the one that captures Luke's love. This story is a great read for old and young alike. Some will be reminded of memories and others given hope.

I remember this story well, and the picture that inspired the story. Both the story and the picture were beautiful. I enjoy stories like this for many reasons, and agreed with your comment. Stories like these bring good memories of my teen years. I also feel they are important for young gay teens to have stories to read that will bring hope into their lives. The first gay novel I read in the late 60s was a piece of sh__ , however it did give me the hope that I wasn't the only guy who found he liked other guys. At that time it was very important for me to know. Great story Geron!

Good Night Everyone!

Good night Bucket! Sleep well. I'm about ready to hit the sack also. I've a lot to do tomorrow.

They were for me also when I was in the states, and again in Thailand. I stopped growing them when I moved the first two time. I have space now, but not the energy.
