I agree with @drsawzall's comment. Since Parallax has chosen Beckett to help her, you would think that she would give him helpers that would encourage him and help him understand what he needs to know. Instead all of those who have been leading him around are rude, disdainful and unwilling to give him any information. I response to @drpaladin' question about a dog, I would imagine that Canis Major might be the culprit who stole the missing star. I also agree with drsawzall that @Cia works in mysterious ways so anything can happen. She's had a long history of making the improbable possible.

I did mean minds, but come to think of it there may be a few explosions when Drew and I negotiate. We all know Drew loves his explosives, but I can also be explosive if the occasion requires it.

Chapter 3-Exploration of Tanka poems
raven1 commented on raven1's story chapter in Chapter 3-Exploration of Tanka poems
As alway AC great advice! I will stick to the flowers, shrubs and trees that only bloom once a year, and foods that are related to holidays. That will help a lot in defining the seasons here. I can also use fireworks other than firecrackers. Fireworks are good since they are only used for Loi Krathong and all three New Years celebrated here. That means they are all used during a part of dry season from November to April. -
Wrong Drew! The Philippines are part of SE Asia and are subject to the same conditions as Thais. Like I said, we need to come to a meeting of mines. This is one more condition that need to be included in those you suggested.

Hey Spike! Hope you have had a great sleep and are ready for the fight ahead of you today.
-
Why? Is it because I think Drew is behaving like a two year old? 🤔
-
That is sooo sweet! If I go into insulin shock, it is your fault Albert! Wonderful picture. It really brightened my day!
-
You and Donald sound sooo much alike! World Heritage Sites are so left wing and need to be despoiled like the area around certain Scottish golf courses according to the two of you.
-
Hi Drew! Don't you think you should use another word than No. It is so, two years old kid kind of word.
-
Me too! Cary was sooooo hot! I hope that the Tough Guy may have learned his lesson and become the Fezzik in this story.

Venting a bit after a month of abstinence? Can't you pick on some bigger countries for a change, like Russia, China or India? Hi Drew!

Not only is this word fun to say, but it has so many wonderful connotations attached to it. I really must find a way to include it in a poem or two! Thanks @Myr!

Chapter 3-Exploration of Tanka poems

Thanks Adi! If it were not for your gentle push, I would not have come up with these. With a few words encouraged me to rethink and come up with much better lines and words to express what I feel. I do appreciate this very great compliment from you! -
I know Devin is young, but feel that his use of his shifter power for things like the bully may lead to problems. With today's electronic surveillance capabilities and cameras everywhere, he needs to be much more careful. I'm not sure the secrets are a big thing for Mac since they never are kept over a long period of time. It may lead to an argument or two just because they are irritating. I hope all goes well when both boys talk to their advisors about their academic plans. Also, having lived in both a high rise dorm and a three story dorm, I think the main consideration will be the age of the others in the building. The lower building I was in was filled with freshmen and sophomore students and very noisy. The high rise building had upper level and graduate students who were very quiet. I do hope they can get what the need to succeed.

This is such a great chapter with all the good news. Thad is up and about. Trevor and Aiden are joking with each other playfully and not to cover their stress. Ethan's explanation really emphasized how lucky they all were to still have Thad alive. Trevor gets to stay longer as well as Ethan, Aiden and the rest of their gang. Randy, Trevor and Skylar are planning a great outing. Seth is back and with the help of his three brother is probably going to get much better. I am glad that Seth evolved into a character that will not be discarded. I hope to see much more of him in future chapters. I thought it very cute that he got to be held by all three of the guys. Seth's sense of humor works well with them all. I bet he would make a very handsome and cuddly wolf. Thanks @WolfM!

Parker Owens not only writes great books, but is an excellent poet. Bragi's Bagatelles is a collection of poems for each day of April. They are diverse both in form and topic, but all are beautiful. These poems are filled with vibrant images and the romance found in nature. Your emotions will be stirred by some, and all will cause you pause to reflect. I highly recommend reading these delightful poems.

April 18th to April 31st
raven1 commented on Parker Owens's story chapter in April 18th to April 31st
I have enjoyed this great collection of poems. They are rich in the images of nature and life. I also thought your use of the skyscraper form was wonderful. I especially like April 23. Some made me laugh and one made me cry in frustration, April 22. Thanks for the wonderful words you have shared with me. -
Chapter 2-Haiku My New Year Explorations

Thailand is a very colorful country which loves to celebrate. They embrace the holidays from many different countries. Songkran is unique and all Thai, but is being embraced by some of the surrounding nations. I wish other nations would do as the Thais and focus on joy more than the negative aspects of life. Thanks for your comments. They are always appreciated. -
Hi Gary, I hope your cough goes away soon.

Thanks Jon! I am happy that you are enjoying these glimpses. Someday I hope to be able to give readers more of a panorama view like you have been writing in Backwoods Reflections. -

Thanks for you great observations AC! I have to say that Zero to Hero was a great help. Seasons are a problem since even in the rainy season the rain is heavy, but often in the evening or morning after perfectly clear skies. The only way I could think to include the seasonal reference was to change leap to spring. Very oblique reference. -

Thanks Parker! I did try to make them real and appreciate your observation. I admit that Adi made some great comments that sent me back to the computer to refigure some of my wording. -

Thanks Chris. She's getting older, but still a loving companion. Glad you like the poems. -
