I love how the small clues in this mystery/romance keep adding to the story. One thing that did upset me was that the Boltfort has not been getting the attention it needs from the surly maintenance man. I hope the tenants start to complain to have him removed. Installing cameras inside is a very good idea. Technology today works well to catch a thief.

Strange noises and shadows that shouldn't be there. That's a little creepy unless you own a cat. Great chapter and had to laugh at all the cat comments. Being a cat owner several times over, I have experienced many of the instances revealed in the comments. One of my cats could open doors I knew I had closed. Another knew how to open a drawer, jump in then close the drawer. It took me quite a search to find out what was making the noise that woke me up in the middle of the night. Good chapter.

Another wonderful poem with all the innocence of youth. I went thru high school much the same. I was shy and had a crush on a guy I thought would make my life complete. It's a common event in human life. 😜

I really do love this poem. However, as I was reading the comments I flashed on this and thought you would appreciate the humor.

First the chapter, then the comments. This was a very good chapter if a bit surprising. Getting to know Lincoln better was interesting. I hope we get more of Lincoln's story later. I was surprised that Lucy was pregnant, but felt she and Richie made a good decision. CJ and Owen supporting that decision was not a surprise at all. What disturbed me was the discussion in the comments. Not because of the comments, but what has happened since then. SCOTUS basically made a decision to impose a religious belief held a majority of the court on the rights of the citizens, especially women. Their excuse was lame. To me the ruling said it was not the responsibility of SCOTUS to protect the rights of all citizens, it was up to the states to protect or deny the rights of citizens. Of course what further disturbed me was the ruling of a federal judge in Texas to This is another religious based ruling. It is an end run to try to circumvent the laws of states that allow abortion.

I too was disappointed the naked studs were wood. Lots of fun in this chapter Carlos. I'm a bit concerned for Richie. I thought he wanted to enter the Air Force Academy. I'm siding with @Backwoods Boy on this one! As for Trevor wanting a mate? No problem! Aiden and Ethan have already proven that you can have your mate, and friends with benefits too. As for a child, Trevor, Randy and Skyler would have no problem begin fathers. How the female(s) would react and become a part of the family will be up to the female. I don't think any female would have a problem, and if she does she won't be considered by any of the guys.

Reading your description of the Boltfort left me daydreaming of riding the elevator and walking in the halls. I felt the love and comfort in the conversations between David, his father and grandfather. Looking forward to reading this story again.
