I agree with your reasoning and conclusion and would like to add one thought about philanthropy just for show. By being public about their gifts, they bring awareness of charities that might not be well known and set a role model that everyone can emulate, whether rich or poor.

Craig is a bit modest about his stories, but I have loved reading the ones he has created especially the Boot stories. They document a real-world problem many writers will only touch upon briefly. He doesn't pull punches when describing the tragedy of homeless people but focuses on how they can regain their lives with the support and love of others. I do hope you check them out.

I enjoyed reading your comments and was very pleased that you pointed out the bond that has been established between Harry, Charlie and Michael. I felt privileged to see a new family being formed as I read the story. This was the heart of the story for me. Of course, Missy is also part of this family, and I love her dearly. This brings up a point about your comments on philanthropy. As Harry pointed out to Janice, we can all be philanthropists by giving a home to a pet that has been cast off. The worth of a pet is not in their breeding or cost but in their heart.

I'm also looking forward to working on new stories with you. I love the Boot World. Working with you is a lot of fun and a great honour for me.

Got it! Thanks for the clarification. I believe we were not using the same definition of Queer. I was referring to the use of the word to malign our community. I do choose to wear that word with pride rather than be a victim of the word. I also don't mind if anyone refers to me as queer based on the definition you used. I am neither ordinary nor conventional. As for normal, it is a faulty concept I don't believe exists. Life is so wonderfully diverse that I cannot understand the need or use of the word.

This is a lovely soft landing for the entire series. I'm going to miss this series, but look forward to the wonderful stories I know you will create. I loved your Author's Notes and would like to thank you and those mentioned in the notes for all that was done to create this impressive and entertaining series. ❤️

Hi @Al Norris. Being fashionably old and having had similar thoughts as this, I respect what you have said. However, I would like to submit a different opinion. While some hateful sling the word queer at me, I wear it as a badge of honour. To me, it is an acknowledgement that I am a unique individual. I also know that there are more than two biological genders in our world. Some species can even switch genders from male to female and back again. Humans can be born with some or all of the equipment of both genders. Who can say that certain DNA doesn't affect how humans behave sexually? How do we explain bisexuality or asexuality? There are many such instances of variation in gender identification that lead to these questions. I choose to accept the choices of others and give them respect for being unique in the face of those who follow rigid orthodoxies that make those others feel they have the power to destroy the lives of others who are different.

I'm glad to hear you are better. I have had a lot of sinus infections and know they can last a long time, even with medical treatment. The last one sent me to the doctor early since it blocked my inner ear and gave me trouble with hearing and equilibrium.

Hi Doc! Julie is an amazing person and a favourite of gays. Her brother is gay, and her support of the gay community was well-established. She was still very beautiful in the 1995 movie, To Wong Foo With Thanks, Julie Newmar. It was only a small part at the end, but it provided a perfect ending to this fun film. The Wikipedia entry on her life was very good and a way to see some of her achievements if you want.

Hi Albert! I hope you get better soon. I hate coughing like that. It makes anything you do or say very difficult. It seems like every time I have a glass or cup of liquid in hand, I immediately have to cough, sending whatever is in it everywhere. That means cleaning up and coughing again as I bend down to clean. I've been known to need a nap after cleaning the mess but then have another coughing fit because of the shift from standing to lying down. Take care, my friend.
