More like water cannons! The secret ingredient is ice! Thais also use buckets and hoses, and in Petchabun, Aod's family home, a local temple uses a fire truck.
A very weird and wonderful tribute to Carlos Hazday. Short, sweet and fun. However, you need to read some of Carlos's great stories to appreciate the complexity and humour of this well-written tribute. I suggest you read this and Carlos' stories.
I think Carlos would have loved this kind of weird and wonderful conversation between strangers. The hint of CJ and his squad being wolf shifters was very sexy! I can imagine Carlos having this kind of conversation with a stranger when he was writing Explosions. Very nice tribute, Northie!
This wonderful poem of four beautiful tower stanzas eloquently and proudly points out Carlos's spirit and life achievements. This is a very fitting tribute to the life of this great man. May his spirit inspire us and future generations.
I had a good laugh at the golem gatekeeper asking Beckett if he had an appointment. The Mage Council has one weird secretary. It may be fearsome, but I have great hope that Beckett will be able to blast it to dust if necessary. I also laughed at Beckett referring to the mages as jocks. Can you imagine a race in tank tops, shorts and sneakers between Dumbledore, Gandalf, Morgana Le Fay and the Wizard of Oz? Brilliant chapter, Cia!
This novella is a fun read and a well written Sci-Fi with flare. It's a unique new universe where sex is not just normal but expected behaviour that keeps society peaceful. It is a very erotic and sensual setting for this story.
Trust me, Spike, that is a real-life depiction of how Thais react to rain, showers, or swimming. Aod is constantly nagging me to dry my hair more after showering, even though my hair dries faster than it takes to him to dry his using a hairdryer. Songkran is the one time when everyone gets thoroughly drenched without immediately getting dry.
It has been a great start. I got to read Gary's newest chapter, which was AWESOME! I also worked on Craig's story to help get it ready for posting soon. Since I participated in the tribute to Carlos Hazday, I've been replying to the comments and reviews of my poems in Carlos' honour.
Aod's been very quiet today because he is assembling his new GAT X-105 Strike Gundam model.
How's your start?
Wow! This was a great New Year surprise and a great tribute to Carlos. I'm sure he is upstairs beaming with pride. It was packed with a heap of reveals, two of which I was expecting but the others surprising. The first kiss was so well written, and the stories both men told each other were the perfect lead into their declarations of love for each other. Thanks so very much!
I got my assignments done and back to you. I wouldn't worry about the posting schedule. Almost all of the stories I have been following have been off their schedule for the past week or two.
Thanks, @Doha. Carlos was great at responding to his readers with honest and caring responses to their comments. I feel privileged to have been one of the readers he sent those responses to. I could do no less than pay tribute to this great man.
Hi @Valkyrie! I am honoured by your comment. Not only did you organize this event, but your encouragement was one of the main reasons I have become a poet and more active in the GA community. Thank you so much!
That sounds so lovely, Clo. I can't imagine how wonderful it would be to see a castle outside my school. I'd probably be distracted from studying, imagining what it would be like to live in the castle.
Thank you for your kind comment, @Reader1810! I hope Carlos approves and gets a few laughs from King of Cliffs. Your comment gives me hope that he will enjoy both poems
HaHa! Believe it or not, I only had 4 large beers over a period of 6 hours. I woke up without a hangover, cleaned the house, and actually worked on some editing for you and drsawzall today. 😛 Hope your day is going well.
