You put to voice the thoughts, ideas and beliefs that I have develop over the many years of my life. When I read it I remember my parents who taught me the skills to defend myself in the very conservative environment I lived it. They would have understood this poem and applauded its truth and honesty.

I agree with all the comments. I have to add that I am impressed by the eloquent way you are able to cleanse your mind of these troubling thoughts.

Great truth in your words Gary. The become more relevant each day. During the last three years, many countries have been lost to autocratic rulers and are no longer democracies. The problems we face are growing because people are to apathetic to deal with them, and allow leaders who focus reelection that world problems. Perfect poem for our time.

Adaptation ability? It seem Rafe has it, but as Dylan said he needs to learn to control it. Best fight ever. Andre had faith, but this match probably had him sweating a bit. It would be nice if in some impossible future Rafe and Dylan can team to take down his father and The Coat of Wolframite. Well written words created great images in my mind of this epic fight.

The chowder sounds yummy! I'd send some warm winds to clear up things for Sunday, but the jet stream isn't as fast as it sounds. So I'll just keep my fingers crossed that weather your way will improve on its own.

Hey Everyone! I finally got the poems posted, successfully this time.😜

We're doing good. Aod is out having coffee with some of our friends. I stayed at home to try to correctly post my poems for Poetry Anthology 2023. I screwed up my first attempt, but Val and Myr came to my rescue. I am waiting for Myr to give me the go ahead. I want to get it posted while I have courage to do it. It's taken me since New Years to trash two poems, and write three. Addy helped me as Beta and Editor. He is fun to work with and encouraged me all the way. How are you, Morgan and Max?

Sadly john passed quietly away, but it was at least quickly and without pain. It spared his family the extended emotional pain and trauma of a lingering painful death. I was impress how the club honored him. Also by the way GG and the family helped Mary through this time. It does seem that Colin will be under additional stress for some time while he takes care of the business. I hope he can reorganize the structure of the business to free up to spend with Armand and the family. I'm sure Richie will ably help him. If there is a third death, GG will be there to warn them and help them deal with the results.

I like Zoey's attitude and villainous mind. I think that John would be a perfect match for Connor, since the are both a-holes. It's great Rusty's friends want to help him, but Rusty has the right idea. His campus 'confrontation' with T-Man had me laughing so hard my stomach hurt. The confrontation just goes to show Rusty knows how to handle Connor. Ignore him and let him get buried by his own S.H.I.T. Of course, Zoey would be able to set that up. I'm sure her personal crush would be impress by skills and intelligence if she does. Unfortunately I don't have the imaginative criminal minds of either Zoey or Laura, but it might go something like this. Probably not. Laura's twists are impossible to predict! First she gets the high. Then gets them to steal some liqueur. Get's them drunk on stolen booze. They will take it over from there. All Zoey will have to do is keep the camera rolling!
