Of this I am sure. I see it in many of your stories. Larkspur and Morningstar immediately come to mind. I also see it in your comments on CotT2 and now your poems. The beauty of your words and stories are part of my defenses against ugliness. May the part of you that creates such beauty always be with you.

These two men do seem to be very compatible and comfortable when the talk. I did have to laugh at the end when the had the language lesson. It sounded much like what I and my boyfriend do as he teaches me how to pronounce a new word in his language, Thai.

Cory does act like a frat boy. Terry enlightened him a bit, but not enough for Cory to get over his stereotyping of Native Americans. This story is growing on me.

Being from St Paul Cory would think SF isn't cold. Cory is quiet about himself. Terry's sister has a habit of setting up her brother from a long distance it would seem. Of course, may be Terry's evidence that she is behind Cory's visit is just coincidence.

Nice start to the chapter. Camping sounds like fun, but Cory doesn't seem familiar with the great outdoors. I doesn't sound like he has much experience.

What? Wait! We want to know what happens next, Cia! You've created another cliffhanger that leaves us with so many more questions. I like the family as quirky as they are, but they are definitely not your average family or household cat. What does Beckett see in Parallax's eyes? How does Colby help his mother by placing a hand on her neck? What did Colby mean when he answered his mom's questions with, It implies the family knows something about Beckett that he doesn't know about himself. Great chapter!

I expected sadness and anger from the first few lines. What I got was the determination of the message to fight the blight that comes into our lives sometimes. It's not always easy, but what must be done to survive. I like the way you juxtaposed the two parts of this poem.

Unfortunately ugliness seems to linger. My only defense is to focus on all the beauty of life I can. It makes the ugliness less significant when it is surrounded by beauty. I may sound a bit naive, but this does work for me. Judgement was a very powerful, angry response to all the hateful people and things said by arrogant people steeped in their own ignorance. Two great poems.

This poem and the next struck my heart. I did get a new home, regrouped and gained passion again. I'm also in a new loop. The second poem is a journey in life, and I also have traveled that road.

A sad beauty in this poem. It expressed how I felt in high school most of the time. As I matured it was less common and now rarely happens. It still can happen as I age and feel the lose of friends and family.

CJ recovered nicely from his hangover from the wild night out. The dinner party at Club 21 was entertaining and well described. I had to google pics of the club. I saw the jockeys, the main dining room, and the cellar dining room. It's definitely upscale. With the guys were all acting like kids, they definitely needed to be out of sight of the other club patrons. I always enjoy how this group of young guys have few filters on their mouths. Your dialogue had me ROFL through out. Glad I read the comments and know the foreshadowing is a red herring. Very nicely done, Carlos.

Mrs. Zimmerman gets an A+ for her teaching skills. That class is amazing. The first night of the play went well, except for Dickie and his henchmen. The sleepover was a lot of fun also. As for the two couples becoming life partners? They will be that in my mind if Geron doesn't spoil it before the end of the story. I do love the musical artists mentioned.

I'm impressed! I'm glad the weather is warmer. You scared us all with the other walk.

Hey Clo! I'm trying making the best of it. Saturday I was at the local gay bar with friends. Monday at a small club with Aod and my best friend sipping Thai spirits cocktails and listening to live music. Last night Aod and I went with my best friend and his boyfriend to a disco.

Does that mean he's finally managed to figure out how to use the microwave?

This is a wonderful romantic story. It holds out the hope for great restorations of more than one house. The characters are lovable and so real. There is also a great deal of humor that adds spice to this entertaining story. It is a well written novel you will dearly cherish. Enjoy reading it.

There's hope that at least Maggie will be able to gain Marc' forgiveness. There is also hope for the town. Bruce's presentation implies that he is there to stay. A very nice epilogue that leave hope for a new story.

Winning the game was a great moment, but what followed with the team was even better. Greg is a crazy guy and the dialogue with the team was filled with humor. If the team had reacted differently, I'm not sure Junebug would have been able to get the courage to visit Donnie and Andy. I also loved it when Andy and Donnie got Greg to come over. Greg was close to speechless when he found out that Junebug like him and wanted to be his boyfriend. I would have enjoyed seeing Junie's face when Donnie opened the door.

Seven years is a lot of time and experiences Mac and Devin didn't share, but they are even closer now. The reunion was bittersweet with the conversation about Mac's siblings and mom's pressuring Mac to get married. However, the boys have a good plan in place to deal with that. I wonder if Mac will see another bear when he visits the cabin this time. 😉

My local baker has luscious bread rolls, but his buns are not great. They are a bit oversized for my taste.

You took us from a very nice high, to very low in a few sentences. That was an awesome way to leaving us hanging on the edge. The conversation and flirting between these three guys was stimulating. 😈 I expected them to jump each other as soon as they could. Of course life (or a sadistic author) put an end to that bit of fun. 😜 Seth is getting better, but I am still concerned about his injuries especially his back. It was great to see Randy so concerned for him. I'm happy that Skylar is also going to protect Seth. The young lycan, Rick, does remind me of Michael and is probably deep in the closet like Michael was. Some good speculation on the who, how and why of the attempt on Thad's life. I'm leaning toward the idea the McKinney's are out to revenge the financial losses they have experienced lately. However, with WolfM, anything goes. 😁
