Beware guys! This feels like a baited trap for unfiltered comments and locker room humor. Don't forget there are some powerful women around. I would say its the season to duck or be shot down if you fly into fate by ill advised comments.

John is a vampire with a difference, but the vampires in this story are just as different. Geron's fun foray into the supernatural is a feel good bundle of fun. His vampires are far from the traditional sort. John's parents' guests are a source of angst for John. He doesn't want just nourishment. He wants the right mate, but he is cutting it too close for comfort. If you want vampires you can love, this is definitely the story to read!

I had a great time rereading this story. You may have made tweaks to transfer it here, but I enjoyed the story just as much as the first time. Good thing John didn't feed on Lady Helen. Rendy is much more worthy of John's love, and a hell of a lot sexier.

When you face death do you really see the light? What happens if you flee the light and race to the darkness? How strong is the power of love at this time? The Light is an intriguing short tale that explores these questions. It only takes a few minutes of time to find the answers in the wonderful bit of reading. They will be minutes well spent!

Sorry, sorry, sorry Morgan! As always your kid has great tastes. I have three favorite cakes I love for birthday cakes, Tiramisu, Black Forest Cake and Blueberry Cheesecake. Max seems to be taking on a rigorous schedule. I hope he has fun with his new classes.

I met Maurice and David in Watcher and fell in love with them. The love of David and Maurice is energizing. Now as they begin their new life together they seek a way to blend their past and make room for their future. This is a masterfully written sequel to Watcher.

The love David and Maurice is energizing. How they keep and share their memories only strengthens their bond. This quote from the story had me with happy bits of moisture falling from my eyes. Now Maurice is making room for more happy memories he will create with David. He's not giving up the past. He's making space for the future. I have to tell you I was very impressed by the conversation as well as the set up of the mood in this chapter. Having memories sparked by actions and noises is a common experience shared by humans. You used this strategy seamlessly to bridge the past with the present. It is a perfect setting for these two lovers to explore their future together. Masterful!

This is not a sad tale, but one of joyful hope. Maurice is a character that anyone, any age can identify with. Despite his age and loses in life, he is able to find hope for his future. He is ready for a change in his life that will end his loneliness. The Watcher is a sweet tale of hope in a very compact story. A great read when you need a lift in life.

I had to read this once again. It stuck in my mind because I can identify with Maurice and David. As I get older I find the aches and pains of aging are less a problem than loneliness. This inspiring story affirms that we don't have to be lonely. We can decide to live a full and loving life at any age. This story speaks of that hope powerfully.

Except for Preston, Dickie's family are hateful bullies. I expect them to stir up trouble with Andy and Donnie. They may get warning in advance if Preston decides to warn Dottie of their plans. Andy and Donnie's decision on whether to come out will be tough. I think they can do it with the help and support of their friends. Dottie probably isn't the only one in Andy's family that know about him and probably Donnie also. I trust Dottie's intuition that the parents will be fine with the news. The worst they will get is The Talk from dad. Mrs Hinkie is a gem. She's a hard ass with a heart. Love her sharp eye and sharp tongue. She knows how to handle bullies, and is a great ally for the kids on her bus.
