Amazing musical choice. It hits me in so many ways. I love the acoustic guitar, Latin beat and the tropical, sensual video. ❤️ I was reminded of Sophia in a video singing Mambo Italiano, but updated to modern times. With a name like Fabricio Cesar Baravento and the initials FCB his nickname should be Barcelona. (Sorry, but I'm a big fan.) Yes! At one time I felt PC was a good improvement, but age has taught me different. PC takes the easy way out of a situation where education is better. I proudly accept I'm a faggot and queer. I used the opportunity to let people know how those terms originated and why I am proud of them. I also don't like the Woke moment. Tearing down statues of heroes who were flawed, products of their times and place, or made mistakes by today's standards is stupid. Leave the statue and erect a wall explaining and describing the time, environment, loyalty, backgrounds, beliefs, and weaknesses of the hero to provide balance. Leave the statues to show the strength, commitment and achievements. Educate not eradicate. Make history by keeping history truthful and multi-faceted. Don't censor history. If we do that, we enable a small group to seize power over the lives of all. It doesn't stop conflict. It perpetually regenerates conflict. Am I venting and ranting? No apology. Just think about it. Rogo is up for sale? Great! I'd buy it, but the Abelló family will snatch it up before I get a chance. They're always on the lookout for solid investments. They will get it in Rogo's, plus a great general manager they know very well. It's a perfect fit. The sad bit is the further fracturing of the Elite that brought this about. Ending the chapter with a cliffy? At least Brad is going to a hospital and not the morgue...yet! Hope he makes it out OK, but something tells me it may be serious enough for him to force him out of the service. Loved the chapter Carlos.

Good choices! Hold the vermouth/vodka for me, please. Serve with a stuffed green olive as a chaser to cut the sweetness. Heaven! 😇

March CSR Discussion Day: This Strange World Needs a Kicking by Laura S. Fox

Awesome questions and answers. I love Laura's stories. Dialogue is one of her strengths, but I would also like to add that her humor and twisted plots are what keep me coming back to read her wonderful stories. ❤️ -
Murder 101 - Prompt 124
raven1 commented on Cole Matthews's story chapter in Murder 101 - Prompt 124
Dream or not, this felt creepy. Was it a dream or a memory? This would be an excellent prologue to a murder mystery or perhaps the beginning of a supernatural tale. Whichever or whatever, it would very effectively set the mood for what happens next. Just reading it, I felt like Lady Macbeth and wanted to wash my hands. -
Three medical problems in one chapter with one win, one lost 😢 and a cliffy. Dinner conversations in the household are alway interesting. Happy the family is getting richer. I was sad that Gina lost the baby. I was looking forward to reading how the grand dads spoil the new baby.

I've been lurking around CJ forum for the last two weeks. Loved the picture of the Buick!

I remember the pain. It was the one thing about teaching I tried to avoid. I spent a small fortune buying things at a store for teachers in order to avoid anything involving making bulletin boards, learning stations and name placards.

PT Prompt #124 - Murder Dream

Love the description of the catalyst that inspired the protagonist's leap of faith! 😁 Great response to the prompt.- 16 comments

I definitely agree with your comment on sports. I coached after school sports in the US when I taught in my elementary school. When I moved here in Thailand. I also had a club after school where I got high school athletes to coach middle school students in three different sports. I did emphasize the Tae Kwon Do in my comment, because it was a catalyst that lead me to establish the clubs as well as advise parents on the positive effects of sports. My friend is reading several chapters more a day than I am. I also have another friend reading this book now. We all chat in Gary's group CotT2/Gary's Paddock. Albert and I will probably start dueling when he catches up. Dugh and I are too similar to find much to squabble over. I am going to have to catch up to Dugh now. I'm a week behind him. Getting late here and the husband is calling from bed. Signing off for the night! Terry

As a reader I might not alway tell you when I notice these kind of details. However, I will tell you now they are one of the big reasons I am a fan of your stories WolfM!

Chapter 20 Wish and Invitation
raven1 commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 20 Wish and Invitation
Sidewinder and Larkspur were tremendous journeys for me as a reader. I think others who have read those novels would readily agree. -
Such pretty blue eyes!

I have to admit that somethings about the setting were disturbing. I was aware of places like the assisted living place with the extra secure area for patients with dementia and Alzheimer's, but never got a detailed picture like this of the patience and security. It was a bit depressing. I understand that people in the work environment develop a sense of humor that sometimes seem twisted to the rest of us. To affect me this way demonstrates how well you write.

Hi Rich! I am looking forward to the new story involving the Waldron Police. They are a fun group. I like how you used the setting, actions and characters together to get me immediately hooked on the story!

Thanks Drew! It is a great improvement. 🤔 To be exact, we will hear only approximately 14.2857142857143 % of what we heard before. I would be precise, but I haven't figured out how to type the bar over repeating decimals. 😜

I feel for you. How many weeks/months have you had to endure this now?

Me too now that I got my entry fixed.

I also believe that students need to learn a martial art. It was one of my own students who taught me that. He was an average student when he took up Tae Kwon Do. The discipline, focus, philosophy and listening skills he learned changed his life. I was so impressed that I often suggested it to parents as a way they could provide support for their kids education and growth. I definitely concur with this. I am encouraged by recent attempts by the administrator to make more readers aware of the gems in GA. I hope readers will look at the blogs and forum to find archived stories as well as the new polls that publish the results. The polls are a bit of a popularity contest, but also contain some great stories that are very well written. Hi Dugh! Well spoken my friend. The whole mess developing in front of our eyes today scares the hell out of me. This chapter was fun, but really covered some serious concerns that have developed recently. Great writing Carlos.

This Monday or all Mondays? I was hoping he would limit himself to one day a year. Of course, 52 days of the year are better than everyday!

Having problems today with my computer. This turned into a triple post. I think it is time to get a new computer. It may be a Mac, but it is 11 years old. It has me spinning is circles this week.

Chapter 20 Wish and Invitation
raven1 commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 20 Wish and Invitation
Two chapters without a lament. Both poems created wonderful images. I so enjoy those images of nature you write. This reminded me of some of your descriptions in Larkspur. I'm sure all those walks you have taken in the woods around your home have inspired both the poems as well as parts of Larkspur. -
Loved the poem even if it didn't feel like a lament to me. Dogs and cats make very good companions with which to play, relax or mediate with on a rainy day in a nice cosy room.
