Just read the chapter...soooooo not happy with myself for not being able to check earlier!!! In any event, very nicely constructed chapter! It brought a lot of ends together...to be sealed soon, I'm sure! I particularly liked the way CJ handled the 'Bigot Brigade', especially the devil..oops I mean the priest! It's quite beautiful the way you always weave the characters together in such a loving way, that's noticed by all around them! If you show love, sooner or later It'll smack some of the haters into at least a modicum of reality of what it means...HOPEFULLY!! Sooo...another amazing chapter with another 'cliffy' that left us drooling again!!!!

Gary, Gary, Gary...hmmm, what can I say, except you OWN this writing thingy!!! Love this chapter and how you show off your abilities to link everything and everyone together for what I fear is going to be needed to battle the infamous Candy Craze! With the force of eight you've assembled, though it may become a messy lil fiasco, it will certainly be met with forces she has not encountered in her lifetime as of yet...the forces of LOVE, loyalty, friendship, family, and INTEGRITY!! I especially adore the way you have shown us the evolution from unreasonable, stupid hatred to understanding the dynamics of love and family in the character of Deuce's father!! What a journey...and beautifully done!! Ok....and the next chapter is coming when?? Tomorrow...no...2 days?? Oh..ok...doing that rush thing again, huh?? Can u blame me..geeeez...

I'm so used to u striking gold with every chapter...and I was sooooo NOT disappointed this time! Out of all the chapters, this one had to be dealt with, but still brought tears...geezzzzzz, real ones!! You continue to captivate and amaze us with your lovable characters and scene depictions...thanks again!! Ok....enough of that, when's our next 'hit'...

Very nice chapter!!! I'm always in awe of how you can describe a room or depict a characters' facial expressions(blushes) and emotions(anger, jealousy,etc) so vividly and with such clarity...that we are right there with them!! Another amazing chapter...another thank you for sharing the brilliance! So...2 more days...no rush!!

WOW!! Are you purposely trying to make us all 'Carlos' addicts!! Of course, in your usual manner, you've managed to insert another player into the mix...just as smooth butter...so not only are we on the edge of our chairs waiting to see what and with whom he'll interact with...we have to wonder(biting nails), about these 'concerned' parents, accompanied with their own personal 'collar'man' wanting to offer the usual 'suspect' help!!! Now....we've got to do the patient thingy, waiting a whole 6 more days!!! Addiction ain't pretty! Fabulous chapter, with a most exciting cliffhanger!!!! ...

I'm so sorry that we've hit landfall!!! Loved this story and loved the detailed wrap up in the epilogue! It gave us a little insight into possible characters for our next story, hmmm??? Very fast paced, but nicely done! Hoping that we'll get to see a little more love and affection between these two mates develop...

This is defintely an 'OMG' beginning ....omg, I hope the chief leaves skid marks on those so-called 'officers' behinds...omg, I hope Tommy is ok and still be fit to keep his livelihood...omg, I hope my heart can stand to wait for the rest of these exciting chapters!!!! Awwwww, Rex...what can I say, this chapter is like an introduction to the coming intrigue, mayhem and cliffhangers (intertwined with a lot of love, loyalty, and sensual sex) that we've grown accustomed to from your beautiful writing!! I've a feeling that good ole boy, thief, Randy is in a lot deeper than we think! Loved the way you gave us pause at the end...to remind us to keep in mind what this this story is all about....L O V E in all it's wondrous journey!!! The 'Gladys' touch was awesome...just AWESOME!

Excellent chapter!!! Worth the wait...defintely!! The build up and the defining characters leading up to the ensuing battle was marvelously handled!

Again...you've given us a vivid, inciteful look into the mind of hate-filled lunatics who would think that it's ok for them to manipulate and play with others lives...with a self righteous smirk of bigoted superiority!! Of course it would never occur to someone of Candy's ilk, that having two loving, in love gay parents is better than having her on the same planet with that baby...or anyone else for that matter!!! That being said, (WHEW!) a beautifully written chapter, difficult writing, I'm sure...but extremely well done!!

This story, from beginning to end just captured and held us in awe...from the concept of a merman, to the danger and adventure of escaping and living with a mad 'Uncle', to meeting a love and 'saviour'!!! Each of your stories takes us and our imagination into all of your characters feelings so vividly...their pain, joy, loving, confusion, anger, and ending relief!! As always, its been a ride...kinda like your own private self-made roller coaster that you've allowed us to ride...IT WAS BEYOND FABULOUS!!

Quite an extraordinary chapter that's slowly revealed a chacter thats without a moral compass, 'religiously' homophobic, narcissistic, entitled, sociopath...with the sweet name of 'Candy'!! Dare we say, you've choreographed the classic battle between good vs evil, brilliantly!!! The emergence of a 'humane', softer side of Lanny and the awakening of a beautiful, sensitive, caring Janine was handled very nicely! Sooo, let the 'Candy' beware....Bring It!! Well Gary...there you go again, batting a thousand, hitting it out of the park!!

Sooo happy to see this chapter had posted...and it is as usual, beautifully done with all the right ingredients...caring, mystery, sexy, sensuous, compassion...just everything that an awesome love story should possess!! Thanks again for sharing!

Ohhhh Rex...you've done it again!!! Great descriptive chapter in many ways, the houses, the surrounding lands, and though subtle, the personalities are also being defined more...they're learning more about each other without having conflict and tragedy as the focal point. I think it's going to get verrrrrrrrrrry interesting to see how they balance each other and still maintain their love and loyalties to each other! Another awesome chapter with looming possiblities just waiting to be explored and thrill us with Sorry to hear about your personal issues, and hope that things are better or will get better soon for you...we love you and will keep you and yours in our thoughts!!

Last two chapters...very impressed with the way you are laying the ground work for the excitement for which you are known to bring in your stories!! Great development and character introductions, yet still creating an aura of mystic of things to come...loving it!!!! You never disappoint the 'Rex' club...

So glad I got my internet back up, just so I could check for your update, first thing!!! This was such a feel good, amazing prelude to what is certain (their love) and what 'could' be in their future!! LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!! Oh geez...trust the government to come up with a 'smile' and a 'knife' (for the back) to 'help' poor Barry and to keep Dave in service!! They both should be just as livid as they seem to be, maybe more!! Enough is never enough, I suppose... This chapter was awesome, and not to worry about us waiting...we'd wait for what we know will be sooooo worth it!!!
