Quite an extraordinary chapter that's slowly revealed a chacter thats without a moral compass, 'religiously' homophobic, narcissistic, entitled, sociopath...with the sweet name of 'Candy'!! Dare we say, you've choreographed the classic battle between good vs evil, brilliantly!!! The emergence of a 'humane', softer side of Lanny and the awakening of a beautiful, sensitive, caring Janine was handled very nicely! Sooo, let the 'Candy' beware....Bring It!! Well Gary...there you go again, batting a thousand, hitting it out of the park!! -
Sooo happy to see this chapter had posted...and it is as usual, beautifully done with all the right ingredients...caring, mystery, sexy, sensuous, compassion...just everything that an awesome love story should possess!! Thanks again for sharing!

Wow...you've done it again, another thought provoking chapter, that encompasses so many different scenarios to choose from...brilliant, simply brilliant story development!!! And...I didn't have to wait!!! Can't wait for this battle-royale to commence, I think Candy has awakened a sleeping giant...or two! As always, we await 'patiently', of course, for our next riveting chapter. No rush...

Ohhhh Rex...you've done it again!!! Great descriptive chapter in many ways, the houses, the surrounding lands, and though subtle, the personalities are also being defined more...they're learning more about each other without having conflict and tragedy as the focal point. I think it's going to get verrrrrrrrrrry interesting to see how they balance each other and still maintain their love and loyalties to each other! Another awesome chapter with looming possiblities just waiting to be explored and thrill us with Sorry to hear about your personal issues, and hope that things are better or will get better soon for you...we love you and will keep you and yours in our thoughts!!

Last two chapters...very impressed with the way you are laying the ground work for the excitement for which you are known to bring in your stories!! Great development and character introductions, yet still creating an aura of mystic of things to come...loving it!!!! You never disappoint the 'Rex' club...

So glad I got my internet back up, just so I could check for your update, first thing!!! This was such a feel good, amazing prelude to what is certain (their love) and what 'could' be in their future!! LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!! But you've gotta somehow bring the guys (Greg n Jon) onto the Nawlins scene... And by the way, 'Rex the realtor'...very nice touch! Well, in case you can't tell.. this chapter...I kinda, sorta, liked a little..lol

Oh geez...trust the government to come up with a 'smile' and a 'knife' (for the back) to 'help' poor Barry and to keep Dave in service!! They both should be just as livid as they seem to be, maybe more!! Enough is never enough, I suppose... This chapter was awesome, and not to worry about us waiting...we'd wait for what we know will be sooooo worth it!!! -
Absolutely fantastic!!!! Every story you've done so far, have been 'homers'...you have an amazing ability for 'cliffhangers'...that is, us 'hanging off the cliffs waiting for more, more, more CM!! We all would be elated if you continued the Kayden/Damien Saga, with a sprinkling of Oliver/Joseph in the mix, or separate. A jealous wench looking to be queen would play right into your extraordinarily gifted writing mind...you'd more than likely blow our minds with that scenario, with maybe Oliver's controlling dad coaxing the gold-digger...that way Oli and Nash would be drawn into the mix to help....just a thought... In any case...you are awesome and thanks for the stories!

Awww...just look what love has created...from kit to lion, with compassion, bravery, independent, and the strength of mind to control it all...WOW!! A well constructed, exciting chapter that I suspect will lead us into a 'nail-biting', on the edge of our seats chapter!! Leave it to you, to give us such a vivid depiction of 'jealousy at it's best'!! Let Damien's mind torture him thinking of how is life will be, if his ultimate love never returns! Again, we applaud you on a fabulous chapter....

Loved this story! Though, because I began 'Landfall' first, it remains 'topdog'!! Both are well written, sensitive, teary, sexy entries that make them such a pleasure to read!! Fabulous chapter!! Like everyone else, I too look forward to the take down of both of these 'upstanding' citizens.. though I would love for them both to be caught, tried, and sent to the 'house of Bubba' with just rewards given to them on an hourly basis... just a 'pleasant' wish for the two!!
