Well, I had the same thought, that such a station would have to have restrooms. And I can imagine that more than two or three types of fixtures would be used. I am old enough to remember that the men's room at the courthouse in my home town had a 24 foot trough urinal, but that was before so many men were afraid of seeing other male equipment, or having another male see their equipment. The trough was slanted, so that there was a comfortable place to use it whether you were six foot tall or 3 ft tall. Thanks for the really good stories!

And another thought-- does the moon station have restrooms?

Well Done, @Geron Kees. I like this sequel as much as the original. But you have raised questions about Derry's father. In the first one, "The Odd, Onward Door," you said Derry's father died when Derry was four. In this one, you imply that either Derry's mother was not married to Derry's father, because Derry has the same last name as Mike Hamlyn dies, or else Derry's father was indeed Mike Hamlyn's son, but no longer claimed in the family, or else a series of serious kidding is going on. Will that be addressed in the next chapter or two of the Door series? Or was Derry's dad so bad that Derry's mother changed her and Derry's last names to Hamlyn? I look forward to more interaction with Nyf and Brik by the three Explorers From Earth (capitalization deliberate). And Difris? One of the most fascinating and likable characters yet created in science fiction. How about featuring a story from Cally's prevailing view in the next one or two episode?

@Ronyx Well, I for one wish you had not retired from writing. I thought your story titled "Other Sinful Things" was one of the best stories I have ever read. I am still hoping you might, someday, be inspired to write a sequel. @BlindAmbition @Timothy M @droughtquake I always appreciate your comments, and Tim, you are a favorite author here on GA. For a considerable time I lost my posting password, and could not comment for a time. Droughtquate, your comments are always insightful.

Myr, at this point I am not a GA author, (although at some time in the future I hope to be-- provided I write something worth publishing anywhere), but I am confused about the creation of genres and tags. I see that tags relate to something within the story, such as "travel" or "space" or "Antarctica." If mythical author "Qrtxm" wrote a story which featured hepatitis C, if he or she put "Hepatitis" in the tag list, would it create a new tag, or is an author limited to the tags already there? Genres are more general, as I understand at this point, and it would be more challenging to arrive at a new genre. I am guessing that the author "Qrtxm" might be able to create a new tag, but a new genre would have to be created by Gay Authors staff. Are my guesses anywhere close to right? "Qrtxm" might be able to create new tags "Canada" or "pie baking" but not a new genre of "Underwater?"

Well, Stan might have found also cartoons of Bugs Bunny or Elmer Fudd taking a shower, and no telling who else. I am also glad to see that George and John are in a smaller apartment most of the time, instead of that huge house/mansion/whatever.

And don't forget they they might see Mitch in South Carolina, as well, if they ever get to go back there. And how did the staff at Wentworth Manor react when they found out that The Wentworth men were vampires? You have not told that story yet....

Glad to see you back in the VUN universe. Any chance of Mitch showing up in New York, happening to run into Tony or Devon on the street?

Good Chapter, R. Eric. Sounds like Grandmother had far more understanding of the temperature of Makarovia than Eric did. But he is beginning to understand it. The more I see of Helga, the more I like her. But I also look forward to seeing more of VUN, as well.

I am aware of a site that will not let you use the word "index," but allows you to use the "f" word. Another site would not one use the word "gay" and was programmed to changed it to "homosexual." It was supposed to be a news site, but when a guy with the last name of Gay won a sporting event, the site looked silly with the results.... Oh, well, different rules, I guess.

I have many of the same concerns, Glen730. I can accept a spelling error if it happens oh, say, about every thousand words or less. But continual errors concern me. Also, continually mixing up your, you're, and yore, or two, to, and too, or there, their, and they're -- those make me want to pull out my hair (if I had much left, that is). One author continually misuses your and you're, and if the stories he writes were not so good, I would have given up a year ago. Another set of bothers are mixing up accept and except, and immigration and emigration. (If you don't know the difference, I can recommend using dictionary dot com). I have dyslexia (fortunately a mild case), so I can accept letters being transposed once in a while, if it is a word spell check might not catch. But I don't like it, especially if I make the mistake myself and do not catch it before posting!

I do see a slight difference with Chrome and Firefox. I have the latest updates on both, and Firefox is slightly faster than Chrome, and both are faster than Edge. But since I upgraded my internet service to 200 megabytes per second download speed there is little difference. I usually use Chrome because almost of my bookmarks are on Chrome. Until Firefox upgraded their security over the last six months, Chrome was better. I tried Safari and did not have good luck with it at all, so deleted it. I also use the Private Browsing/InPrivate modes when surfing, and I get less malware that way, even with my Internet security programming.

I have to agree with you, BHopper2. If Tolkien had not described some of his non-standard creatures, they would not be considered standard now. BUT, we do not always need an initial complete description. In a story I read some years back, three friends who were 12-year-old boys were three of the six main characters. One boy was described as thin, with fiery red hair, and nearly six feet tall, and having a father and uncles who were nearly seven feet tall.. That was an adequate description for the necessity of the story. Sometimes, "less is more."

I was very glad to see this new chapter. I read it right after it was posted, but it is almost impossible to use my phone in a speedy manner to comment. Had to wait to get to mu desktop computer. It looks like, to some extent, Aaru is realizing that his fate is tied to Tistan. Possibly Tistan sees more within Aaru than Aaru sees within himself at this point. Aaru still needs to continue learning, though, that diplomacy and politeness often accomplishes more than outright rebellion. Well done again, Gor Mu.

Looking forward to your next chapters in WHICHEVER series you post. They are all good. Since you said no crossovers, but are on a parallel/alternate Earth, I look forward to seeing a parallel/Alternate Rain Stevens showing up....
