“Settle down! Settle down, men!” Coach Harding’s voice boomed off the conference room walls. This was followed by a shrill whistle as the players took a second too long to come to order. Quiet instantly followed, and all eyes landed expectantly on the head coach. The team manager, and the Jets team captain Jordan Plummer, joined him in the front of the room. “Everyone got the memo about the leagues taking part in the Pride March this year, and we’ve already celebrated Pride Night. You all ar

I seriously went on an Apple update rant, cause this happened to me too, right when I did the update. Its ok now and I thought it righted itself, before I read this. 🤦♀️ Thanks, A, for asking. And thank you Myr for fixing it.

Sophomore Year - Chapter 9
Defiance19 commented on oat327's story chapter in Sophomore Year - Chapter 9
Hehe... Really? I think it might have started off that way, but there’s something there. Even if it doesn’t last. Remember New York? I think the guys had a depth to them there, something to start to build on. Love as you say is irrational and there’s also Becker’s fears to deal with among other things. It will be fun to see them work it out or not though... -
Sophomore Year - Chapter 9
Defiance19 commented on oat327's story chapter in Sophomore Year - Chapter 9
Excellent. This chapter hit all the right notes, captured all the right feelings. I mean this is what a breakup feels like. I hate you, I want you, comparisons to everyone, ill advised /drunk sex, ill advised drunk, but hot sexts.. Tomorrow, I wonder if Becker will regret it.. I wonder if Kevin will call this up to a moment of weakness and try to walk it back. (I will hate him) And Becker came out to Luke so quietly.. I’m wondering too, how he’s going to feel about that. They both have an interest I. Not letting the families find out, but will Luke want more hook ups? See what you did? I need more soon. Well done. -
You’re quoting Steel Magnolias!!! 😮😎. It’s a wrap. Hehehe.

The other Michael Cohen right? Not the ‘In FBI doo doo one?’ Buuutttt.......👇 In any event I think he will come to some compromise as I will counter with slander allegations. I do have a reputation, you know,..😏😘

Ah, Carlos.. today is already an emotional day, and I was holding it together....until the scarf pillow...bloody hell. The wedding was beautiful and moving and perfectly Owen and CJ......thank you for the first row seating. I experienced it all. (Harley did not disappoint..I was half expecting it) You can no longer deny the romantic in you, I don’t think. Well done, indeed! xo

The Promise is a beautifully written short story. It bears a serious theme, yet it’s engaging and funny, and it’s impossible not to fall in love along with the characters, or fall in love with Sam. We are treated to an imaginative and creative piece, as tim takes us on an unexpected journey, opens our minds and hearts and leaves us with a wonderful message. Go on, read it and see for yourself..

“....but a man driving a yellow car. What will people think?" I’d probably be (in total NYC style ) “Gahhh, that’s not a cab.. why is he driving a bloody yellow car then!” 😛 Good thing it’s Canada, hehe. Thank you, tim. I love the story of protecting the Sanctuary. The song line, ‘They took paradise and put in a parking lot.’ sprung to mind. It’s more than just that, but there are so many instances where we ruin perfectly beautiful places or spaces with no regard for habitat. Human or animal. Sometimes it may be necessary, but rarely are the displaced cared for. I think we all need to be better keepers of our Sanctuary and not worry so much about what we’d profit, but what we’d lose. Oh look, didn’t realise I’d stepped up on that box..stepping down now.. 🙈 Wonderful story, great ending.

Well, I dusted off my old robes. So I’m ready. Got plenty of tissues too.. Can’t say much about this chapter, ‘cept that I loved it. Loved having everyone in the same space. Not surprised that the twins are little wedding party people. I hope it doesn’t break Carlos’ heart when he finds out that Harley isn’t available. Great chapter, C... edit to add: Still unsettled about Brad.

Congrats, again! I actually got a ‘What’s New at Riptide’ email, opened it up and your book was front and center. So cool!

Tomorrow, Everything Changes

JT, I can only surmise that this is an absolutely necessary move. I hope that there are more positive outcomes than you anticipate. I will be wishing so for you. Stay positive yourself. Best of luck. -
The World is Not For Me
Defiance19 commented on Mikiesboy's story chapter in The World is Not For Me
Oh, tim... hugs upon hugs. -
❤️ Very well put, Carlos. It is so not a fantasy. It would be so boring if we were all the same. This is an important lesson. We definitely need to embrace our differences rather than let them set us apart and lose out on so much, including such amazing friendships.

story review Featured Story: The Lilydale Leopards
Defiance19 commented on Cia's blog entry in Gay Authors News
Great review, Tim.. It is a great series and I hope more people find their way to it. Your chapter comments/rants are legendary. Lol. I think I look forward to that almost as much as a new chapter. -
Hehe. This reminded me of one of the stories on your trip down here.(not that you had hunky ruggers or anything) I wonder what J would say to this comment. Lmao.

I keep waiting for the axe to drop.. I just feel like something huge is around the corner... good or bad, I don’t know. I have trust issues. Lol. There is really so much that Finn himself doesn’t know and is learning as he goes. Christian is a saint. He got hit with so much and is taking it in stride. I wonder still if it’s no accident that it is him! My favourite thing was Sam and the WiFi..I mean of all the human things he attached to, but it was for reading books...how awesome. And now he will teach his nephew.. Things are going as they should, which is why I’m expecting a hiccup. Can’t wait to see the twists. Wonderful, tim.

Good thing we’re on the cooler side here. Was not expecting that heatwave but it was certainly enjoyable. I have no problem if the boys want to mix it up, but still, I was holding my breath, and let it out in a woosh when CJ said stop. I’m glad that there are some things just for them, no matter how they play. It was great to see Rashid..didn’t realise I missed him around. Well done, again.

Thank you, so much.. 😊 I’m always writing, although much of it doesn’t make it to the screen. Hopefully, over the summer I will have time to work on longer pieces. I appreciate the encouragement..

Thank you, Bft. It was for the anthology so it could not be longer chapter wise, but I’m pleased you saw potential for that. I appreciate you reading this.

I get that Mason’s parents should have talked to him, especially now. I would have wanted the same from my parents. I also know me.. My kid’s in danger, threatened, I will ask for forgiveness later. If you only knew how many times I heard “you just could’ve explained /told me that.” It took me time to learn, but right or wrong, I swear I would have done it the same way. Again.. Although, I do agree with Tim that leaving Mason unprepared may come back to haunt dad. That aside, I can’t wait for Mason to join the group. I think everyone who commented so far is in the same mind about that house. Lol. Dave... It’s so great that he has the support of Charlie and the Leopards family.. Great chapter, Graeme.

You more than made up for that heart stopper first chapter, Brian . I am so happy Kevin found Mark, or rather Mark found Kevin. I totally want to believe these things happen. No way to explain how you sometimes just feel connected instantly to people you’ve never met. Great story.
