Excellent Parker. I never imagined that I would be happy for Scott. He went from no name, to TP, to Wally then Scott. Each time transforming himself and thus my opinion of him. There is much to be said about judging a person or not allowing them a chance to prove they are not or more than just who we see. You guided us perfectly through Scott's trials and now I can celebrate where he is and how far he's come.. Thank you and congrats for another great story...

And just like that I'm singing 'Janie's got a gun' except it's Ellie with a speargun. Great chapter Parker..

I'm not going to say that I'm not feeling smug right now... A great chapter Lit.. Yay, for Liam getting into school. I agree, Liam's time away did give him perspective, but he's still muddled. He needs to examine his own motivations I think.. That said, why didn't he just ask Alek along to celebrate. I like that Alek is still mindful of their boundaries though. His joy for Liam was so heartfelt.. Ahh. Nyce... Book 3? Taming Bryce or, that time Nathan discovered his wild side..

This is great.. Looking forward to Chris' perspective.

Goodness, that was simmering for ten years and no one thought to say anything sooner? I suppose if you're not expecting to see something there's no reason to find it. Well, at least they have each other now, and that's a good thing.. I liked this tim, great job..

I miss Torchwood...and Ianto... Nice one tim, still wish time travel was a thing though...

That's about how I expected Kellar to react to his Alpa title and exactly how I knew Tobyn would counter. This is huge and Tobyn knows how his mate works.. He lays it out, tells Kellar what he already knows (but his brain won't compute) and gives him time to come to it on his own. Also, noted that Kellar fully expected Tobyn there with him so he could think! These two are great. . Kellar may not realise it, but he's already been acting like the Alpha. His advice is always sought and heeded. How amazing that Kellar got that memory of his parents and his mom! Then to find out the connection with Elinor, I was even blown away. The emotional tension with Fendral was palpable. I was so relieved when Fendral came back and essentially gave himself over to Kellar. Hopefully the healing works. Curious about so much with Fendral. Great chapter Gary..

Wow.. The visit to the cemetery was something that had to be done. It a aged to give us deeper insight to Liam too. Liam gas been carrying this weight around for so long. I'm glad that he was able to shed some of that. Marty is so much more than his best friend. That bond goes beyond that and I'm glad that he's moving, so they will have each other. Al's advice to Liam was great. It still rubs me wrong when Liam says things like Alek treated him like a dirty secret. Yes, we could go on endlessly that Alek did, but that's kind of harsh. That didn't happen by itself. Probably because I believe that Alek likely did not see it that way at all, just like Liam would hardly recognize Alek's resistance to hurting his parents. Again, likely due to the fact that we now know there was an emotional disconnect between Liam and his father. I am also not defending Alek, but.. Anyway, I hope that Liam's thoughts are clearer now that he has purged so much from his system. Also, Alek did stand up to his father in the garage (with Liam eavesdropping) so I don't think Alek will allow his parents to have that kind of a hold on him again.. K, Liam? No worries.. Anyway, through thus whole beautiful but emotionally charged chapter, my biggest takeaway: Liam is going home to Alek. Whaddya mean that's not mentioned in the chapter?

Online Friends Are Family Too
Defiance19 commented on JayT's blog entry in Randomnicity (aka Jay's thoughts)
I had that Stalkerish thing going on too and the anxiety when I reached out, omg.. Now I don't even know what I was worried about although there are still times I go wow! As for the rest, I pretty much give people the benefit of the doubt and believe them until they show me otherwise. Like Gary, I trust my instincts and I feel like I made great choices here.. Now, since I can neither confirm nor deny the International Spy thing, I can tell you I'm pretty much what you get, except I cut back a lot on the potty mouth. A Lot.. Thanks JayT, well said..- 35 comments

I am betting that this won't be the only time CJ will be in the WH. If this kid doesn't make a run for President in the future, I might be surprised. Ski trip to Colorado with the Squad is the best birthday celebration. Although wherever these guys are together is fun. I'm terrible on skis but I'd do winter hikes in those Colorado mountains... I won't tell you the real reason why Sean won't be attending, but it's great that he used work as an excuse.. *wink* It may be just me, but every time I read about Ritchie, I feel like his personality could be a watered down version of Harley. Love the kid and how he's fitting right in. I noticed here that Red called JP and Tom Dads. Not sure if it's happened before, but it was cool. Also, it is sweet how all four parentals came together to make the trip possible for the kids and still spend quality time with them. Thiago needs to cut the chain and let that ball bounce.. Seriously, bye.. Fantastic chapter Carlos..

Careening Towards the Edge
Defiance19 commented on MacGreg's story chapter in Careening Towards the Edge
Yup. Curtis is rotten.. I don't think that Travis is wrong in suggesting Ben fool around some before deciding. It may be a little insulting, but he has a valid point. It's also Travis taking the lead in rejecting what they have before Ben rejects him because as much as Travis wants this, he doesn't think he's deserving of Ben and this is new for Ben. I trust Ben to know his mind and what he wants but... He's not even returning calls, not yet ready to deal with the reality. He has no idea how he'll deal so in that I don't trust him to not hurt Travis. At this point, as much as Travis has on his plate I think he's seeing the situation clearer than Ben. That said, I think there's nothing wrong with giving it an honest try. They are grown men, and I will steel myself for what ever happens.. Thanks Mac.. -
I was thinking the same, that it would be a 'Choice' for him to consider, but Marty is moving to be near him no? I think it would be a fresh start for Alek too.

Ok, caught up in time for tomorrow. Yes, Liam needed this break. Probably more than I did, but only because I'm in a hurry to get back to Alek. Yes, I'm still Team Alek. Once Liam's head clears thanks to this break, he will realise if too. Great chapters Lit..

All lovely, well written poems Val. I know Mr N well and judging from how I am when the kids play near my flower beds, I might turn out to be dome version of him. Lol.. Wipeout, I literally went 'Ouch'. Well done.

Have you met Crafting Mom? I swear this is par for the course, but we love it..

Except then he was gone, and I've been lost ever since. So, heartbreaking.. We are slowly peeling back the layers or Bailey's past, and damn if it isn't making me sad for him. I hate knowing that there's more and possibly worse things that happened. I hate that he self harms but he's surviving. I think that shows some strength to take all that he has, move schools, have his father die and essentially lose his mother too. (Plus her added stress of him living up to his father's expectations) I know he doesn't see it as strength though. I totally get his ambivalence to Declan too. Why would he want to associate with a guy like that. He's been there. Declan will have to show Bailey who he really is and I can't think how that will happen. I hope Bailey continues to let Justin be a friend because I think he'll need him. Poetic justice though, the football team kicks him off their team and they lose big time. So the gay guy who was a distraction was also carrying the team? Ha!

April 9 through April 15
Defiance19 commented on Parker Owens's story chapter in April 9 through April 15
I can't tell you exactly why I loved the poem for April 13. I read it over and over and it got inside me more each time. The offering for April 11 made me go 'mmm' and your regrets brought a touch of sadness.. Another great set of poems Parker. I thank you. -
I too am relieved. I'm so glad that Graham somehow knew where to find Scott. Which makes me wonder if and how Kenny was able to figure it out too. I feel badly that Scott had to relive all that again and see how Ted and his roommate ended up. Which makes me wonder why Kenny is so intent on a meet. It can't be good, and that has to have Scott more than a little rattled. I can't help but believe that he will have Graham's support, and even if Scott doesn't emerge completely scot-free (hehe) this is not entirely a bad thing to happen. Great chapter Parker..

Circle Upon Circle Upon Circle
Defiance19 commented on Headstall's story chapter in Circle Upon Circle Upon Circle
Chills, Gary. I got chills. Sybil's vision gave Kellar some closure. It's great that he will be able to have those memories of his parents now. Alpha huh.. No doubt he will take to this as he has everything else. After Tobyn convinces him that he does indeed belong in the spotlight, because we know how Kellar loves the attention on him.. I suppose now the Earth Mother will place Kellar and Fendral in each other's way. That connection has to be next on her list. An unimaginable reunion. You keep surprising me Gary. I love it! -
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GLITTERY Hope you have a great day!

Emotional tim, and expressive.. I was especially moved by That's Why I Cry and the last, When I am alone, that was just so momentous..

'I like my coffee black and my men hung.' Ethan is trying too hard to prove we have more in common than just Sean.. Not. gonna. break. More bonding. I do like Brett and Owen keeping track of CJ's mentions. I could almost hear the lightness of that scene. You also put me in the room. Same with the political events. I could just feel Robbie Mook's anxiety. Rubio needs to settle down.. CJ told him well. Hehe.. I like the latitude the dads give CJ to make his own decisions. It builds confidence and character which shows in the way he handles himself. It will be interesting to watch Ritchie grow under that same direction. My favorite thing: CJ's condoms in the garage.. Poor baffled Ritchie. He'll be hiding his own stash in all places soon enough. I'm glad that he's doing well coping with the deaths of his parents. That ending was great. Thanks for another fantastic chapter Carlos..
