HAPPY BIRTHDAY

I can so appreciate the art of a great cup of coffee. I'm glad that TP/Wally afforded himself this honest insight. And yes, he can learn to be something different from what he'd chosen. He is doing all the right things already it would seem. Javi, Michael and Oscar are indeed off limits. The answer to his daydream could simply be that Javi represents that deep need for what he really wants. I just hope he's smart enough to realize that and not try to act on it. A fantastic chapter Parker. I'm never sure where Wally will take us, but it's always thought provoking..

Oh my goodness Krista, this was such an excellent chapter. Beautifully executed. How about Luke's little rebellion..genius. I love seeing how He and Jackson are kind of forging their own way. There's so much they have to deal with and yet little things like this are the real meaty things that matter when it comes to them moving forward as a couple. I hope Charlie and Simon can become their friends,..well, better friends. That will help a heap. All I have to say about the swim meet, other than how you made me feel like I was there, is wth with the brothers. They would sacrifice a win for the team for a cheat? Unreal. Their parents though, and coach. I hope they realize how utterly stupid they're being. And Grace. She knows right? She has to know. Or at least suspect a lil something. I really, really enjoyed this chapter.

Great chapter Lit. A real pickle for Alex. I hope Liam calls Corey anyway. Most of what I've been thinking has been said, so I'll just wait patiently for the next!!

If Ben is feeling this out of sorts, Travis, in spite of all his bravado could not be doing much better. Bet he pulled the truck over and is bawling on the side of the road. I would.... I also wonder if like Ben said, Audra suspected that he might be gay. Her choice of words were definitely not good but it could be still part of her trying to reconcile what she may have suspected with what she might now know for sure. She knows her brother as he tells her, she knows his actor persona, and then now he's apparently been struggling with being gay. It's a lot and she's preggers. I hope she's reasonable. Bryan too. I hope it's just hurt feelings that they didn't know this about him. It's going to be a tough conversation when it happens. Talk about knowing for sure, that key card incident was a moment... An emotional chapter on all counts.

Okay a couple things. I can't figure out if Owen's teasing of CJ's love for architecture is good natured ribbing or him being all 'here we go again' assish like. It bugged me the first time he did it too. Unlike Harley who is supportive and defended CJ's passion. Which brings me to Harley. What the hell with all the innuendo surrounding him and CJ? I thought we decided they were going to bff's. I'm going to get whiplash. Also, I wonder what CJ really thinks about someone else eyeing his not boyfriend. I suppose we'll have to see if this guy befriends Owen and what develops. I guess Gramps didn't know what was coming to him. Good for Bradley, I mean he threatened to basically kill the man, but you know. CJ was solid back up and Bradley wasted no time reminding Gramps how lethal CJ is. I wonder if that's enough to stop this frivolous lawsuit. NJ landscape is unimpressive? Shocker!! Cesar and Brett.... love those guys. Another one out of the park Carlos.

I like that Daven knew he couldn't take Kian, yet still confronted him with the gun. It was cute how Kian just took it away too. Anyway they look like they may be on the run. I am so looking forward to this adventure..
-
Well, that's a direct introduction.. Daven will probably have to leave to make sure Naomi and the kids are okay.. That will really be too bad..
-
New story yay! I'm already so intrigued by Kian. Great start..moving on..

There is nothing not to love about this fairytale. It draws you in immediately with wonder and intrigue. It comes alive and the characters are engaging. It also reminds me of the fairytales when I was a kid. So well done.. Hugs to you too. xox

Chapter 41 I Tire of Me
Defiance19 commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 41 I Tire of Me
Know this circle well too, my friend. We just need to find that thing deep down and keep on moving. Onward. :hugs: -
Ryan almost can't seem to help himself as much as he wants to stay distant.. Erik on the other hand seems not to notice. In any event its going to be interesting to see how it goes.. Nice solid follow up..

Maybe this will force Alek to make some of the toughest decisions. He can choose Liam and walk away from his family. That does not necessarily mean that he has to give them up. There's always the chance that his family could surprise him or eventually come around. In the end if he feels so beholden to his family, then it doesn't matter if he s gay, straight or sideways, not until he make a choice for him. Separating who he is apart from his family.. Hopefully he doesn't lose Liam before he finds out. Also, that was better inscribed in my head.... Looking forward to their story....

Chapter 39 Healer Interrupted
Defiance19 commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 39 Healer Interrupted
So Kellar's healing abilities are becoming more advanced. It is rousing to read as it happens. Logan is a very lucky guy. He could have easily been shredded instead of healed. One does not mess with a mate especially Kellar's. Nice to see the mind speak developing so smoothly and rapidly too.. The relationship between Logan and his dad seems to be very warm and comforting in spite of Logan's troubles. That's good because it lends credence to the Logan we have been hearing about. I'm sure it goes a long way to making Kellar's feel good about helping, especially for Tilly. Nicely done as always Gary.. -
Nice, intriguing start HB.. I'm looking forward to getting to know more about Ryan and Erik. Especially Erik.. Good job..

After the whole debacle with his parents, did Wally even ever give himself a chance to form a relationship? I feel like he just launched into this person who became TP out of anger. Slowly though we are seeing pieces of whom he was. Someone who might not have been so terrible or hard edged. I still feel it was way too easy for him to just go there, and I just hope his regrets are enough to keep him from falling back. Im hoping that with all the positive and loving influences around, he allows himself to try to be that person. It's not hard to sense how much he's craving affection and Javi and his husband seem to have a lot of that.
-
I guess we will have to see what happens with the healing.. Tilly does deserve better. Who knows though if the get to the point of joining it might have a big impact.. 5 matches huh?! Can't wait to see how it all goes.. Great chapter Gary...
-
Damn, a real honest to goodness disagreement between the dads.. I'm siding with Brett on this one. Every time CJ has a blow up, it can't be always about his anger issues. At least there were no fists involved. CJ did the right thing, standing up for his friend and his beliefs. Better than the teacher who just let it happen. How do you not call Tu out in a group that's supposed to be promoting tolerance. Just wait until Cesar finds out about ignoramus Burke. He himself might want to have a go. Where the hell did he fall from. Sad thing is, guys like him exsist... I know his kind..ugh. As usual Carlos you leave us with many avenues to explore. It was a great chapter.. Can't wait for Friday..

So Cabrera does turn out to be good for Waly.. Yet another person in his corner, and someone who's seen the video. It seems that if TP/Wall can keep focus on that new start he wants, there's there are positive opportunities and friendly faces. It's not impossible for him to think he doesn't deserve it, and we don't know what's in the wings. (It's all going too smoothly) But it's within his reach and he might just have me believing he's worth the second chance. Great stuff Parker....

So we read the story if we haven't already, and then come back here on the date and time and meet with the author Mikiesboy. Then there's a Q&A related to the story. -
CSR Book Club January C S R Feature: The Pledge By Mikiesboy
Defiance19 commented on Cia's blog entry in Gay Authors News
Congrats on the feature tim... It's a great short story and I look forward to the discussion.. -
Things are looking good for TP one way, then there's a sicko to remind him that his past is never far behind. In the most unlikely place too. Will he ever outrun this or will he always have to wonder if everyone he meets saw that video.
-
Travis doesn't mean it does he? But I get it. He's been burned before and n matter how deep his feelings run protecting himself is better. Maybe Ben should leave then distance would give them clarity hopefully. I can only guess who was responsible for the photographer showing up. Another fantastic chapter...
-
Clearly, William lost his humanity along the way. Tristan was more in touch with who they were. Too bad he couldn't convince William to see it his way,or that William couldn't leave Tristan behind. I hope they did find peace in the end. Thanks for this story tim. Sure I would have liked more story, but I wasn't disappointed.
