Damn if something inside me didn't twist when Logan asked about 'his noise'. I just wanted to wrap him in a hug. How awful to have lived with that as his normal. Wonderful chapter Mac! The sunset was beautifully described. I could picture them in that moment, a shift closer to what they both want.... Travis' tears and by the time Ben said he was going to stay I was blinking away tears of my own.. I don't even want to think of the unpleasantness that may come with Travis having to pick his horse up. Thanks Mac, that was great..

Great interview.. I know The Pledge was meant to be a short story and it was so very well done. Like all you write, I thoroughly enjoyed it and of course I felt like I could read more. I loved the historical era it was set in. Definitely appreciated the research you did to make it a different Vampire story, because it really worked.. My question, did you plan on William taking that dark turn or did he surprise you as you wrote him? He certainly surprised me and I think maybe Tristan too. What's coming sounds great so I'll be looking forward to that.. Thanks. tim..

That's a loaded sentence if there ever was one. No guarantees and he shouldn't let that stop him from trying. Oh, how I hope Ben takes those words into consideration. But Travis too, is letting himself be vulnerable in that moment. What is he prepared to do, more than just showing up with sunglasses and an apology. I guess the next move will have to be Ben's so we find out.. The tension between Audra, Bryan and Ben definitely needs to go away. There are no winners here. If Audra has been trying, then Ben ought to give here the chance to maybe say the right thing or anything really. I feel like Ben does about Bryan lurking in the background. He should stop hiding behind his wife and have a conversation already..... Guys! Nicely done Mac.. Bring on the next..

CJ and Ozzie.... It is about bloody time! I am thrilled for them, but..... Don't think I didn't notice you slipped Chipper in a THREESOME? Really!! Chipper is a lot more fluid than he's letting on, and if CJ is feeling so protective of his boyfriend I doubt it may happen again. I can't wait to see how Chip deals or doesn't.. Oy! I seem to remember a long time ago suggesting Chipper and CJ riding off in Defiant leaving Owen behind. Never would I have thought they would tumble like this... Excellent Gary. The history behind the picture was informative and oh, so very interesting. Of course it did leave us with more questions. I like how you're peeling it all back so rather than throw them all at you I'll wait to see how you answer them. I'm so curious about what Kellar's parents knew.. And the hunter..they keep showing up, but so far they've been alone. I'm gussing they're so confident in their skill and silver. Is this time the exception though? Are the men heading into trouble? Then you leave us hanging with Logan.. What! You don't want to maybe gift us an early chapter do you?

Aww poor Andy.. I feel relieved for him. This felt like a flash fiction piece. Their situation had a realistic arc, and the characters interesting, identifiable and came alive on the page. Great prompt HB.

I'm probably too old to say hella hot, but it was. I was so drawn into the scene that I felt like I was there... What makes it even better is that the narrative is about so much more than just shooting a porn movie. We are still getting to know Erik and Ryan, but we can't deny their chemistry and maybe the mystery of what is yet to come makes them even hotter together. I should probably mention that I love seeing the characters develop and I look forward to seeing further development. (I promise that's not code for, more Hella Hot scenes.. )

So glad to see this update. Kevin seems more relaxed, and he alluded to that later in the chapter. I hoped that he and Becker would have been able to spend more time together, but the weekend was just great too. Drunk Carver has pegged Becker pretty well I think. It was kind of nice to have Kevin and Becker not looking over their shoulder and hiding how they feel. Whatever they have is building. The feelings are smoldering.. I mean... Boyfriends.. I'm wondering with that fleeting freedom of the weekend, how long will they want more of that. So much to wade through though, especially with Becker. I liked seeing this side of Kevin. He mentions he likes who he is in NY and it showed. In the unlikely event that they last years into the future, it's a reminder of how different their lives are, what is expected of Becker, what Kevin wants and how they bridge that divide. Have to say that even though Becker was trying to be upset about the boyfriends thing, the sex was great. I don't know that I was supposed to snort so many times, but there was some funny there too.. Totally worth the wait... Now for the next..

And what an insightful interlude. Travis is carrying a lot around with him too. I almost wish he would or could tell Katy so she could back off some. He is protecting her, but it must be like salt in a wound each time.. That tough exterior won't hold I'm supposing. If Curtis knows or even suspects how Travis is making the money for the ranch, he is more horrible than I thought. Another terrific chapter Mac. Look forward to the next..

Late to the party, but for good reason.. I may or may not have gotten Sean to wear a pink hat... That all.. Anyway, great chapter.. Loved that Burke got his ass handed to him by Cap. I await the fall out.. I find myself hating CJ's mom. It's a little bit of transference, because when my son gets involved in the smallest bit of activism, I feel so enormously proud that he's taking responsibility to speak to his future. I read this chapter with that same pride in what CJ is accomplishing and I do know it's fiction, but... I can't imagine how a mom would not want to be proud of that kind of maturity and achievement. She is so missing out, but it just made e mad.. I said i was having a moment... With all the to-do about the donations in the future, I can't imagine what CJ will have to say.. So, CJ is planning to salsa I to the future with his not boyfriend.... Awesome.. Dads Chat was awesome...

This was so very nice... Normally it would probably be Lucas who jumped in, but it says a lot that it was Joel who lost his cool. And with just a touch Lucas simmered him down. Loved that. Genderson so deserved it though.. Thanks Puppi. I enjoyed it.

And there it is... His past comes calling. In my head I was screaming for him to just run and get out of there and he did, but damage has been done. Guys like Kenny and Marquez don't just go away, especially as Kenny says they see a way to profit from Wally's misfortune.. That video will be his undoing.. Im curious to see if he shields Javi and Oscar from the truth or he tries to seek their help seeing that they know about the video. Or does he allow himself to think that he's getting what he deserves and pays the piper so to speak. I don't like feeling conflicted. On the one hand karma, on the other, he was really trying and I have a heart. I want him to reach out for help, but I'm content to see how you have him deal.. Impatient though... Well done Parker...

Nathan is sweet for checking in. A nice guy move. A welcome distraction for Liam, and he arrives just in time. However I will remain firmly in Alek's corner for now. It can't be easy for him and it's not an enviable choice. Even though they love each other Liam is justified in his handling of their situation. He definitely shouldn't have to live in a closet not of his choosing but Im interested in seeing how serious Alek is about fixing their relationship and how and if he will win Liam over again. Good stuff Lit..

At this point merging the Packs seems the best move. I like Clarence and his clear precise thinking. While I'm sure things may not go as smoothly with other pack alphas, it seems he will be a good fit for Morningstar. Hopefully his reason and calm will be useful in further negotiations. I am excited to learn the story behind that exodus. You keep layering this story with more intrigue Gary and it keeps getting better. Until next week...

Another great chapter, HB. It's fascinating how the lines between acting and real feelings are becoming slightly blurred. I'm so interested in seeing Ryan work his way through that. Erik and Ryan have chemistry for sure, but their back story is so very appealing. Looking forward to the next.
