Aw, Emi. Thank you for a lovely review. I'm glad you found it touching. -Aunt Def...that always makes me smile..

Thank you AC. I always value what you say as it means a lot to me. 2016 was dark there for a while, but the cloud lifted some.. I am lucky to have your friendship, support and help. Thanks again, for all of it.

This could have gone so wrong, but Kelly and Martin really know their friends. It had to be done. Carl was such an opportunist and poor Duncan. Who would think a friend would try to instigate and profit from his pain. I'm glad Duncan was able to see him for who he was. I hope both him and Leon learnt a valuable lesson. You managed to show well how the communication or lack of it, broke down an otherwise solid relationship. No attest hat the outcome is, it's always better to talk it out. Tall order I know! Now there's a little boy involved and they have a family. I wish them the very best as I'm sure they will do okay.. Great story Gary.. Thank you..

Well, the gang's all here.. There's so much going on and so many questions. I might ramble on, it's up to you to make sense of it.. Patrick: He is such a gentle soul. I find it curious, and not in a bad way, that he's seeking for solace in the Church/ priest. That's pretty telling for a young man. Got me wondering why and what it means for him. Bradley: so opposite from his brother. He realises the depth of the rift his grandfather caused. I think that may be affecting him in more ways than we know. While Patrick might internalise Brad is all for acting out. Mom is not completely blameless, but thankfully she woke up and not a moment too soon. It will be interesting to see how the group dynamic will affect both brothers. CJ undoubtedly will have a hand in that. Owen: I love that he's getting on with everyone. Like I said he fits. I just wonder how it will play out down the line. I see potential struggles ahead. Law school, his new friends, blending the two. That's a whole other beast. I was pretty much like CJ. Smiling away while Harley yammered on. I love that boy.. I really could have gone the whole series without ever hearing about Chip again...Still burns! Ahh... Special brownies, a bunch of randy boys. Sounds to me like a premise to an orgy great night of fun... Really great chapter Carlos..

I read Mayday's review and went hmm.. My initial reaction was that the Predator was being hunted.. Like Ted was playing with him, unnerving him giving and thereby causing this wave of desperation. After all you're desperate, you make mistakes. Mistakes get you caught. The way my mind works, it could be that the predator is in the exact circumstance Ted wants him to be in. However, I can see how he is hunting now too. What will Marc do? He's in a unique position to help or hurt..

A Coroner’s Lament Here, in this sterile place With the ones I meet Sorrow in my core is keening Every day I plead Oh heart, stand strong Amidst death, among the corpses Lying here in calm repose Are the innocent, and the indigent Titled, unknown—unclaimed Oh heart, stand strong In somber scrutiny I strive To bestow comfort, return dignity Through wavering feelings I pray For a life offended, their dreams extinguished Oh heart, stand strong On a homely crate, a gle

Brian pulled his Audi into the parking lot on the east side of his office building. He had fifteen minutes. Reasonably sure that no one would see him, he began the breathing exercises he hoped would calm his mind. It was really stupid how he needed this to act normal. Every morning for the past three months, it had been like this. The reason? One Nathaniel Graves. The man had started working at Runyan Associates, and from day one Brian had felt this immediate attraction to him. Not that Nathan

Sometimes they are the last link to the forgotten. I tried to imagine how it would feel.

Brian decides to pursue a relationship with Nate, risking the disappointment of his bigoted father. Then he finds out how much like his father he really is.

Oh... Damn if I didn't tear up too. That was some coming together.. I'm so glad Corey in his distress was still able to think rationally. Jason deserved the chance to explain and they deserved a chance to show each other they had grown to be more than their pasts. After all that, sleep is definitely overrated. Well done Lit!

Chapter 30 Family Matters
Defiance19 commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 30 Family Matters
Nice Gary.. That went better than I expected. Warren is taking everything in stride, which means that he really wants that chance for a do over and he's hoping it sticks this time. It seems by his language to not quite trust himself to live up to what anyone is expecting. or he needs someone to believe he could do it or is worth it. The instant attraction to Adelin was pretty cool and interesting.. I can't imagine that it wasn't harder to keep Tobyn seated at that table and not staking his claim. Tilly's are understandable, but no doubt her turn is coming... -
I didn't think David would be so hasty to judge Jae, and be even less forgiving. It is a dod eat dog world no? Do or you die? That's what's happening as they arm themselves to take a stand for what is theirs right. He has to realise that he might take a life he doesn't want to, but has to. Why that didn't click while Jae was explaining I don't know, but of course now with that hanging over them, Dave is out for the count. He better hope it's Jae who finds him and then make it right in a hurry.. Nice chapter tim.. I am, but I'm not looking foward to this battle..

Autumn paints a wonderfully vivid picture.. I love it.. I guess it's okay to be worried. Everyone will be waiting when you recover and you can say all over again how much they're loved..

You had me going.. I'm glad it was a dream, and oh, what a dream it was.. Nice to see the guys again..

Chuck has no reason to feel guilty, but that little bit from will Sarah spur him into some kind of action. I wonder what it will be. Seriously though, that girl will have some serious journalism chops if she keeps it up.. I guess it was ridiculous to think that with the Church and PPF gone, the followers would have miraculously been cleaned, healed, come to their senses or whatever.. They're still claiming victims.. Hopefully Shawn will be okay.. I wonder if Martha stayed in town for him, if she knew.. Nice chapter SkinnyD..

So, he wants to learn Spanish, he's having a blast with the dads and extended family. He fits. Owen fits. How can you ruin that ever.. This is why I flip flop between will it be Owen or someone else? Logically, CJ may have other loves, but then you write this and I'm all about Owen... Sigh.. I'm just glad CJ asked Owen his not boyfriend to stay.. Nice chapter Carlos..

From the first paragraph' I started to worry. A shitfaced Jackson? Then Luke is at the party? No way is this possibly going to end well. But then it did. In a most surprising and wonderful way. Lily, Toby and Derek? Could have fooled me, but I'm so glad it turned out this way. But Jackson...he is something... Loved it.. Very well done Krista..

There are things that we do even when we don't want to, in order to get by. Things that are beneath us. The predator could have had a solid formula for his pot business and kept it at that. Illegal, yes but... However, what he chose to do instead was deliberate, and criminal. I'm trying so hard not to judge him but I'm also not going to buy into his reasoning that this was getting back at his parents. So, he has to start from the bottom again. The odds against him worse this time. I happen to believe that good people at their heart, would not profit from putting someone at a disadvantage the way he did. I would find it hard to trust that person could change. So, I'm curious to see what he does next, how and if his actions change for the better going forward.. Im looking forward to the next Parker..

I was afraid of this... He should have told Luc where the heck to go... Now to catch Corey and make him believe.. Please make it better, Lit..

There had to be women and children right? But I wasn't really thinking about them. Now though with their inclusion I am a little less wary of the group. A little less because I can't help but think that even though they are here to help, at some point it may become more of a 'we out number you, so we are now in charge' type deal.. I hope it goes well...

Chapter 29 Not Such A Bad Thing
Defiance19 commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 29 Not Such A Bad Thing
I think we should join tim in a campaign for longerer chapters. This felt short.. But I loved it.. Kudos to Adelin. She is not down by any means.. I don't think Kellar could have said anything to deter her, especially the way he put it. I guess he had to try knowing Warren the way he did, but his approach needed work. And anyway, maybe meeting the person he's supposed to be with will be good for the guy. We know now, Adelin won't put up with much crap. -
Hehe Carlos... Now you understand how I feel about CJ's choices...

Great interview, Dark and Dayne...Funny too.. As a fellow educator, I feel you Dayne.. That was not a good situation to be in.. Hope it all works out soon. Not not going to lie, when I read the comments on LitE, I get all defensive when someone refers to E.P.I.C as theirs. I feel like we at GA got the lock on these boys cause Dayne is ours.. But I get it, they are a tough bunch not to get attached to. Again, this was awesome..
