Aww, I think this is going to be a very good holiday.. Friends, family, fun, love.. Order is being restored. Sure Corey still has work to do and maybe they all do in a way, but they are well on their way.. Well done Lit!

I can totally get Corey falling back on his insecurities like he did. He's felt like this practically forever and is just this side of believing that maybe change is possible. We see how much Jason has grown yet again and how much he loves Corey.. As long as they keep communication open and honest like they are, I'm sure they will get on the right footing again. Seeing a therapist is a good move.

Happy 16th birthday Tor.. If I think really hard I can almost remember what that was like.. Hope it was a blast!

Not to underscore by any means the horror of what happened to Galen, I do think that Josh too is as much a victim. I also think that he was so desperate to be loved/wanted (?) that he let himself see only what he wanted in Roger. So many people were pointing out Roger's faults and he became defensive of their relationship and just dug in deeper even though he was falling for Josh. That was perfect for Roger it seems. Now, Josh will have to sort through years of mental manipulation. He'll be wondering how many other bodies there are and how complicit he was. I don't envy the guilt and blame he will face. Liam's anger is understandable, but Jody and Alannah are understanding. That's not a bad thing necessarily. It will be interesting to see how Galen handles it all once he's out of the woods.. Great job Val!

So very late, but finally I read this. You told a beautiful story tim. Glad these two men found their way to each other again. That there was still something worth everything is so wonderful.

Oh, hello Eli. You've got it that's for sure.. Brett is a good storyteller but oh my god! Lol.. I love when you pull threads from things we take for granted or just don't think about. Like Cesar and Brett's anxiety about suddenly having a teen turn their lives around. Of course that would jangle anyone's chains. But we never really saw it from their POV cause they handled that transition so well.. So, Papa is retired. Wonder how much trouble he'll get into, even if he has the foundation to keep him busy. Things are moving, can't wait to see where we go next.. Great chapter Carlos!

Chapter 23 Comes with the Territory
Defiance19 commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 23 Comes with the Territory
Awesome Gary! Because I'm so late I'm gonna keep it short.. Plus I barely have to wait to get answers I think... like Resnik. What? Thats the biggest question, how does he know.. I want to speculate, but you've given no real clues so I'll just wait and see.. Loved that opening scene too.. I'm going to enjoy seeing the bond intensify between our guys.. -
Late, but I'm here.. Another really nice chapter. Bucket will make noise about this, but I'm not entirely joking when I say the interaction between Harley and CJ made me think of them as a couple. Hell, even Harley might object.. Yes, I'm still with Owen. I love how comfortable they are. Their relationship seems to be effortless and Harley's future planning had me smiling cause that's definitely happening.. CJ is always on point when it comes to his love and knowledge of architecture. It was nice that Harley could take the lead on this one, although I'm not entirely sure CJ didn't let him. So CJ lost the card, but I'm betting that's not the last we see of that guy. Im loving the travel Carlos..

CONGRATULATIONS VAL!! A most deserving promotion! -
Diarmad lost his ever loving mind.. I know he didn't believe a thing he said.. I know.. Ok so maybe the mating ritual wasn't by the book but all the feelings were. You can't pretend that stuff. I don't know what he's thinking, or why he's thinking it or what good he thinks it will do (Broken record here), but now I'm pretty sure that the smarmy Laird has something to do with it. This chapter made me sad, but I was happy and a little proud that Noël did not beg like he planned. Maybe he will be the one to figure this out and hopefully before its done irreparable damage. As much as I want to smack sense into D, I think of the prologue. Which is why I believe this is bigger than him and Noël, for him to sacrifice their life/love this way. I hate it, but he'd better be convincing in his explanation.

Finally... All caught up with the reading.. Why wouldn't Eli tell. There's video proof it won't reall be like he's betraying Chase. I'm almost sure that's what he's thinking. What he should be thinking is that giving up Joey will get Joey away from Chase and whatever hold Joey has on him. Obviously Eli knows he should come clean, but I suppose that would give way to a whole other can of worms he's not yet ready for. Teens make the most boneheaded decisions when they think they can control, or handle a situation themselves. Can't wait to see how this plays out..

Very, very nice.. But this is what you do so well Gary. It could easily have been a series of awkward, starts and stops between Kellar and Tobyn, but you made their intimacy so beautiful and loving and fun. It felt so them, if that makes sense. The auras, I could almost see too. Now, I know it's new and they can't get enough of each other, and I'm happy they got that out of our system. Are we going to find the bad guys now? Perfect Gary... Thanks much..

Whaat! Say it ain't so.. If either parent did that, it would be devastating for Kraig. And Park! Not to mention they were like parents to Deke, who will have to take action if they are responsible. Gosh, I agree with Deke. Who can you trust?

Poetically beautiful sunrise was perfectly described. Im betting that Lola will eventually do a whole lot more than help just Cory. Efrain may be jealous but he's doomed. And if it makes Cory smile.... Let's see how quickly Preston, Indie, and all the house guests are snowed in by Lola's charms. I absolutely love how Efrain has fallen. Now to just say it. He might be losing his man-card, but, wait..for..it... He's gaining Cory-Card.. No? I should stop you say? Kk.... Nice chapter. This note of levity is preparing us for what's coming maybe?

I will risk repeating everyone, but this was a sad, heartfelt chapter. Corey will find out just how incredible his friends are if he didn't already know. I sort of understand why he's not ready to find out which way the brothers fall, I mean you can only handle so much at a time. I'm so pray that they support him, even if not all at once. He should not have to lose them. Plus, even though Rain's family will welcome him no problem, it still kind of burns to be shut out by your own. Efrain is caught in a storm of worry, anger, relief and love.. Love wins..lol Great. chapter Dayne, excellent writing too.. I'm moving on..

Nothing against the kitties..but, dogs. All the way....

Congrats on the feature tim... and poetry too! So awesome! I agree with everyone. Reading tim's poetry is an experience which involves the heart and mind, and sometimes the funny bone as this set in the NaPoWriMo will show. Even if if you feel poetry isn't for you I urge you to read these, you won't be disappointed and you will come away with some form if satisfaction. Check out his other work too..

Well duckity, duck - duck! That is a problem indeed! I really like what you did though... Don't tell Deke..

Chapter 23 Rhyming Couplets- Curious Until the End
Defiance19 commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 23 Rhyming Couplets- Curious Until the End
Beautiful Gary... Im lucky to work in a field where why, and how come, and endless curiosity is a driving force. It keeps me curious and questioning, and never I want to lose that. At the same time, I get what you mean about looking back and wondering. I think it makes the subject of our tim's blog even more poignant.. As always your words inspire thought.. Thank you. -
I loved this chapter.. I think Harley was the perfect choice for the road trip. It's could be just the thing CJ, well both of them needed. I liked seeing this side of Harley too. More relaxed - maybe this is more of who he really is at heart than we've seen? He still talks a lot, but not the "shut up Harley" wind ups we love so much. He showed us himself.. At least that's how I saw it.. Glad he and CJ are sharing this time.. Cesar is so right, you can't buy the learning experience that CJ will be getting this summer.. I'd be jealous too if I were them.. Don't think I didn't notice Brett went commando... Great chapter Carlos...

Ok, so this chapter answered a couple of questions. D is still wrong for choosing this way to deal with whatever is going on. He may think he had no choice, but not trusting Noël and the others - not a good move. If Landyn's brother coming to stay forces Landyn and Simon off the compound, then this has to be much bigger than simply protecting Noël right. There's got to be a whole lot more that threatens them. What does Landyn's brother know, or is he part of the threat? Need to know much more.... Great chapter though Adi..
