SkinnyD, I kinda love you more for this. Thank you.. I wondered in 18 weeks if Chuck would ever meet or benefit from a relationship with Carl. I'm glad to know that he will be. If Don is going to be across the country, Chuck might need his bother's support. I'm looking forward to seeing how that develops. Do I sense that Tommy ( he will always be that) may be a little bit of a jerk. Seeing how we find out that their father never showed up, it's not hard to imagine that he could be immune to that dysfunction. He is still with Barbara, so there is that. I can't help but hope that maybe in asides, we get to hear about David and Twoey.. I am looking forward to this next leg Skinny.. Nice start..

This is such an introspective Jackson. While he is responsible for his past choices and his future, I'm just going to go ahead and credit Luke's influence for a lot of this change. Even his reflection on the kind of person he was at school and around his friends shows how far he has come. He has been steadily improving but now he has direction for the first time(?). It's like he finally gets it and I can't help but feel proud of him. That said, I really, really like how you've developed him Krista. Now that he's turned that page, I can't wait to see what's coming and where all that new outlook leads... Great chapter.

It's so true. Even if you know how you're feeling there's always that one person, when they validate that feeling can take the weight off. Elinor is super mom as it is, and Tobyn needed that confirmation and assurance from her to set things right in in mind again. I like the plan for Kellar and Tobyn to be the ones who go out. It isn't without risk because although they know the enemy, they have an edge not an advantage. We still don't know how Reznik knows/smells what he does. I'm so curious to know and I hope the guys figure it out rather than stumble upon it in a bad time. Or, maybe they will get Intel from another pack... I also think Adelin will trust what Kellar says about her mate even though she might be skeptical about his past. After all that went down with Tobyn, how could she not. It's a good thing to include her from the beginning too. It will be up to Warren to prove his worth.. Mountain man and his boss are looking very much like future leaders of the pack.. I like..

Holy... Ted really turned the tables there. Is he another predator, but with a conscience? He was really mad about the drugs or being drugged. This leaves me with so many questions about Ted though. Also wondering what will happen if Ted lets the predator go.. So many ways this can go. I can't wait.. Great Parker.

When Cory got out of that chair thinking of his brothers...oof. that hurt. I am deeply invested in the brothers supporting Cory. I can't or wont let myself imagine another outcome. I'll either be very happy or very disappointed. The deleted text is a tough one. Spur of the moment. Cory just wants to shut it all out. Not knowing is bad enough, but thinking you could have known is just as bad. I know it would drive me insane after the fact. All the what ifs ugh! For now he has Lola and Efrain.. I only hope its enough to get him through until he can deal better. Nice chapter..

Is it just me expecting too much, or was that Aussie welcome a little bit less than enthusiastic. As I type this I hear you in my head Carlos, so I kind of guess what you're going to say. But, even though they are both going to take this 'relationship' in stride, they waited this long to see each other.. Then they move right into the heavy stuff. Which by the way was delivered superbly. I love how both young men with strongly differing opinions argued their stance, without so much as dish broken.. If these two do get together they may just balance each other out or prove to be too different for each other. I kinda need all the Aussie chapters now, so I can get a read on them. I am looking forward to getting around Australia again. Lisa- I hope she will be okay and the headaches are not a precursor to a bigger issue. Great chapter Carlos. I was glad that CJ mentioned to the family how Sean played the hero.

Great review Puppilull. This is a fantastic story. It is so true that you never knew what direction the story would take. That kept me coming back and anxious for the chapters to be posted. Those long waits were brutal but so worth it. Noom surprised me the most in his character development in a good way..,

I'm happy too.. This was great. All the feels. It almost seems like destiny. They did have to grow up some, but the beginnings were all there. Sure, they had their issues but their coming to get her is as unaffected as a relationship between the two could be.. Great at job Lit. Wonderful chapter.

Ally, Ally... I see you.. And the group will be forced to take sides.. I see Luke's logic in wanting to take a break and not wanting to go to the meet, but I was half hoping he'd show up anyway. That Luke is thinking so maturely still took me by surprise, even though he's shown he is a thinking guy. I think Tony has a preconceived idea of Jackson, and so he has laid out a plan on how to treat him before getting to know him. Or he might be one of those SOB coaches who get in your face make you work for their praise. Either way we know Jackson wants this, so it will be interesting to see how their relationship develops. So, I thought I commented last chapter ugh! This is going to be xl... It was brilliant adding that twist with Warren. You had us ambivalent toward him because of his relationship with our hero, and in one chapter I'm thinking, well crap. He got a raw deal, and maybe now we will see he isn't so bad because he has to redeem himself for Adelin's and the pack.. Classic Gary.. Here is what's on my mind this chapter.. Kellar grew up outside the knowledge of pack life. He has no reason not to be wary of this new life. But, he's embraced it and for all intents has accepted his role in the future of Morningstar. Even when that means accepting Warren of all people. Then there is Tobyn who's grown up knowing what it was, seeing it change, and now, knowing how it could be again. Yet, he is the one who is jaded. Not that I blame him at all, he's seen how easy it was to lose it all or come close. One would think he'd be eager to get the pack back to what it was, after all he was willing to sacrifice. Its just an interesting dynamic. I guess Tobyn will question, Kellar will reason and that balance will lead to great things for the pack. I like that you don't hit us over the head with those nuances. I hope Warren really is looking to make a change cause Morningstar could be good for him. As always I'm enjoying seeing our guys grow closer, deepening their bond. Theres still the mystery of Reznik to deal with.. Great chapter Gary.. (End ramble)

Read it! This is such a great story! There may not be any werewolves, but you may find a Wolfie in there and he is awesome! The story is funny, sexy, moving and has smart characters who come alive on the page. That's one of my favorite things about reading it. I feel like I could be part of the action.. Cant wait for for the discussion.. Congrats on the feature Dayne!

Although in his defense everyone was pissed at LeBron. Me, not so much. I hope Thiago doesn't have to move away and break up the crew. Some things can't be helped, but i'm selfish too. This was a very nice interview and great discussion. I enjoyed reading Thaw, and then Frost. Lucas and Joel are two unforgettable characters in a story that definitely engaged our emotions. As unforgettable goes, there was also Granpa who gave us some great and funny scenes.. Tall around these were great stories.nthe way we left things off in Frost was better than good, but I'm hoping somewhere done the line we get a peek at how they're doing.. Greedy? Maybe... If there is anyone who hasn't read these yet, then go do so!

This vacation was much needed. These friends needed to be there for each other, theses conversations needed to happen. That was a great way for all of that to take place. The bond is deeper now they really trust each other and have each other's best interest at heart. Corey definitely benefits from those chats.. Just awesome Lit..
