Eli has an amazing relationship with his mom; certain she'd handle his gayness fine--but definitely knowing she'd freak when she learns that not only has Eli been into Jacob's phone, he's now about to play detective! And, I wonder how the new friendship with his classmate fits in with all of this. You've done a great job here with good dialogue, great descriptions of people and their surrounding, and you've got an intriguing plot line. And that next chapter is due...when? <grin>

Chapter 8 Sweet Summer Rain
Robert Rex commented on Headstall's story chapter in Chapter 8 Sweet Summer Rain
Really loving the natural flow of dialogue between Jared and Craig--it truly sounds like the natural conversation friends/lovers would have; playful, seductive, appropriately serious. The story's moving well, and great to see them integrate their lives together both personally and professionally. Well done! -
Nice play of tension between Luke and Allison...indicative of jealously, since they're both going after the same thing? <grin> Great job with dialogue, and you really capture Luke's depression/fear of being homeschooled. Hoping Jackson can do some magic there with his mom to get him into the classes, despite his weak protests that it'd be "akward" seeing him in the same school. Finely done writing, and the story's moving along well--looking forward to the next chapter!

The Legend of Schrodinger’s Queer
Robert Rex commented on Dayne Mora's story chapter in The Legend of Schrodinger’s Queer
Fun, fun....great dialogue, and superb stealth sex! These characters are great--would love to take our heroes out for beers. Well done! -
Yipee! Maybe Strip Truth or Dare will make 'em finally talk to each other! Delightful chapter, great dialogue, and a really nice setup for what (I hope) is going to be a solid romance. Well done!

Tough chapter. I'm really looking forward to bobby being able to express his thoughts/emotions directly with his parents. I'd originally thought it'd be great if they discovered his journal, but now think they'd react without thinking as they read it. I'm hoping Tiffany is ok, and not a victim of violence. Also hoping Colton can see the internal wrestling Bobby is doing--and can help him with it. All in all, a fine chapter, well written, with plenty of plot leads to take us forward. Good job!

I'm grateful that Toph didn't immediately jump toward a miles relationship--thankfully, Toph is smart enough to realize it's not time for that. The Christmas dinner should have been fun--more action than a Ringling Bros. event! But I'm also certain there's a back story with Steve and his family's involvement. Really looking forward to "Toph's Charge"! A well done chapter, moving the story along, tying up some loose ends, and opening up some future plot lines. You did GREAT here!

With so much going on, perhaps this chapter should have been titled, "Water Under the Bridge"! Leo stepped up to the plate to take care of his ex...and realized that he'd messed up his chance with Tait. Phill finally lets loose with his feelings, but fears the water under the bridge has passed him by, despite Tait's interests/protest to the contrary. Perhaps the best part showing "Moving On" is now Tait is ready (finally!) to go after his scumbag ex- and beat him into the ground--at least legally so. Although I'm certain Tait isn't the first one he's treated badly, so perhaps Tate's action will summon other allies. You covered a LOT of territory in just one chapter, and did it with your usual fine style. Can't wait for the next chapter!

Big stuff ahead...human trafficking is a vicious--and international--business, and Sam may be in over his head; we'll see. Even more of an immediate concern is their boy. Gonna take time to work past that--something neither of em have in abundance! Gonna be fun to see how you interweave these loose ends. Good job!

I'm like Parker, the mating dance with Jackson and Luke is underway...and looking forward to a major uptick in its intensity! Just a shame that the home schooling may throw a monkey wrench into it all. And, nice to see Jackson feeling some pride in himself and his work at the park. He'll end up with a balanced self-image by the time it's all done. Another solidly-rewarding chapter...good job!
-
Curtis has issues--maybe compensating with an uber-macho attitude to hide his own sexual issues? And Mike going along with it--what's up with that? Far more here than meets the eye! Another fine chapter...the next can't get here soon enough!
-
Just glorious! You've capture the inherent joy of their relationship and their complimentary natures perfectly. Perhaps the best lines: "We lay like that for a while, fused, whole, one; spent and delighted. An excellent start for our first morning in happily ever after." Superb!

Loved this...a great example of really good Sci-go! It focuses on telling a human story, using technology as a prop, not a primary point, of the tale. (Although I must admit, love the smart-ass AI!) Nicely done--and think this deserves its own separate story. You've done well here!
-
Absolutely, deliciously involving story, with open, direct characters and an almost fairy-tale quality to the telling. And yeah, I'm a sucker for a happy ending! You did well!

I'll be the first to say I'm normally not into fantasy genre...many times for me, so much detail is provided on this "new world" that I have been known to miss the thrust of the story. Here, though, you've provided the right balance, and raised enough questions, that I'm intrigued. (For example: What service exactly did he perform for his clan within the god's hall? Is redemption possible? Was his failure caused by his arrogance/vanity/physical problems?) A well-told tale !
-
Well done! Ryan as the unobtainable object of...what? Lust? Freedom? And Brady, the self-confident jock burying his feelings to play a role? You've shown both characters perfectly in the direct style we appreciate. Can't wait for the next chapter!
-
Incredible! A chilling glimpse into a twisted mind, with realistic characters and solid dialogue. You moved the story's plot quickly and credibly. Thoroughly spine-tingling! Breathtakingly good writing here in a well-told tale. Congratulations on producing such a great piece!

Great start to what has the potential to be an intriguing story! You've painted some interesting characters with Phillip the crotchety-shielding "elderly" food critic (Does he act elderly? He's only early 60's!) and Jeff, the complex cop who projects assurance but has a bundle of contradictions emotionally. And it's all done in the rock-solid style we appreciate from you. Can't wait for the next chapter!

Will This Day Never End?
Robert Rex commented on Robert Rex's story chapter in Will This Day Never End?
Glad ya liked, Onim! Yup, Ryan's like all of us--he's got his own demons and frustrations, including a poor body image, and an impatience to walk that's driving him. And, I got off track, schedule-wise, with this; it was at my editor's and he had a sudden trip out of town, so was late getting it back. Next time, I'll get a few chapters ahead! Sorry that it affected your..."addiction"! Glad you're following along and commenting. I appreciate you! -
Will This Day Never End?
Robert Rex commented on Robert Rex's story chapter in Will This Day Never End?
Thanks for the comments, Defiance! Yup, it was certain to be frustrating for Ryan, when he clearly wanted to be a "giving" lover to be unable to get Clayton to orgasm. After the day Ryan had, perhaps it's natural for him to be frustrated, and self-doubting of his abilities. Clayton (as you noted) instinctively knew what Ryan needed, and even combated Ryan's poor body image to make the lovemaking satisfying. Thanks for the comments on the descriptions. I really do work hard to make the place/people/events real, and I appreciate your saying that! THANK YOU for reading and commenting! -
Will This Day Never End?

Glad ya liked, Tim! Like so much that's gone on with our heroes, from first meeting to first date to first intimate encounter, it's all been memorable. And you're right--you'll hear from Clayton to finish up the night in the next chapter. I appreciate your comments and your support. THANK YOU! -
Will This Day Never End?
Robert Rex commented on Robert Rex's story chapter in Will This Day Never End?
LOL, Mike! Glad the chapter got you all cranked up! Clayton's instinctive approach was just exactly what Ryan needed after a tough day--and even with Ryan's apparent body image issues (more about that later), Clayton was able to make it a satisfying encounter for Ryan. BTW, are you in the market for a house? THANK YOU for your continued reading and support! -
Will This Day Never End?
Robert Rex commented on Robert Rex's story chapter in Will This Day Never End?
Gary, I think you got this one nailed--it was just what was needed to be able to have that kind of intimacy. Clayton instinctively recognized it, and went with it, in spite of Ryan's confusion. And, I appreciate your comments about the writing style. These characters are different, and they deserved their own approach. THANK YOU for the comments! -
Damn, damn, damn. Nice that trucker is now just a memory, and great that they get their own "honeymoon Hilton". Even better, you portrayed their nervousness, their lust, and their lovemaking in terms that show both the passion and intimacy they share. (And can't forget about hot!) Damn fine writing here! Good job!

Will This Day Never End?

Aw, Tony, glad you liked! It was a fun chapter, and more details of their evening will be in the next chapter. Plus, it's Clayton's turn to talk, so the perspective will be different. Glad you're in on this ride, and commented on it. THANK YOU for your input!
