Dmitri is quite crafty…a safe place to evade a nosy copper is the place said sleuth has just left! Assuming the best - for Talin’s sake - I can think of only one “harmless” explanation for the nighttime activities on the lake…

I’m pretty sure Kieran needs now urgently Brain, human, Vers.3.3, with extended Memory Module! He otherwise can’t keep track with every Orca, and soon possibly half the world’s animal kingdom!

Chapter 36: What's In A Name
IBEX commented on C. Henderson's story chapter in Chapter 36: What's In A Name
Hey! I’m dying here! Fast forward to Dani’s birthday! -
Happy to see you back with a new story!
-
Very dense, yet romantic chapter! I hope our boy opts for total disclosure soon!

Ä-йCliffie bad! Chapter good! I see a forced change in the offing! Guess they need another fridge for all the fresh blood for the new blood! In my ancestral home in Transylvania I’d have had Jason suffer in the dungeons to atone for his sins, then have him impaled or let him meet some other gruesome fate. But now, in a more refined society, some suggestions and mental compulsion might be all that’s needed.

Well, we learned clkap is NOT an empath! lol Such a lovely chapter, Jenny’s a gem, and Brian a sweet sap!

I must have missed a train, or two. What plan will now be implemented for measly four millions? And who gets what for 25.000 each? A year, a month? Is that for the home conversion - sounds more like a budget for a new build. And the other sum is theb “salary” for Greg’s initial retinue?
-
Where do I find the original? I’m dropping into serious withdrawal by now. So the original might tide me over J4F’s writing block

I guess Baron Evans is the ‘local’ one, James’ superior? He would be most interested about having a new fellow Baron in his Domain. Surely he’ll want a meeting rather soon! And obviously Prince George, who is already quite invested. Now, since Greg has all these amazing capabilities, and is most likely brought into this vampire world to fulfill the Prophecy, we want to learn about said prophecy!
-
Sharpening the Razor I was gifted by Mr. Occam himself - and no, it is not polite to ask my age! - I deduced a Baron doesn’t necessarily need a territory, since he has no vampires to rule over. So our boy is currently like a minister without a portfolio. I am sure a suitable job will be found for him. Charities, and Vampire social services come to mind. Greg is a bit stuck-up on not being stuck-up. I think he should respect his new, millennia old family and society a bit more, and learn a little formality and the old customs. Leonard will relax just a bit, they could meet on some middle ground! The accident sure looks like a lead up to Greg’s? first turning. Or at least attempts at mental healing efforts. (I don’t want to go as far as saying that the father as very much a side character, would be expendable for the story line. Greg loves him too much, and still needs him for guidance)
-
I rather wonder which of the friends is going to ask first to be turned….then the rest will eventually follow. None wants to be left behind!

All a bit rushed, covering about two years without much happening, or explanations. Why the secrecy? He grew up 4 ½ years on IoM, is six when starting school in Tasmania. There are 1 ½ years unaccounted for. I know the author's obsession with numbers, and measurements, so surely there's an explanation? As always big wealth and big, big yachts are involved... and a hyper-talented protagonist! I can't wait until - without yearlong training - he'll be leading an international business imperium, drive the largest yachts, and have a fluent command of at least six languages!

First Official Recording Session, Tyler the Knife, and Holidays
IBEX commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in First Official Recording Session, Tyler the Knife, and Holidays
cruel, and unusual... punishment awaits you! -
Obviously, I am concerned about the boys, their safety. I think the combination of Calvin wanting them back - however short, and for whatever purpose - and the natural curiosity of the boys, particularly Caleb's, are a most dangerous mixture to let bad things happen...

A wonderful, and riveting description of the district meet. I wonder about Aiden? Could he be in the closet still? (which makes one wonder about Matt...) It felt like he tries to get on the good side of our hero

Do You Ever Dream Of Cat Boys?
IBEX commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in Do You Ever Dream Of Cat Boys?
Now where does this sudden visual come from? I really want to know! Rusty in a gleaming Batman costume, with a gorgeous latex Black Catboy at his side, belting out show tunes at a fundraiser? Both with amazing voices, rapturing their audience, and becoming an instant hit, if a most mysterious one? -
Doctor Rusty, At Your Service
IBEX commented on Laura S. Fox's story chapter in Doctor Rusty, At Your Service
AW! Mean ole Rusty is totally adorbs! In a most cute befuddled way! And while half of the time young Master Matthew doesn't really know what's happening, with his instincts and wit he fares better than his counterpart -
March/April toward Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Panama. Then on towards Galapagos, Marquesas and Tahiti for July festival...

The Palma cathedral is commonly known as La Seu. Due to its volcanic origins the island boasts a lot of caves above ground and underwater. Plenty to explore there. Great hiking and even rock climbing there… The subtle gags like the “Gazpacho Police” will be lost to posterity, I’m afraid! After 2 years sailing around Mallorca and the Med I dropped anchor in Antigua on Xmas eve. perchance a famous author comes out for a visit aboard?

Having worked as navigational officer on super yachts, (i.e. more than 24m/80ft but nowadays certainly more than a hundred feet/30m) I know about the issues, about entitled guests....they come in different flavours, by nationalities. Most easy going are the northern and central Europeans. Brits can be a bit snobby, but mostly vera amicable as well. Americans are famous for their entitled Karens (and Kens!) Russians vary greatly, between sober and drunk, Arabs like to totally ignore staff with an air of absolute superiority....enough of poor generalisations! But one often gets the idea that certain stereotypes and preconceptions might have roots in reality.... Like our dear Carlos so beautifully described, charters are usually booked through brokers. Detailed questionnaires, having been filled out by the guests, will be forwarded to the ship with an APA - advance provisioning Allowance. A downpayment for food and drinks to be bought at the guests directions. These will be ordered through agents. The agent in any given port is available 24/7 for any, and everything. taxi, provisions, tickets, tours, green times, decorations, whatever goods and services are needed. Like 100 white roses at 3:40am to make up again after a little domestic spat...you get the idea. Kids are not a rare occurance, and are often looked after more by the crew than their parents... The stove is gimballed, so cooking is of course possible at an angle of heel. But all surfaces like salon or dining tables are also inclined, so one tries to sail as upright as possible during meal times, or serve finger food. I love how Carlos always perfectly sets the mood and the cast!
