"...as kneecaps bent the opposite way..." I am sure I misunderstood...but in all animals, particularly canines, the knees bend the same way as in humans. They are only higher up, since the femur tends to be shorter. What looks like a knee backwards is the heel. Man buns ARE an abomination! And no, no one EVER looked sexy with one. So it is a big NO! First time I rode a 1250GS BMW was in the Smoky Mountains, along the BRP and down the Devil's Tail, or whatever that nice bendy road was called. Bro, that bike rode all by itself....I was just there to enjoy the scenery, hairpins or not! Amazing what a modern layout and drive can do!

Nope, I went back all the way to Ch 5 when the boys first came a knocking on the door - no mentioning of any horses so far. Only that they recognised the smell of horses in the old barn when shown around by our mysterious young doctor

It's not easy to drive a carriage, and horses need a lot of training for pulling too. I can imagine the boys might be handy to source suitable drafts, but you still need them brought over and well trained for city traffic...

I just want to state that not all SM activities are abuse or a sign of mental disorder/instability/traume and such. I am well aware the line can be thin and blurred at times. But living in that scene for decades, I'd say that abusive and criminal activities are the absolute minority. Most players adhere to safe and consensual - if often painful, yes - practises. Those on a self destructive path obviously should gently guided towards professional help

Obviously, the chapters need to be longerer... Kalian's affection is no longer unrequited, Talon is officially in the game now. Mallex is weaving a fool proof, multilayered plan to make the boy his, quickly and under the eyes of the king. Will the queen play a part? How will he try to get rid of Talon? I wish Talon sparring on school grounds will be shielded from spying eyes...

Four lost and to varying degrees traumatized souls, dancing around each other, none really knowing how to deal with each other, or with the glimpses of deeper secrets that pop up here and there. We know nothing about Eon, even less about his sister - she currently seems to play no role in this dance and clandestine fighting. The intrigue Lex can spin at court - he already laid so much of the groundwork, much is being assumed about Kalian and his position, his relationship with Mallex. I hope Tyren can reel talon in for special training, before Lex manages to get him expelled or worse from the capital....

I love the style and pace of your writing. I feel at home in the dark, Talon seems like an old friend. Good of him to guide the lost little Lordling...I cannot imagine Talon being bad, as in truly evil

Just a note: Singapore is not Malaria country. Although Dengue fever is a bother there currently. In most European countries a title is nothing of public interest Not a paltry Baron, Count or Earl anyway. Her Princes and junior members of Royal or even Imperial houses move freely, never bothered by the media, and the general public has nominierest whatsoever. Other than juicy scandals in the yellow press, you don‘t ever hear or see them, they go about their daily lives unencumbered...school, university, professional environments. No one bats an eyelid upon introduction.....Might be something very exciting in Wa though, I wouldn‘t know...
