Well, not completely. He hasn't disowned Todd.

With Todd's lack of background, he needs to have someone who can fairly price the art work he turns out.

You have to toot your own horn and Todd does a poor job of it by accentuating what his father sees as underperformimg, like the bit about his minimum wage job. He just set the stage for what followed.

Anthony actually backing Todd up was a pleasant surprise. Todd didn't do himself any favors by omitting the fact he was getting offers for commissions for his art work. Cold hard money you can live off of makes it not a hobby.

The art show turned out well for Todd and Anthony's reaction was emotional, but positive. Todd has a start on his artistic career, but it will be a slow process. Todd has experienced how devastating jealousy can be, but can he learn from it? These secrets, like hiding from Anthony, trouble me.
