    Ninyani is an outgoing boy. He will get along well in this new environment. From the sound of the bells it seems the Messiah's rage has begun.

    It's curious the Messiahs have established such high opinions of themselves. Their powers are limited to strength and semi-invincablity. If we place it in an ancient context, the Messiahs would only rank as demigods in the nature of Hercules or Achilles and the Shifts have godlike powers like those of Zeus or Apollo.

    If you really want to antagonize hornets, swat their nest. Beyond the thrill they are getting from the act of killing, they really desire a widespread conflict between Shifts and Messiahs. This is going to get ugly. I have to say it isn't terribly bright for them to be addressing each other by name during an attack. Someone may hear and their biggest advantage would be gone.

    I think we all can imagine Ninyani's future. He'll need to be careful about burning up dance floors. It's unfortunate for the village they need to leave so rapidly. Ilya could go and find Crystal dragon bones to solve their problem. I hope there are no issues before they leave.

    I don't know if it was intentional or subconscious, but two of the boy's antagonists are named after penile appendages. One is apparently small.

    I wonder if Tualu was the mechanical shift captured by the Messiahs? It would explain his aid. None of these murders were peaceful. The victims were horrendously aware as they died in agony. We are already aware some Messiahs are good. Some decide to leave their groups. How many good ones will die or change their minds about leaving due to these attacks? All actions have unintended consequences.

    Oh my. Everyone knows what is going on except Beckett. Now Beckett and Parallax seem to have merged, but to what purpose? I don't think Beckett's family would take well to a cat in his place.
