  1. Yes, those and the big wax lips. It's also used on fruit and some chocolate treats.
  2. Some forms are edible and most have eaten it in some form.

    Chapter 1

Yes, one of those gizmos would be handy
  4. Ninyani has gone to what must be for him Wonderland. It's hard to contemplate casually walking past the Messiah's Tower, especially after their recent attack. I wonder if it's the target.
  5. Some things change, but Gulf Wax seems eternal.

    Chapter 6

I would have at least scored some fries. Jase and Lucas are meant to be together. There's no other reason his power is useless against him.

    Chapter 6

You know who isn't just in Florida, but Naples How's that for irony?

    Chapter 5

How did they track Lucas and Macy to the urgent care? Were they watching or monitoring the police band?

    Chapter 4

Jase seems more bemused than disturbed about his power to compell not working with Lucas. These scenes are described so vividly it's easy to picture.
  10. Not sure how much help Dozi can provide the watch as a human. Ilya could be very useful as an eye in the sky.

    Chapter 3

We've flashed ahead seven years from the last chapter. How many souls has Jase saved by this time? Squatters murdered amidst decrepit splendor. Was it a thrill kill or with a purpose? Killing up close with a knife is very personal and violent. The comment Macy made about the urgent care wasn't much like a seven year old. She's an unusual child.

    Chapter 2

From the pieces we've been given, I get the feeling Jase was repurposed and set on this task to redeem himself. He instinctually avoids both the police and hospital. Is it to avoid being thrust back into his former life and deter him from his task or is his past life unsavory? There is a higher power at work here, but what? The lives he affects will alter the future in a positive way.

    Chapter 1

It's an intriguing beginning. His positioning on the bench in the park seems deliberate and meeting two people in a large city right off who are determined to help an unknown vagabond is very surreal. You've captured the anxiety of awaking not having memories well. The biggest horror is remembering the words to a Brittney Spears song, but not his own name or even what he looks like. That's scary.
  14. It had underpinnings when it was torn down and that fits the definition of a pier.
  15. Oddly, the naming of La Grange, TX has no Spanish or Mexican connection. It was named for the Marquis Lafayette's home, Château de la Grange-Bléneau, in his honor.
  16. I think of ZZ Top's La Grange.
  17. S'Kay has become a fanatic and Gawa is an eager follower. She's headed on a reckless path. Despite their luck so far, they've left clues behind in the method of deaths and the Messiahs know they are dealing with a group of three. Just being seen moving around together will be dangerous for them and unwitting innocents. Eroli is the only one with a modicum of conscience or caution.
  18. @ZombieBy the time Orwell wrote about it in 1937, the pier had been demolished.
  19. I had noticed many tributes on a British film site earlier today.

    Chapter 5

The place where Beckett was taken seems very real. Beckett could still feel the cold and pain. He got a lot of information on what was not happening. The most disturbing tidbit was Beckett not being as human as he thinks he is or was. Small task. Find my stolen star, the fundament of power for the embodiment of the Cosmos. Naturally, a cat would be the center of everything.
  25. The new ones use hardly any at all.
