    I hope our fingernails hold out until next week. What keeps going through my mind is skinwalkers live a long time, unless something happens.

    The two families had a good time over the July Fourth holiday with a lot of activities packed into a short time. I hope Devin knows what he's doing by interfering in this fracus at the diner. You can never tell for certain how those disputes will go.

    He wouldn't use his claws. He only clawed me once. We had taken him to the vet for shots. I had him in my arms and he stuck his claws into my chest and naturally I let go of him. He ran into the brush behind the building and wouldn't come back. I was devastated. He was gone for four weeks and one day he came walking around the corner of the house like he had never been gone. No idea how he found his way home.

    If he was a skin walker, he could be hard to find or easy. I'm sure he'd still recognize Issac even after all these years. If he wasn't a skinwalker or died in some mishap, did he teach Isaac some secret recognition sign so another shaman or tribal skinwalker would trust him? This chapter was a lot of fun.

    Mac had trouble getting to sleep. Who wouldn't? Many things he thought were hard truths were fiction. The modern world has made concealing their secret harder. The last thing they need is some government discovering the secret.

    I don't handle rude well. If the semi-friendly creatures here are camouflaged and hard to see, what does it say about the safety of the environment?
