One thing I'm fanatical about is having plenty of gas in the tank. They never get below a quarter of a tank. My mother was terrible about remembering to have the cars gassed up. I can't count the number of times she ran out of gas or locked her keys in a car. It left a permanent impression.

I'm more discriminating about where I order oysters since a three day ordeal of acute food poisoning.

She was already showing signs of resisting control when she arrived outside, plus Swift wasn't precise with his command. He told her to shoot her friend, not to shoot Jase. Swift always put himself out there as a friend.

Well, that sucks. Jase has both the power and the ultimate temptation. The big question is where did Phillip get the you can't heal anyone else rule and is it valid here. It's not like Jase has an official rule book.

The light bulb comes alight and Swift is revealed as the knawing feeling Jase has had. What has he been doing to Macy? From his description, he didn't strike me as someone who would have the size twelve footprints outside the condo.

They always make the mistake of underestimating Kalien.

It would explain a lot of what's been going on. One little blip there. He seemed to be affected by Jase's power at the station. Did he sense it and put on an act?

"There are no coincidences." It does beg the question, Phillip is there to talk to Jase just when he's needed. Does the mission ever truly end? Knowing they have counterparts with similar powers is a disturbing idea. It does cast a different light on the difficulties he's facing with this last task.

Telling his story would have to be cathartic and it should deepen their connection. The original meaning of lam is to beat and Mark Twain was the first to use it.

If these people will assault a police station, they are capable of anything. I'm not entirely convinced the condo is safe.

Ninyani has gone to what must be for him Wonderland. It's hard to contemplate casually walking past the Messiah's Tower, especially after their recent attack. I wonder if it's the target. -
