The touchdown play against the Bobcats was epic and so vivid. It was the ultimate icebreaker with the team. With an entire football team having your back, why worry about Dickie and his cronies? The whole Greg and June bug thing came as a blindside to everyone, but was so obvious once it was thought out. I don't think it'll take a month for Greg to figure it all out.

So much for an idyllic reunion with her family and friends. She had no clue how bigoted they were. It's unfortunate and sad. At least Dozi didn't bring her friends to her former home. -
I hate to impose the guy on anyone, but Dickie and Carla? What an aroma those two could make.

All this time I've wondered about Marc's parents source of income. It has to be some type of non-profit. Now don't get me wrong, there are many wonderful and selfless people helping disadvantaged people. Jonathan is not one of them. He violated the primary rules of decency by not raising and caring for his own son. He has a bad case of savior syndrome.

Since this is a voluntary gift, it could go directly to the charity in May's name to deprive Jonathan of the glory.

Jonathan is such an unmitigated ass. He deserved nothing at all for the years of neglect. Marc is a saint. "That's Bruce Banner, and I think you just made him angry." That was a scream.

Keep in mind Geron lives in New York State. I've heard this type of inflection a lot. Most of it depends on the neighborhood you live in. You speak what you hear every day.

It seems the story Ninyani's mother told him about her friend's daughter didn't sink in or he's still in shock. Good thing Ilya has thermal immunity or she'd be dead. Dozi may be close to her wish of becoming more than human since Ninyani has the old man's mantis gland. Time for a seek and destroy mission against these creatures taking children. -
I mentioned in an earlier chapter that the brother's names were flip-flopped if you go by the traits of Tom and Huck.

But which nickname did he give to which boy? Did he go by name or their nature? We may never know.

From the adrenaline high of the discovery to the crash of knowing this will be the end between him and his parents. No matter how old you are, a child still craves love and affirmation from parents.

I'm happy the tensions between the brothers is beginning to thaw and Finn suddenly has an entirely different view of his grandfather. I have a feeling the will is not too far away.

My suspicions about the lawyer turned out to be accurate. Now why do I think finding the will won't be as easy as it might seem?

Actually, if a will is challenged, everything is frozen until it's settled in court and it can take a long time.

The hidden gem in this chapter is that Finn and Sawyer's grandfather was a lawyer. I believe we have who drafted the new will and where it might be.

Gut punch. I've always viewed fighting over the estate of the dead with great distaste. Thank God I'm an only child and all of my father's side of the family are too well mannered to be litigious. Why would May use a different lawyer for the updated will?
