Another well written chapter...touching and sad. I hope Micah doesn't have to make that sad trip to see Casey.
The bright spot in Micah's life now is David and his response to Micah's call.
IMPOSSIBILITIES 1) You can't count your hair. 2) You can't wash your eyes with soap. 3) You can't breathe through your nose when your tongue is out. Put your tongue back in your mouth, you look stupid.
So true. More than once, I've started to respond to someone's erroneous comment before I realized that they have read one less chapter than I have. It's even harder when the later chapter has been delayed. Patience is important for me for a different reason.
I did not accuse anyone if cheating. I only encouraged picture posters to try to cover their tracks That now appears to be a fruitless exercise. It is the participants' decision to play fair or not.
TinEye? Cool!
I really like the story, Rec, but this chapter is certainly disturbing. I agree with Joann that Micah needs a wake up call. Hopefully Casey has provided that and David will be the safety net.
OK. This Google Images thing is making a mockery of our little exercise. When you post a challenge, you need to run your picture through Photobucket or some other site (Google has one, of course) where you change the name of the image. It's sort of like money laundering.
Thanks to all who are participating. We now have 313 posts in this thread. Wow!
My comments weren't directed at any one person. There are a lot of us having a problem with the patience thing just now. Our patience will be rewarded.
Patience is a virtue.
Patience is the state of endurance under difficult circumstances, which can mean persevering in the face of delay or provocation without acting on annoyance/anger in a negative way; or exhibiting forbearance when under strain, especially when faced with longer-term difficulties. Patience is the level of endurance one can take before negativity. It is also used to refer to the character trait of being steadfast.
You can read an interesting article about the Scopes trial at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scopes_Trial.
For our next challenge, the monkey is on Podga's back (pun intended).
