I liked this; it’s insistent and compelling.

    GMA XXI

Parker Owens commented on Carlos Hazday's story chapter in GMA XXI

Oh, I think Spencer got his spectacular New Year's Eve, all right. Whew! I doubt I could keep up with Owen and CJ. I'd want an 18-hour sleep flight home just to recover. But what a great way to spend time with our favorite gang. Thanks for all the wonderful scenes in this chapter.

    Love your ingenuity!

Good morning, everyone. Misty mysterious kind of rain this morning. Spooked a heron down by the creek on my walk...

Ryan is lucky to be able to break from his Dad and Mum. He has good reason to, and he’s discovering his own real family now.

    Belonging

Parker Owens commented on Thorn Wilde's story chapter in Belonging

You touch a place in my memory and heart with this. You capture my frequent sense of understanding the world.

Oh, kiss Azrael again, Diego. I loved what happened when you did it the first time. I’m looking forward to the awards ceremony.

    Suspicion

Parker Owens commented on Wayne Gray's story chapter in Suspicion

Plenty happened in this chapter: Beecher speaks from beyond the grave. The sheriff is made aware of where things stand. And Caleb is Wren’s comfort. Their bond is growing. Thanks for another excellent read!

Thank you for reading these. I’m glad you liked the poem about the hill. It’s response to spring is ever beautiful.

Thank you, Adi. I’m particularly happy you liked my uncertain poem on Herr Heisenberg. It was my first thought on the prompt about uncertainty. I’d very much like to borrow that broom you speak of! Thank you so much for reading these, and for letting them strike notes and chords with you.

You know me well enough to have found the poem that dwells so close to my heart. That old coat doesn’t get out much anymore, but I know its feel and heft intimately. This month worked for me, but I can anticipate that year when I’d prefer to do as you have done. You surely produced a gem the other morning. thanks and hugs - P

I’m very grateful you took time to read this last batch for April. That coat in April 27 is getting a little tight and worn, but I’m keeping it. Thank you very much for your response!

I’m very happy to learn a new phrase: soul piece. How wonderful to be able to write about the uncertainty principle in poetry. I hope it gave the essence of Heisenberg’s statement. You and I both love the spring. Thanks so much for reading these and responding to them.

Such a difficult snapshot of these lives. And probably truer to life than much of what is read, I fear.

Thank you, Gary. You're really kind in your response to this installment and to all the earlier poems in this collection. It makes me smile that you can hear my voice speaking in each one.

Thank you for teaching us how to build Skyscrapers, and for making poetry come alive for me again. I enjoy writing in the form, and it gladdens me to know these have begun to fill your original intent. Your reactions to April 26 and 28's sonnets are so very kind. I'm very happy you thought the prelude worked.

Thank you, Val! I’m especially happy you liked my 31st. I hope you don’t mind I doubled up on the 26th. I’m very grateful you read these, and thanks for your encouragement.

I really enjoyed reading these responses. As a justifiably neglected musician, I know how much music and art can infuse themselves in one's writing. @Thorn Wilde's work is always thought provoking. The questions posed brought this out. It was great to see new author @Wayne Gray included too. Thanks again for this feature!

April 22 Not silence is not a commotion nor is not quietude restlessness; it isn’t either all or none of these I feel, not measured words and cold argument, nor reverberations of the heart. April 23 The hill is colored in uncertainty; every tree blushes in spring fashions, and shy woodland flowers are coaxed from cold ground onto the forest floor to dance; yet every pink bud and each new green leaf looks over i

Good morning, everyone! @Thorn Wilde, please, did you save me a wee dram?

I can relate to how this feels. You’ve rendered it really well in this poem.

I enjoyed your finale to April. Poem 29 really hit me, forced me to read it several times. Poem 26 tickled my senses; I felt the cool, saw the colors, smelled the grass and earth. That was lovely. Poem 28 made me smile. And of course, Poem 30 is an awesome note to oneself. Thanks for all your encouragement .
