Starting over and taking things slowly must be intensely difficult for both Liam and Alek. Their firsts are really seconds in some ways, yet they are also paradoxically new experiences. They will not be able to help comparing, I fear. On the other hand, it is wonderful the way you paint this picture of Liam and Alek being happy together, comfortable together, and perhaps admitting that it is good and safe to commit to one another. There is plenty of delightful tension the time around, too. Everyone wants Liam to be happy, and perhaps that's true for Alek, too - though we don't get to see things through his eyes much. Thanks for a great chapter.

I am deeply sorry for having missed responding to this. Thanks so much for this comment. Andy's experience of success and love has taken roots and wings. In this case, he is flying. Monica's cheers from the stands mean at least as much as Kaz's congratulations. He is changed past his own recognition as Kaz points out. And the promise of uncharted new territory- even if it's territory he wants to explore - will make Andy anxious.

A lot of fun is had by man in graphing f(x) is tan. Cartesian, polar, using e, or even parametrically, the periodic tangent rules, that's why it's taught in all our schools.
