    Passion

Feel free to edit me, to change my tense verbs, rearrange my prepositions and nouns; but let us now connect by conjunction superlatively joined, a bond none can delete.
  2. We use these in my classes...we call them "math calisthenics."
  3. Three incredibly powerful lines in this: you know to whom you belong... ...your strength a source of pride... ...your place is here, always. I can see and feel the power of the connection between you and your beloved.
  4. You write so simply and yet you tell us so much. Your strength and resolve are admirable.

    Ablution

It is one of the most delightful pleasures I know. Thanks for your lovely comment, and for reading...
  6. You loved, and were loved. And I think you are right; we cannot help but fight. Is it that we love, too? I only know that it hurts to watch, as you have done. Hugs and thanks.

    Exploration

Thank you so much for reading and commenting. Time stretches out, then compresses - it's so like that.

    Anticipation

Yes. So very many feels. Hope you sensed them all.

    Anticipation

The hope was to catch that moment, that instant when all anticipating becomes fulfillment. Thanks for reading.
  10. I celebrate with you. There is joy in this for me.

    Possession

Your secret smile makes me smile, too. So very glad you enjoyed this. You are kind and generous to read and comment on this latest Spice on the menu.

    Cravings

Your point in this poem is well taken. The untouched life is a dry, withered, stunted thing. This is a critical point to make in our digital and virtual age.

    Admission

I hope the censors don't get wind of this collection. Thank you for reading and for your thoughtful comments.

    Possession

Thank you, tim. You have no idea how encouraging your comments are. Choosing words so carefully inevitably leads me to doubt whether I made the right decisions sometimes. Many thanks, again.

    Possession

Your words are immensely kind. If you see the wonder and passion in this, then perhaps this succeeded. Many, many thanks for your kindness in reading these.

Something like this is better than sugary breakfast cereal, isn't it? The flavors are intense indeed. Glad you enjoyed it!

You have again characterized a poem from the collection well. Such scents remain with us forever. Many thanks for taking the time to read this.

    Possession

In some ways, this poem started the whole collection. It is amazing how so few words can say so much. I really appreciate your generous and thoughtful comments.

A most delightful combination of spices. But let's not forget the chilies...thanks again for reading!

Anoint my warm body with your finest essence, heated, exciting, redolent of you; come to my deepest and most sacred space I invite your bold touch, make me into your own.
  21. This was fun and enchanting. I enjoyed it very much.
  22. You write an enormously powerful poem here. Taste your words before you spit them out. What a perfect line. It should be posted on every classroom door, but then we'd miss the next line - consider the impact of their flavor. This is the marvelous core to this poem. Digital screens turned into masks...more awesome images. This poem is a must read.

    Burden

You are a true and wonderful friend. Your poem shows the depth of your heart, and the wealth of your kindness and capacity for love.

    Chapter 24

Agree with Dugh. Bryce has more weight and depth now. And it shows Liam at his best, recovered from so much of what has hurt him that he can be a help to his friends. Thank you for this scene; it was worth the detour.

    Admission

You make me blush. That is high praise, and I am grateful to you for it. There were many good metaphors to play with here, though. I hope this one helped the Spice Rack live up to its name.
