  1. I send you a deep and heartfelt hug for what you felt you had to do, and then another for the pain and hurt you endure. But most of all, I wish you peace and healing for the cry of hurt this poem conveys all too well. You write so effectively, so clearly, and the ache comes right through.

    Lonely

Why is it that you have a knack for writing words I felt years ago, or feel now? You connect me to powerful moments in my life when all I could do was watch other people enjoy, love, and laugh, all while I wondered why I could not do the same. Bravo to your younger self for its eloquence.

    Chapter 6

Fate may not be Adrian at all, but Marty being there to help Zac understand himself. Adrian may be Kenny's fate. Imagine that. Nice chapter, esp. Lonnie and Billy. Thank you.
  4. You just made an old man blush. Thanks! I am very glad you liked these. The stars are endlessly inspiring, but so are the various scientific and mathematical ideas that permeate our everyday lives. At least, it seems that way to me....

    Chapter 25

I am taken with how happy domesticity seems to agree with Jason and Corey. You write their admission of desire for each other from their early years so very naturally. Corey's therapy must be paying off, as he used the 'trust' word freely and easily. They seem so very happy, and that makes me happy, too. Thank you.
  6. I am so happy you enjoyed these. Gravity was amusing to write, and it make me glad you chuckled, too. Thanks for reading and leaving a note!
  7. According to Newton, mind you. Then the attraction is proportional to your squares...or squarely in your proportions....or something...in any event, I am very glad you liked these. I hoped they would evoke and convoke images to get your heart rate up a little. Too soon for dragons to hibernate for winter...
  8. So glad you liked these. Perhaps if I watched my weight a little less, I'd be more attractive...or have more gravitas, perhaps...thanks for reading and leaving your remarks!
  9. Newton would be glad of that . And your comment on Music is very kind. Inspiration from the stars is easier when one gets up as doggone early as I seem to...thanks so much for reading these.
  10. Music of the Spheres The stars were high when I awoke, Orion hunted, Lyra spoke, and while the earth slept hushed and still, King Cephas held his good queen's cloak. Now as they pass in their quadrille, accomp'nied by the whippoorwill, Cassiopeia slowly turns in time with every mournful trill. The dance celestial, soon one learns, continues, though the star that burns could yet have died not long before when dinosaurs stomped through the ferns. Now light through space is faster, more tha

Well, then, let this begin your anticipation. Thanks for beginning this story....
  12. Liked these both! The first was delightful fun, and the second connected with me, as it did with AC. Well done!

    Chapter 5

I agree with Puppi - want to know what Rachel told Alisa who told Kenny...but Kenny must be also gauging Zac's reactions, too. The pieces will be put together, and then there will have to be a reckoning. But will Zac ever really have a good time to discuss it, or will he try to bury the whole thing? Looking forward to more...
  14. As Tobyn and Kellar deepen their mutual trust, their love and faith will fan out in the pack...there's the energy they're talking about. Now let their hope in Warren be realized, and the whole world will start shifting for the pack...wonderful chapter! Of course, I want more!

    On the Prowl

I am very glad you chose to take up this story. It is hard to know exactly what Ted knew or thought, but we know what happened. The predator clearly understood Ted would not be an easy mark - not a nervous youngster who could perhaps be flattered or propelled into sex. Glad you thought this a good introduction. More is coming this week!
  16. Self doubt and self loathing are cancers, corrosive to the soul. As a fellow sufferer, I can attest to the hurt and ache your words recall to my mind. Your words have a power in them. You tell me about these things far too well. Do not believe that voice that tears you down; it lies, and lies damnably.
  17. This is a stunning poem, and the metaphors you employ are vivid and beautifully written. The sadness is palpable, and the last line is perfectly marvelous, even in its bitterness. So very wonderful.

You have my thanks for picking up this story. And you are right, the swap has no explanation. Fortunately, there are more chapters! Karma is certainly present, though. I hope the story is worthwhile as you progress through it. Again, my thanks!

    Early July

I have to be quick, and that is a great pity. I love how Toph is getting to the core of his insecurities, how he could face Steve and protease to face his mother. And I love how you create and convey Gary and Toph's continuing, deepening love. The acceptance letter was just plain icing, and while we knew it was coming, it is still so very satisfying. many, many thanks...

Thank you for sharing the kind of internal questioning you face with us so poetically. Your questions, your speculations, are mine, too; I've asked the same ones. But you do it so much more style than I. Thanks again.

    On the Prowl

So many questions. No answers from me, though...sorry about that. There will be more in TheHe coming week...hang on. Thanks so much for picking up this story; I hope you find it worth your while.

    On the Prowl

How glad I am you chose to pick up this story. I hope it will hold your interest. So what happened with Ted? It isn't clear, is it? But the outcome is...the tables turned, and the predator passed out. Did Ted finish watching the hockey game? There will be more next week. Thanks so much for your review and remarks.
  23. Thank you for the link to this Gary. This is deep dark and powerful, like Niagara in the gorge. I think it moving and fierce.

You saw it coming, I suppose. But the predator did not. I am glad you are intrigued!
