I’m sure glad they were able to outsmart the Australian authorities, and that Lewis is safe and out of the reach of Australia. I think Sebastian is planning to have Lewis away from the yacht so that he would not be working but also he would be available if Sebastian wanted to do something with him. Great chapter, although I believe there’s more to come between Lewis and the Australian GOVT.

I agree that the Australian authorities have nothing better to do than harass Lewis, even though he no longer has any security clearances since he went from regular Navy to the reserves. I don’t think if it were me I wouldn’t go anywhere with them until they could get their facts straight or produced the proper arrest warrant. Lewis has every right to travel wherever he wants to especially now that he doesn’t have the Australian Government Security Clearance anymore. I’m glad that Mr Wagner had the lawyer come to the yacht to help Lewis, it seems like he’s going to be in need of one very soon the way the Australian Federal Police are going about things. Great chapter as usual, I’m really enjoying the story. I can’t wait to see what happens next for Lewis.

I was surprised that Lewis got the promotion to Bosun of the yacht, although I’m not surprised that he got it. If you have a job like Bosun your duties are the out side areas of the boat that means that if you have a schedule for a certain area to be cleaned or whatever that means you be there on time and ready to work. In a lead position you have to set the example for your crew members that way they know what’s expected of them. I’m glad that Lewis set the example by calling all of the deck hands and informed them that he was the new Bosun and that they needed to get the customers luggage stowed in their staterooms and then they had to do something else. Lewis made sure he did his share of the work as well as his crew mates. I hope that Lewis enjoys the opportunity to work with this crew for a long while, if he chooses to stay on through the end of the charter season. Great chapter as always.

It seems that Mr Wagner doesn’t permit discrimination from anyone in his employ. Two members of the crew have already been terminated from his yacht for discriminatory remarks, they weren’t too happy about losing their jobs but at least the rest of the crew members are now aware that he won’t tolerate discrimination at all, no matter what kind. I also wonder how it will take for Lewis to get promoted on the yacht crew? The Captain, First Officer, Peter & Melinda all know the full background as much is available to the public for Lewis. I understand that a lot of the information about his work for the Australian Navy is classified top secrect and only those who have a top secret clearance can get the full version of the work that Lewis did while in the Navy. The way Peter introduced Lewis to the captain was priceless, because he stood up and stated that he would like to introduce Commander Lewis Shaw, CVO, VC, DSC, Former Adminstator of the Chagos Archipelago and Royal Australian Navy Officer. I think the captain is very impressed by the information he has received because it matched the information the first mate handed him. Great chapter as well.

I think it’s great that Lewis started to get board with being on his own for the first time in a long time, he decided he would see if there was any crew positions on a charter yacht that he could get work on for awhile. While he was having some lunch in the hotel restaurant Lewis happened to overhear a gentleman’s phone call and that he was looking for more crew members for his charter yacht. When Lewis spoke to the gentleman about the position on his crew he might be able to get, the man then told him to get his resume and meet him in the lounge and he would look over his resume and he might be hired if he likes what’s in his resume. As it turns out the captain is very impressed by his resume and his qualifications he hires him and then tells Lewis where to go to and the time he is to be there. After the tour of the yacht from 3rd deckie Charlie, Lewis had gone back to his cabin to store his luggage and as he exited he ran into Peter who it so happens he and Melinda are both crew members also. Charlie comes to find Lewis to inform him that all of the crew is wanted by the captain in the main lounge, Charlie mentioned that Lewis had met the 2nd engineer and Lewis told him that they were old friends.

I’m really loving this story. I wonder what prompted Lewis’s decision to resign after only 15 months. I can understand that he is wanting to relax more but he has always stuck by his responsibilities no matter what he was doing. I thought it was funny that he had Jeremy doing a search for the new government of Diego Garcia, then when he found what Lewis told him about he just about flipped. I hope that Lewis will make a surprise visit to see his family especially since he hasn’t seen any of them since he put Mitch on the plane for Perth after they got away from Christmas Island. That was a year and a half ago. This is a great bunch of characters in this story and it all just flows well with the way the story is going at the time.

It would appear that they’ve gotten to the point that they were waiting for so that they can start kicking ass and taking names. Kohen struck the first blow in this battle but if you really stop and look at the situation from his perspective they struck the first blow by trying to have him kidnaped or dissected so they could use something out of him to use as an explosive. I wish them luck in locating the one behind it all.

I think it came as quite a shock to Lewis when he first read the letter informing him of his new duties and the promotion to Commander from Lt. Commander as well as being appointed to the position of Administator of the Territory of the Chagos Archipelago and Deputy Administrator of the Australian Indian Ocean Territories based at Diego Garcia. After he fell on his ass while wanting to sit down on a bench that wasn’t there Melinda found him a few moments later and asked why he was on his back, he informed her that it was a very important letter. He said that he would explain things once he gets a few things cleared up. Before Lewis was even fully in the cab his phone rang the person on the other end said that a boat would be at the main jetty when he got there, explaining that he was expected immediately aboard the main frigget anchored in the harbor. While on the boat going to where he was going he noticed there were 7 Australian Navy Vessels anchored in the harbor. Once on board the ship he was first taken to a place on the ship at which time he was given two more medals after that he was taken to a conference room where he was given more information about his new assignment. After he finished there he was taken back to the yacht to explain his new assignment as much as he could explaining that he wouldn’t be able to continue the journey to the last port in Australia that they were going to. He also said that he couldn’t tell them anything more about his new assignment due to security reasons and he then went to get the rest of his belongings from his cabin. I look forward to reading more about Lewis and his new assignment.

I think it’s great that the British and Australian governments are working together on the same issue. I will say that the imbargo against Indonesia is overdue, in my opinion it should have happened shortly after Christmas Island was taken over. I hope this working on the yacht works out for Lewis as I feel like he’s gotten a lot of headaches from the stress he has been under while he was supposed to be on leave while he heals from the IED that blew up when the vehicle he was in drove over the area. The job he has on the yacht is a fairly simple job, and Lewis doesn’t seem to mind the work.

I think it’s great that Lewis got the two new medals for not only his service in Afghanistan but his service on Christmas Island as well. I do agree with the comment that Mitch should be able to get a plaque or a medal of his own for being a fifteen year old boy who got stuck behind enemy lines when he and his uncle were kept hostage basically by the Palestinian and Malaysian troops on the island just to force the island inhabitants to mine the ore so that it could be taken to their countries for processing. I’m glad that Lewis and Mitch were able to get away from the island before they were captured or worse made to fight in the conflict more than they already had. I think it’s great that Lewis has the opportunity to see what it’s like to work on a yacht for the weekend while he’s still on leave which is why he was on the island in the first place. Great chapter in an all around great story.

I can’t believe they’re in the middle of an invasion of hostile forces. At least Lewis has the proper training so he knows what to do in order to not be caught. I’m glad Lewis was able to get his cell phone into the camp without any of the guards noticing and that it was caught by one of the locals who are being held in the camp by the hostile forces. He’ll need to get back to the treehouse before daylight in order to keep himself from being caught and then the hostiles will find the treehouse and then Mitch. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

I’ll agree with everyone else in saying I wouldn’t want to be in a treehouse during a cyclone. I love the idea of the treehouse with it having the necessities for staying in it for any length of time. At least Lewis and Mitch will have supplies to use while they’re in the treehouse. I think it’s great that Lewis is teaching Mitch to scuba dive, or at least he was before the cyclone watch started and they had to move to the treehouse. I’m glad that Jeremy has left instructions that his staff won’t need to go check on Lewis and Mitch stating he has made arrangements for a boat to pick them up in the event of a cyclone watch/warning. Great story so far, looking forward to reading more of it. Thanks for writing the story.

At least right now we know there isn’t going to be a raid by the FBI or anyone else, that’s not to say that an investigation could be conducted by other agencies if they feel it’s warranted. I’m very happy that the FBI led by Ruben Chance along with 4 other agents came to Holms Labratory in a friendly way to learn the location of Agent Theo Taylor, after speaking with George, Colin and Devon, and them being informed that Theo was a rogue Agent. Theo has worked as hired gun for agencies such as the FBI, NSA, and the CIA, he was presumed dead. Ruben came to the VUN as Devon started calling it to relay the information about Theo and to see if they might know where Theo was so that Ruben and the 4 other agents could take Theo into custody on several charges including murder. When George, Colin and Devon learned that they had no reason to deny the request. They won’t have to hear anymore slanderous statements from Theo now that he’s been arrested by the FBI. Betty and Gabby can come home now that Theo is no longer a threat.

I think that Fran is being tricked into thinking that the glow she saw come out of the ceiling is her mom when it’s actually the way that whoever is behind the seers coming up missing is getting to each of the seers and giving them some kind of story to get them to leave. I hope that Meg, Kitryn and Simon or any of them see Fran talking to whoever or whatever this entity is and can get Fran away from it before any real harm can be done. After hearing Simon tell how he was able to get away from the comune and then following his moms instructions he went to the cabin she told him about. Then after running out of supplies he started going from town to town and just happened to see his parents pictures in the paper saying that they had been found dead and that they were identified through their dental records. After that he just kept going until he set up camp in the mountains and the vampire who bit him came into his camp saying he was lost asking for directions to the nearest town. I hope that Carl is able to help Simon with what he needs to know about being a vampire now.

Wow, it seems like a bit of a long sad story leading up to the time when Simon was bit and he began his crossover. I agree that the vampire who did the actual bite is not going to be a vampire for long once Carl hears the whole story of Simon’s life up to the point of his crossover. I have a feeling that both Carl and Kitryn are going to be shocked by the story of Simon’s life just based on what he said about Kitryn hearing about his life before, it’s almost like he has something that he’s ashamed of or he feels like he’s done something unthinkable. We’ll have to see what he says in the next chapter or two. Great story.

I hope that this Vamipre Elder Zane will be able to answer any questions Simon might have about being a vampire. I’m waiting to see if Simon and Kitryn will become something more than friends. If everyone around them can see it they should realize it themselves and they should try to see what comes out of them being together as more than friends. I’m sorry that it’s taken me so long to get back to the story but I was occupied with another story for awhile.

I agree with you that kittens claws are sharper than Ginsu knives. I’m fostering two litters of kittens right now,one of 6 and the other one is 5 kittens. The five haven’t had the opportunity to claw my legs the way the litter of 6 did. I’m glad that the kits are able to be kits for awhile.

Justin’s going to have to get into the mindset that he needs to gain the mindset that he has to get the situation to bend the way he needs it to and not just try to control it. What the Jeweler is trying to do is get Justin to get his mind working the right way so that he can help those who he is supposed to be helping. I’m sure there’s more to the training than Justin’s going through right now. I hope that Taryn doesn’t have to die for Justin to fulfill the prophecy of the mimic.

Even as Justin and Taryn were trying to get away from the madness that they were in the middle of after the meeting with Fallen and Eric. The first wave was cut down inside the warehouse and the second wave attacked them on the dock as they were trying to get away. I hope that Justin can take the second wave of soldiers on his own as they seem to wind up with more as soon as he takes out ten of them the soldiers send in that many if not more. Justin needs to try to maintain control of the rage that’s fighting to get out, the only way for it to happen Justin has to let go of his control and just let the rage go off on the soldiers. If Justin lets go he can get the control back then he and Taryn can get away from the warehouse. Once Doc has a chance to look at the information that Eric gave to Justin on the memory stick he’ll be able to tell everyone what’s being said about Justin between the Jeweler and others who are all sharing information amongst themselves. Justin is going to be better off going to meet with the Jeweler so he can get the help he needs to be able to tell others about the Dawn.

It seems that Alec is going to have a lot of time to heal if he ever does. At least Justin is able to get away for now, the whole group is going to need to feed soon so that they can heal quicker. I know with the extent of their injuries and the blood they lost it’s going to be a long period of healing even with Bryson’s healing extra. The one I really feel bad for is Dylan after he was stabbed in the heart which is a fatal wound for a vampire. Even if Dylan was able to feed it wouldn’t be of any help. Dion is going to hurt the most because of what happened to Dylan, after they finally got to get together and have spent some quality time together. Justin’s going to suffer for Dylan as well because he’ll blame himself for what happened to all of his friends. Now he’s going to have Richie to look after as well.

Wow you really know how to keep your audience interested in the story, with Justin and Taryn possibly going to be back together as a couple, to Doc, Trevor, Michael, Taryn and Justin finding out that the Jeweler is communicating with other vampires about the mimic and the prophecy’s all using a supposedly dead vampire language. If I were Doc I would definitely be trying to get in touch with the Fallen. I hope they can get some answers soon about the language that is being used by the Jeweler and the others who are talking about the mimic and the Dawn. I wish them all the luck in the world with this.

In addition to my comment from July 13, Justin has to really think about what he’s doing and not doing to maintain his sanity. If he doesn’t try to get some help he’ll lose everything he’s gained since his crossover. I think the one that can help him right now is the Jeweler, he just needs to get around his ego first and stop thinking he’s gaining control of his extras. Since Comicality is unavailable to be of further assistance the Jeweler is the only choice left. I hope that Justin and Taryn are able to start opening up with each other about their fears as well as what their hiding about their lives before the crossover. I can’t wait to read the rest of the story and I’m sure it’s just as intense as it has been to now.

Taryn’s going through some real emotional stuff right now all because his brother Alec showed up with the intention of giving Taryn the same experience he had to deal with after he was taken home. It seems like their step dad found a new beating post and a sex slave as well. This was all because Taryn had no way to help Alec get away from their step dad without causing them an awful lot of misery because Taryn had run out of money which is what they needed the most in order to survive the streets.. Taryn had tried to protect Alec until he ran way short on money then when Trevor found them his offer offer of help was for Taryn alone not both of them. Taryn needs to find a way to tell Justin to about his previous life and Justin would tell him the whole story of his life. Justin also needs to tell Taryn about what he's feeling when he goes into his thoughts and tunes everyone and everything out. If they would find a way to communicate with each other then they might be able to get more out of their relationship than they have now which is quite a lot of love for each other. Justin could have probably killed Alec if he had any other option from Taryn to spare him. As much damage as Alec has caused he would have deserved to be put out of his misery and yet Taryn wanted him left alive which is what Justin did. I hope that at some point Justin can find a way to release the anger he holds from his life. Great story, I never know if it’s going to be a love scene or a bloodbath, which ever it is I’m hooked on it.

I don’t think the others know what to think or say anymore to Justin because he just keeps absorbing more extras and he has know that he has them or how to use them. I believe that he is using one of the many extras he has as well as the tips he got from Comicality about the foot prints to track the movement of Rage while he was in the club. Poor Justin is being reveared by the vampires he saw at the pier, he was blocked from leaving the pier by them all, then once they started kneeling down is when the security guards saw this and started to interfere. Dion thought going to the club might be a good idea because Justin might be able to blend in there, which would get him out of the public eye for awhile. Trevor better start watching how far he pushes somebody to far and he gets the shit knocked out of him for it. Bryson keeps telling him to dial it back before he gets really hurt Justin’s in just the right mood to know him off of his high horse once and for all.

This chapter was a very intense one. What Justin had to do in order to get to Taryn to save him was very justified in the fact that Soren shouldn’t have kidnapped Taryn in the first place. I hope that Justin doesn’t get any more emotional with himself or feel that what he did was wrong. I know that Justin is feeling very bad about what kind of hell he unleashed while trying to get to Taryn. I don’t think that Taryn is going to be holding Justin accountable for the destruction that he left in his wake. Taryn right away started apologizing for being kidnapped by Soren and his goons. I hope that the others at the lot are going to not try to attack him because with the guilt he feels on his own is enough to cause him to start to doubt himself and his ability’s. Thanks for writing this amazing story, I wish I could write as good as everyone else on Gay Authors. I can’t even come up with a good idea for a story much less write one.
