Another great chapter. I think Andy might be right about Justin being followed. How else would Taryn know that Justin had finally met up with and caught Chad, how would Gyro know that Justin had gone to the lake and met Taryn there. It sure seems awfully strange that Bryson and everyone else says that Justin's such a great addition to their little family but yet it's like they don't trust him. I think it might all be related to the fact that Justin's extras are showing a lot sooner than the rest of the families did when they crossed over. That's another thing Justin's crossing over seems accelerated for some reason. I'm glad that Justin finally got to meet Comicality and has been told that he would see him again soon just not when or where. It was weird that Comicality turned out to be an alien and he provoked Justin enough to see what kind of extras he has and then also to see what happens when he gets pissed off. I hope that Justin can tell Taryn about the meeting with Comicality and that he says that he needs more training and that he shouldn't allow his anger to get the better of him. I hope that Justin finds out why Bryson is going behind his back and having everyone spy on him.

Another great chapter. I'm glad that Gres is getting stronger as more time goes by. I know he was sad to see Hugh leave but I think Hugh will be back for another visit and maybe even bring everyone else along as well. I'm not sure that running away with the circus is a good idea for Gres or Tom. I hope that Gres doesn't think to much about joining the circus as they're both needed at the island. I'm glad that the eco camping is doing so well and the plants and trees are flourishing. It appears that everything has done well without Gres having to oversee everything that's being done. I still think Gres is needed for planning of anything else that's built on the island. I hope that there won't be any major set backs in Gres's recuperation because I think he's already had enough of them.

Another great chapter. I agree that the diary entries by Taryn says a lot about the secrets that are being kept from Justin including a very mysterious secret of what Bryson's doing either to or because of Justin. Comicality is making it very hard for Justin to find him. I wonder what Tim will find out from Becca and Char after the examination they did of Justin. The main thing they saw was that Justin was tormented more and more until he snapped and then beat the crap out of this kid that sat behind him and proceeded to tease and torment him daily. When Justin was out to learn how to feed and who he should feed on, Trevor said he wanted Justin to teach him to read the mind of whom ever he wanted to. Trevor had images of Taryn and him in some of the most provocative positions around and also that he had a terrible childhood and the reason behind it. Trevor supposedly had been beaten and raped for a few years by his parents. I don't trust Trevor as I think he's after a lot more than just having Justin show him how to use his extra. I hope that something happens to Trevor and soon just make sure that Justin is no where around when it happens. I know it may hurt Michael to not have Trevor around but I think it would be for the better of the whole family. I wonder what that creature was that materialised behind Justin when he left Tim's, it just showed up out of a dark mist.

Another great chapter. I hope that Justin will be safe and adapt to being a vampire. I hope that tomorrow he'll be able to feed like he needs to in order to stay with Taryn and the rest of the family. I hope that Tim will be able to help Justin to figure out what he's becoming, he said that Justin would definitely be a mind reader and a mimic as well. Justin was supposed to be back at Tim's last night but he decided to go with Taryn to try to feed. Justin was just about to feed on one of the two men Taryn told him that they would be perfect for the taking. I think if Justin's mind reading ability weren't so strong he would have been able to go ahead and feed, I think what stopped him was what he saw once he went a bit deeper with his scan. Justin has tonight left if he doesn't feed tonight then he'll have to go it alone and possibly be dead soon as he won't feed. I truly hope he doesn't chicken out tonight and feeds early then he and Taryn can go to Tim's together.

I agree with Chris this was an amazing chapter. I'm glad that Gres is finally out of the hospital and after staying at Sam's apartment where he stayed with Hugh there. It appears that Gres still hasn't told Hugh that he owns the island where the eco camping takes place along with two other islands as well. So when Sam is informed of this fact he jumped into action and informed Bryce that Hugh hasn't been told the reason behind Gres saying that he is a veterinary nurse and has been working with the eco tents. This way they would be ready for their guests to arrive on the island. I hope that everything goes well when they arrive at the island, and I hope that Gres will come around and tell Hugh the truth about what his role is with the eco tents.

Another great chapter and I agree that the story does get better and better with every chapter. I hope that this visit from Hugh will do what Sam hopes it will. It seems like as soon as Gres gets close to get to where he's only a few days from getting out of the hospital he has another set back. I hope that Hugh can cheer Gres up enough to allow him to be released from the hospital. I think with Hugh there Sam will be able to concentrate on his work and not so much on Gres, I know that Sam will still worry some just not quite as much. I think it's a little funny that Hugh's family forgot to tell him that Sam was a federal magistrate, then he arrives at the airport expecting Sam to pick him up. Once Hugh arrived he saw a gentleman in a dark suit holding up a sign with his name on it, he was told that everything was alright and that he must've not been told. I hope that another chapter will be out soon.

Another great chapter. It appears that Justin is going to be a chosen one because he can already mind read which is very early in the reawakening. I hope that he's just as excited about the next step in the reawakening to the life of a vampire. It happened to just come out of nowhere, the emptiness that he was feeling. Taryn went to get Bryson to explain what was happening to him. After Bryson was done explaining to Justin what he needs to do. Justin struck out with the mind reading ability and it was strong enough to cause a severe headache causing Bryson to double over holding both sides of his head which gave Justin the opportunity to escape from the lot. After running for a while he found himself sitting on the steps of a subway station. After sitting there for awhile as he was crying and that's where Trevor found him. It took a few more minutes before Justin went with Trevor and they went to the same club where they went right after Justin was introduced to the others, where he learned that they hung out there quite a bit. After getting that information Trevor said he wanted to dance with Justin after a few drinks they got on the dance floor and started moving to the music. After they left they went to the same building that they went to after Justin started being able to hear the thoughts of those around him. I hope that Justin will be safe when he finally gets to meet comicality.

Another great chapter. I hope that Artie's plan starts to work and that Adam either calls or texts Mason soon. I think it's stupid that Bradley was trying to get Adam to ship Artie back to Texas. The way I see it Bradley was jealous of Artie because he had the nerve to call Artie baggage. That statement was the last straw in Adam's hat as far as Adam was concerned he would tell Bradley that there was no way that he would send Artie back to Texas to live a miserable life with his grandparents. I feel bad for bad for Adam but he was right to speak up and tell Bradley that he hadn't called or texted or even came by to see if Adam was alright after getting back from attending the funeral of his sister. I think it's great that after Artie took Adam out to eat that when they got home Adam told Artie that he wouldn't send him back to Texas now no matter what, and that no guy would come between them. I'm glad that Dizzy has strong feelings for Artie and that he was going to meet Dizzy's mom when he comes over for dinner on Friday. It seems like Artie and Dizzy are becoming a more cohesive couple and that they were both looking forward to the next level of the relationship as neither one of the boys is in it just for the sex. I hope that they get the opportunity to explore the sexual part of the relationship if they so desire. I don't see either one saying that it's over after they decided to go to the next level. I'm glad that Lindsay was able to get to Adam and she was able to get Adam to see what Bradley was really like and that he wasn't right for him. I can't wait to read what happens next.

Another great chapter I agree that if you were to continue this story I would be one of the many who would read more about the trials and tribulations of Gres and family and friends. I hope that Hugh's visit will be enough to cheer Gres up as Bryce and Tom can't be there much due to the work load of the eco camping on the island. Sam is very busy with him being a federal magistrate, I'm not surprised by the fact that he doesn't have a lot of time to be at the hospital. I hope that Gres will be able to take Hugh to the island while he's there and he can see what Gres does for a living.

Another great chapter. I'm glad that Gres is back in Australia and is in a private hospital. I hope that The stroke, seizures and blockage in Gres's brain resolve themselves soon. It appears that Gres got the worst end of the deal from the accident he was in on his 1st day in Canada. It kinda surprised Gres when he woke up and Sam was sitting beside his bed when he asked what Sam was doing in Canada he was told that they had him flown to Adelaide last week. Gres was also told that Tom and Bryce would be back as they had gone to eat. The next time Gres woke up he saw Tom sitting on his bed when he asked if Tom had been being good he said that he had then he told Gres "I love you dad". Gres then talked to Bryce about the island and was told that everything was doing well and that they had guests for the last 6 weeks. I'm glad that Mrs Atherton has settled in and changed her days off to Sunday afternoon to Tuesday afternoon in order to be on the island while the guests are. Although she spends most of Tuesday's getting the food supplies set up to be taken to the dock between 3 and 4 pm so that their loaded and stored on the hovercraft before the guests arrive to go to the island at 5:30pm. I can't wait to read what happens next.

Another great chapter. I hope that Everett, Kohen and the rest of the crew are all safe and uninjured after the ship was fired apon. I hope that all of the aliens from the boarding party have been caught including those who are not affected by the gravity of the ship. I can't wait to read what happens next.

Great start to a very interesting story. This story even in the first 3 chapters has it all from sadness, despair, anguish, happiness and love. I think it's very well written with a lot of thought put into each sentence, paragraph and chapter. I like how Taryn's journal told of watching Justin for many months and how he first felt sadness for Justin and then over time he grew to love him. Even though Taryn swore that he would never turn another human being to the life he has now but as his love for Justin grew he thought this would be his only turn. By watching Justin for the length of time he did the more he figured out that Justin was a very troubled young man. I feel bad for Justin because he grew up being hated by other kids that he'd gone to school with most of them since he started school. Somewhere along the way Justin found a very good friend who he called his best friend but that didn't last as his friend developed cancer and started deteriorating in health and the last time he saw his friend in the hospital would be the last time he saw him. After meeting Taryn for the 1st time Justin stayed at the dock and watched the sunrise for the 1st time and then went to school only to be put down by the teacher for being 4 minutes late for class, then he starts getting hit with spit balls over and over. When Justin asked to go to the restroom he was told no and that he would have to wait until the teacher was done explaining something that was on the blackboard and also would have to wait until the homework assignment was given. After that Justin was tormented more and then when he couldn't take anymore he jumped up knocking over his desk and chair then proceeded to beat the kid that sat behind him after being pulled off the kid by the teacher he was sent to the principal's office where he was given a lecture on the conduct that he was supposed to have in school after which he was suspended for a few days. Justin was never given the opportunity to tell his side of the story and on top of that the principal called his mom and then his mom yelled at him for getting suspended and then she proceeded to get drunk as usual. The last day of his suspension he went to see his friend in the hospital and even though his friend tried to make light of his condition, on the way home Justin was almost home when a cars headlights came up behind him and then the car stopped just ahead of him and then the boy he beat up and 4 of his buddies got out and proceeded to beat and kick him all over. After that Justin went in his house with torn clothes, bloody and bruised all over his mom asked how his day was then asked him to help her to bed. Anyway after everything else Justin went back to the dock determined to end it all, only to be stopped by Taryn who said he had broken their deal but that he would break his end of the deal as well and help Justin. Taryn told him to help him understand why he wanted to kill himself so Justin told him everything and afterwards he asked Justin if his mom worked and Justin said she did. Taryn told him to go home and then after his mom left for work to pack whatever he thought was important to him and then to meet him at the address on the card he gives Justin after sunset. When Justin went to the old wrecking yard he was startled by a guy who popped up behind him and the guy was ready to beat him up only to be stopped by Taryn who told the other boy that he asked Justin to come there. Justin found out that all of the kids Taryn introduced him to were all vampires. Taryn told him to take one last day and make sure that this is what he really wanted. When Justin returned to the junk yard he and Taryn went into the van one of the other boys was fixing up where they started kissing and then they laid side by side and then told each other about themselves after which they started kissing again and it got very heated and they took each other's shirts off and then started grinding their hips into the other and then Taryn told Justin to count down from 5 and when he got to zero he should be starting his orgasm at which time Taryn would bite him.

Another great chapter. I'm sad that this is the end of book 2 but I'm glad that the story will go on. I think it's great that Alex is trying to make a peaceful existence for everyone instead of just the Nabians. Alex has already started to make an alliance with the Tomacian people by marrying the Prince of Tomacia, this way he can get easy access to the people of Tomacia. I hope that Jared is able to put aside the order from his sister to kill the newest general of Nabian. I think it's great that they can have a conversation about the way he did. I can't wait to start reading book 3.

Another great chapter. I hope that Gres will recuperate quickly so that he could get back home. I'll bet that Tom and everyone else is really worried about Gres especially since they were unaware of the fact that he'd left to Canada for a short holiday. Although the short holiday turned into a major ordeal since he was in the accident and has been unconscious for 5 1/2 weeks. Now that he has received the call from Sam hopefully the information will be passed on so that they could relax. I'm glad that Hugh's dad is a barrister and knows who Sam is and got the information about Gres being in the hospital and his condition.

Another great chapter. I'm glad that Kris let Lydia, Unn and Lorant about the security features of the house are so that they can try to plan a good enough idea of how they're going to get into the house to make the rescue. I think it might be wise to have one of the rescue party get captured in order to gain access to the house. I hope that with Kris's directions they can make it without any problems or any of them captured besides the decoy.

I agree with the comment about Gres being drunk when the decision was made to travel to Alberta Canada. When he had sobered up some he decided to continue his holiday and agreed to wait until they got back to Alberta to call and tell the guys that he was taking a 2-3 week holiday. I hope that no major issues come up on the island while he's away on holiday. Although I'm sure that Bryce will act as the island manager for Gres and Tom until Gres returns. It's a good thing that Gres met with Sam on Sunday night and was able to get the changes made that he wanted to. I wonder if the island will be transferred to the trust that Gres set up for Tom if something were to happen while he was on holiday. Great chapter in the story, I love the way the story is going at this time.

Another great chapter. I hope that Mrs Atherton accepts the housekeeping position where she even might be able to help the boys with their studies. I think it's great that the island has a few of the Australian animals and that Gres is keeping them in mind with what he has built on the island. I love the idea of the main house is built to fit within the limestone caverns on the island. I think the extension of the main house is going to be great as they need the rooms for not only Mrs Atherton if she accepts the job but also for Jack, and his 2 adult son's as well as Jacob. There is a room set aside for Sam as well for when he comes to get away from the daily grind of being a lawyer. It looks like they'll be ready to accept guests again soon, with all the work being done by Jack and his sons as well as a few of the others when possible. I hope that they'll get a steady stream of guests to keep the eco tents full a lot of the time. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Great chapter. It appears that everything is going well on the island and that they're getting a lot of reservations for people to stay on the island. The boys are in uniforms every time they go to do housekeeping or even check on the guests. The guests seem to like the fact that they only have to fend for themselves for lunch and dinner unless they choose to get the bbq meal kit for an additional cost. I think it's great that the guests have a radio to use in case of emergency, by going to the shed to use the radio they can reach someone who can either go to aid the guest in trouble or even contact the emergency personnel depending on the nature of the emergency. I love the way that Gres is setting everything up from the house in the cavern for himself and the rest of the employees.

I can't believe Zack is afraid to tell his mom about the abuse he's suffered from by his father, he thinks it wouldn't do any good to tell her because she might get hurt herself or even not be able to do anything about it. I hate to read about the fact that his dad has him on a strict schedule to be home from school and even though he's on time something sets his dad off and then Zack gets hurt. This might've been the first time that he had to actually have to go to the hospital for his injuries, I have a feeling that it might not be the last time either. Zack has been abused for so long that he feels like he's nothing more than a screw up and that he can't do anything right or even feel like a normal person who has feelings for another person male or female. I hope that somehow Zack gets the courage to tell someone the truth about what his dad does to him almost on a daily basis. If he would tell his mom the truth about what his dad does to him and also that his dad's cheating on her I really think it'll be better for him and his mom to get away from his abusive father. I hope that Zack gets the courage to tell Brody that he has feelings for him and that he was scared to get to close to him because he would only screw things up and wind up hurting him in the process. This story is like a lot of kids lives because they suffer from a lot of abuse from their parents or who ever they live with, thanks for writing this story.

This was most definitely a very interesting chapter, I think it's great that Adam is thinking about Artie in the way that he is. Adam was right in telling Bradley that he wasn't being held back in the way that Bradley was eluding to. I think Adam and Artie both have gained from having Artie come to live with him as Sarah wanted. I like the comment that was made about the way that Ky and Dizzy know him so well after 2 weeks, I can only imagine what it'll be like after a year or more. Artie and Dizzy were alone in the house until they heard voices coming from down stairs and they heard the whole conversation between Adam and Bradley where Bradley started questioning Adam about the boots and backpack that were by the door. When Adam told Bradley about bringing Artie home with him Bradley told him that he was to young to be a father at 31 years old. Bradley got what he didn't expect when Adam told him to leave after all that he said about what Artie was doing to Adam that he would hold him back, Adam told Bradley that Artie could stay with him until he was 30 if he wanted, Bradley said to send Artie back to Texas and Adam told Bradley to leave and that since he'd been back from his sister's funeral he hadn't come to comfort him or even see if he was doing okay. Bradley told Adam that if he made him leave then they would be over, I think Bradley figured that Adam would just cave and let Bradley stay, he figured wrong and that Adam chose Artie over him. When Artie went downstairs to see if he could comfort Adam and then tells him that he was sorry that he had caused him a boyfriend and Adam said that he shouldn't think like that and that he hadn't cost him anything in fact Artie had helped him grow more in the last 2 weeks than he had in quite a while. I love the way that Artie didn't want to leave Adam alone right then and even though Dizzy was upstairs Artie still wanted to be with Adam even if he didn't know what to say, Adam appreciated the gesture. I hope that this doesn't put a strain on the relationship between Adam and Artie they both can gain from this night. Adam asked Artie if he had a good time with his friends at the club and Artie said he had and that he had Adam's change upstairs, Adam told him to keep it and that he could use it to take Dizzy to dinner. I hope that Dizzy understands what Artie is trying to do by staying with Adam right then. It appears that there's a lot more mutual love and respect for each other and I think it's going to help Artie with his relationship with Dizzy. I think Artie's going to miss school that day as he wouldn't be getting enough sleep to be awake for school.

As Chris said this was another great chapter. I love how Gres and the others are setting up the island for bed and breakfast style accommodations for the guests. I think it's great that the main house is in the cavern and it's separate from the guest tents. The uniforms, the hovercraft and the radios are all great additions to the quad bikes and trailers that have been used in the demolition of the previous buildings and tanks that were on the island already when Gres purchased the island. With the staff consisting of Gres, Tom, Bryce, Ethan, Jacob, Lloyd and Amos I believe they're going to be busy with guests who are willing to pay for the privilege of staying on the island for a few days as well as having breakfast provided by the Louth Island Retreat and the option to have a BBQ meal prepared by a chef as well. I can't wait to see what happens next.

I love the way Adam told the boys that they were supposed to leave room for Jesus and they said he never showed up. I'm glad that Artie finally told Lindsay that he was gay and Dizzy was his boyfriend. I think it's great that that Artie told Sadie that if she couldn't accept Adam then she shouldn't call or write him until she could accept Adam the way he is and that he's more like Adam than she thinks. I hope that Artie enjoys the way that his friends are doing all they can to make him not so home sick. I think it's great that they took Artie to a club on teen night which happens to be country night as well, Charlotte keeps Artie dancing until a slow song starts and then he grabs Dizzy to dance with him. The next song starts and Artie says that this is his song, it's a Luke Bryan song that he and his mom used to listen to all the time, just then Ky and Charlotte join him and Dizzy and they dance as a group. I think that was probably the highlight of the evening. I love the way the story is going and that Adam is doing a great job of raising Artie even though he's scared of doing something wrong.

I think it's great that Ember is surrounded by the high school bully who's son happens to be friends with Ember's nephew. It was nice of Justin to get Novy's bike ready for the race in which was won by AJ and Novy in second place. I hope that everyone will put their high school problems behind them and start over so they can become friends and Brady will be able to work in the shop learning about automotive electronics and how to repair it.

I agree with the other comments and that this is a very emotional chapter. I'm really starting to love Adam for being man enough to take Artie and then move him to San Francisco where he's away from the bible thumping of Adam's parents and the rest of the town of backward thinking people. Adam and Artie had a real bonding experience where they told each other that they're both gay and that Artie is dating Dizzy. I'll bet Artie felt like the weight of the world had been lifted off his shoulders when he heard Adam tell him that he was gay after Artie told him that he was gay as well. That was a good bonding time as well, because Artie thought he was going to hell for having the feelings he had for Dizzy, Adam told him that hedidn't care what he was told or taught about it being a sin to have feelings for another male. I'm glad that Artie finally told Dizzy the real reason he was in California and not in Texas, he finally told Dizzy that his mom had died 2 weeks ago after a traffic accident and it was her wishes for Artie to go live with Adam. Dizzy told Artie that it didn't bother him that he hadn't told him before and asked if he had told anyone else and Artie said Charlotte knows but that was it. I hope that Ky will come around and be a friend to Artie and Dizzy again soon so that they could do things together like surfing even though Dizzy isn't all that good at it he could do other things while Ky and Artie surf. It will be great for Artie to go work some weekends at the shop that Adam and Lindsay own I think it'll give him some good experience with working plus he'll have his own money to spend. I love how after having lunch at the 1st bar to be a gay bar without having the windows covered they stopped so Adam could buy a rainbow flag showing that they were proud to be gay. I hope that the next chapter comes out soon. Thanks for writing such a great story with every chapter having some fun as well as emotional.

I'm glad that Lorant, Lydia and Unn are planning a rescue mission to save Nessa and Kris. I hope that it works out for the best for all involved. I don't understand why Kris's family has kidnapped Nessa and Kris, what is it that they're trying to get from them. I think I might've missed a chapter before because I wasn't aware that Nessa was able to send a message via magic to the diary, so that they were able to get an idea of where they are being held against their will by Kris's family. I hope that Nessa and Kris are found safe and unharmed, I also hope that when the rescue happens that the police will be able to go in and arrest Kris's family for kidnapping Nessa and Kris. Great chapter, I look forward to reading more about the rescue.
