My apologies...it seems I didn't tell you yesterday that it was National Garlic Day. Better late than never, and you can still mark your calendars for next year! So, Happy Tuesday. We're just waiting to see if the weather is gonna get worse. Still have an advisory for wind/rain. It's getting gusty. Anyway...have a good Tuesday wherever you are.

oh boy, there was a lot of meat on that leg of lamb... there's enough for 2 curries for the 3 of us. Yay. The leftovers from yesterday will be used as sides when i cook up some chicken legs. Squeeze those pennies folks! lol

okay.. time to get some curry cooking for tomorrow's dinner...

Good. We should follow what our bodies and appetite tell us. i mean there's days when i'm hungry and days i'm not. i eat accordingly ... for the longest time, Michael had a hard time dealing with that. He always ate 3 meals a day, like clockwork. Sometimes, I don't want breakfast; sometimes, I can't wait to get it. i'm still here and the last time i checked i'm not dead. lol

Yessssssss ... oh you're so thin... oh do you eat? i can see your ribs (another reason to not take off ur shirt) .. if i had the choice. i would not go out in shorts or short sleeve shirts.. however, that is not a choice i get to make... it is cooler however. Others.. you're so lucky you can eat whatever you want, or i wish i could eat that donut, or if you eat that you'll get fat. No, i won't get fat, but that doesn't mean my insides won't suffer from eating crap. I ate bad food for a long time and it has affected me in a bad way. i talk a lot about eating sweets. i love them, i could eat them all day but i don't because no matter your weight, all that sugar is not good for you. we are more than our body weight and i wish all these judgemental people would just shut up about it.. i don't mean us in here having a discussion but those who are nasty and hateful. I've seen people look at a bigger person's cart in the grocery store and actually say something to them about what they are buying. Assume much? Honestly, the best advice ever.. Keep your eyes on your own plate!

i feel that too. She pretty well said it, telling not to be afraid of who i am. i think i'm still sort of angry of having to go on without her. i remember hating people who were lucky enough to have their mom for a long time. i don't feel that anymore. i'm grateful for the time i did have her.

Glad you were able to get a towel! You must feel better. Yeah, see if you can find a new doctor. And i hope your landlord is on the ball today and gets stuff fixed for you.

Trust me, the family you choose is often the best choice. But it's good you got to reconcile with your dad. My only family is Michael's, they accepted me as own of their own. And now Dan is part of that too. As to my own 'real' family ...well, none of them wanted me around except my mother, who passed away when i was fifteen.

Both of them should bother you. i'd tell them to mind their own business /plate. Why is it that people we may consider overweight are fair game for people's vitriol? Their comments are unwanted and unwelcome.

i'm too thin.. however if i keep eating like i did tonight, that'll change lol But it's rare for me to eat so much. Michael and Dan often try to feed me more. If they give me a donut i'll eat that anytime. lol

i am still full ... no seconds for me.. i did have apple crisp with vanilla bean hagen daz ice cream (just a scoop) but then i decided it was really necessary to eat my smallish Lindt Choc Bunny.. Frankly, i should have just left him to look at , cuz he was cute. The chocolate wasn't that great. i rather have the mini cadbury eggs. Well, live and learn. I wont get another one. Hope everyone had a good weekend.. i know @kbois didn't have the best of weekends but i hope future ones are better. ❤️

Okay, leg of lamb in, apple crisp done, rutabega cooked... just need to do potatoes, brussels and carrots a little later.. also walk with Husband, done. Making our daily decaf coffee and snack now. Then i will work on my sweater a little more.. maybe get the front panel done this week. Then i will block the front and back and start on the sleeves.

Sorry about to hear about the bathroom issues. However, while not for you, this is a good reminder to anyone renting a new place.. run the water, flush the toilet and turn on the shower. All that stuff should work before you move in. Honestly, the landlord should have taken care of all of this stuff. Also, check any appliances that come with your new home... they should all be in working order. I hope your landlord gets this stuff fixed for you quickly.

Morning, all ... Hoppy Easter. I've come to equate Holidays with lots of work. While i love baking, big meals with lots to do is not something i love quite so much. However, there is a Lindt chocolate rabbit around here with my name on it, so there's that! LOL. Have a lovely day, everyone. I'm going to try to squeeze an hour of writing now.

Basil likes lots of water and lots of food. Maybe you could try a different variety.
