  1. A little late, but happy birthday anyway!
  2. I thought Cardinal Wolsey's final scene at the end of the first season was masterfully done. I felt for the man, sympathised with him, even feared for him. And then the geniuses in charge of this series ruined that masterful scene with a random stupidly pointless romp in the park between king and harlot. I thought season 2 was interesting, but Anne's end wasn't nearly so masterfully done as Wolsey's. She seemed.... pathetic, but not sympathetic like Wolsey was to me. Also, if this series has any point at all, it must be that it is a very bad idea to be anywhere near the king. If you're a woman, he'll probably try to screw you, which probably wouldn't be so bad if the man wasn't in all likelihood a walking pile of STD. On the other hand, if you're a man working for him, he'll eventually bore of your advice and have you killed. For no good reason because he's kind of... how shall we put this... dumb. The man is without a doubt a prime example of why inherited thrones are a terrible idea. The guy who had to fight for the throne knew its worth and had some kind of vision for the country. The child born to luxury on the other hand is often clueless... which isn't so bad when they become king, unless they actually try to rule.

You know that feeling you get when you're sleeping alone... and no matter how hard you try, you can't trick your arms into believing the pillow in your arms is who you dream it to be? Thats the feeling I've got tonight. Well... thats all i had to say.

This is because the words with and not are severely overvalued in the female category. Those two words alone were responsible for 5622 out of the 8262 female points. If you discount this outlier, the overall points shift back toward male, but it is still very close. Taking ten samples of my writing I got five rated male and five rated female. The point margin is ridiculously close even discounting that outlier. This leads me to the conclusion that this gender genie's lamp was purchased in a knock off shop. Additional Note: It amused me greatly to see Nathan and David consistently rated as written by a male author despite the fact that some would consider it to be gay erotica written for women.
  5. Hello and welcome! Its good to see some new teen members here, I was afraid we were going to run out with all the "old" ones having grown up Anyway, enjoy your time here and have fun

Ever get the feeling the world or the universe as it were is running against you? A year ago, I saw myself today being about to start my third semester of graduate school. Where am I instead? I'm in the smallest room of my parents' house. I have a crappy job that doesn't pay well enough for the bank to approve the loan I need to get a non-crappy car. This means I do not have the option to move out of my parents house. Why is that? Surely I could just get a crappy car without the loan right? Yeah, I could do that. But then I wouldn't have the money to move anyway. Not exactly a great trade off. My education? Seems to be on permanent hold. Never finished undergrad, that one stinking class I need is full and I may well end up not being able to take it this semester either. Course Correction time? I'm looking for a second job, hopefully that will result in enough proof of income to satisfy the bank. Of course, after I get the loan I'll almost certainly ditch that job immediately. Or keep it. Who knows? Maybe I'll actually like working 65 hours a week. I spent my childhood and teen years thinking/acting like I was an adult, I may as well spend my young adult years working like a dog at a rate to look like I'm 50 by the time I'm 30. Time well spent, right? Oh wait. That's right. No one to spend it with anyway. Options? All potentials live hundreds of miles away and/or are already smoking themselves to death. Maybe I'm just greedy but I'd like to have that extra couple decades with my partner. Wait a minute, thats right I'm planning to work myself into an early grave anyway, so no biggie if my non-existant partner keels over a decade or two early. I'll be right there next to him ready to rest in pieces. Like our non-existent relationship because I'll have worked away all the hours I could have been spending with him. Alternatives? Try to grab ahold of one of those potentials and push real fricken hard to make a relationship work. In fact I'd been thinking about doing just that. Allowing certain emotional attatchments to form up.... Then comes along a mind bogglingly big issue which in spite of all else would be a deal breaker. Choices? Uncertain. . . . Happiness? Species rare. Origins unknown. Prior theories concerning its acquisition and sustainability proven unsound. Recourse? The stoic: acceptable short term alternative to happiness - becomes unstable when utilitized for long periods of time. Long term solutions? Data not available at this time.

  8. My attitudes regarding sex remain the same. Sex between two people who have made a committment to each other and are going to remain monogomous is just as safe with or without the condom provided both partners are tested. If you are not in a mutually committed relationship, then condom usage is a must.
  9. My avatar is an Eagle. Because I think Eagles are awesome. Were I an animal, thats what I would want to be, soaring high in the clouds.... ultimate freedom
  10. I met a man in GA chat who I fell deeply in love with over the course of several weeks when our light flirtations turned to deeper conversations and various emotional break throughs. The trouble was that we were separated by some 1,100 miles and I was going to university while he had certain legal committments that prevented him from moving. A long distance relationship can only be kept together by airlines for so long, though, and eventually we ended up breaking up. I still care about him though, and if our circumstances changed, we'd probably be willing to get back together.
  11. When I had only been driving for about a week, maybe two, I hit a bum. Imagine the scraggliest, dirtiest lookin dude you you can, riding on a bicycle out in front of your car... then over the top of it. Now, if I'd been a bit more experienced, I would have known to slam on my breaks and swerve like mad... then maybe he would have hit me instead and saved my insurance company the $50,000 they paid him. How is it some bum in his mid forties early fifties never heard the saying "look both ways before you cross the street"
  12. Amusingly enough, the fact that Barack Obama's father was a Muslim and Barack Obama himself is not technically makes him an apostate from Islam, in which case some of those countries he thinks talking to is the way to solve all problems may not even recognize him at all.
  13. I said yes for a very clear bit of reasoning that I will lay out shortly: 1) There are very manipulative people out there. They are responsible for the actions they manipulate others into doing. Of course if you want to get really technical they're responsible for their own action: specifically, manipulating someone else into doing something, and as we tend to view such manipulation as tantamount to committing the action oneself... Bleargh. Why am I awake at this hour?
  14. Okay, I admit, its been ages sinces I've posted a new chapter of... anything >__< However, I do have a new chapter of Nathan and David on the way, it just needs a bit of editing to polish it offf... the problem is... If you've talked with me before, you've always heard it referred to as the final part of Nathan and David. This is no longer the case as I now have some insidious, explosive, boiling hot plans for our boys and their honeymoon. In any case, be on the lookout for some action from these two soon.
  15. Intelligence is a necessary feature to my perfect man. What's attractive to me physically varies greatly so I'll simply say that he must be mildly attractive physically, though I'd prefer not supermodel level hotness. A little shyness is great. He must be affectionate and receptive to affection. Must be a good kisser, or at the very least, open to learning. He does not snore, but he can handle the fact that I move around a bit in my sleep. Sexually speaking, he must be versatile in the sense that he can and wants to both "top" and "bottom." He can be feisty at times, is often playful in the bedroom, and he's got to have a measure of compassion to him. The ability to form a logical line of argument is also much appreciated.

  17. Well, at the time I was at college, with roomates who would probably not have appreciated finding me in that state of undress. For now, I'm back home, where I hardly ever cook at all. I kinda miss that though. At least when I was in charge of my own meals I had a good diet...
  18. My stress relief is to go jogging/running. At my most extreme, I took off for a run in the middle of a lighning storm, I made it a total of 6 miles. By the end of it my mood had improved significantly. As a result, I chose to cook myself a steak dinner in nothing buy my boxers, and boy was it ever delicious
  19. Many years ago I was searching for a hero figure to idealize. For a while odysseus worked for me but then I went through a phase where I love the glory days of France. During that time I paid particular attention to the hundred years war and especially the story of one Jeanne D'Arc aka Joan of Arc. Once upon a time Jeanne aspired to lead the armies of france against the british and crown the dauphin of france as the new king, but was still busy being a peasant girl. Then she started inspiring people, but to lead the armies of France, she needed to actually meet the dauphin and gain his approval. The trouble was she was stuck in her little peasant community. The solution was a dangerous trek from her little town to Le Chateau du Dauphin, which required the help of various guards and protectors to ensure her safe(ish) journey. Among them was one knight Le Sieur Jean de Metz, who, while reportedly having found jeanne attractive, also found her to be a remarkable and pure figure and swore himself her protector for the course of the journey. It is from this noble knight that I derived the name Demetz For those of you wondering how the story continued... she arrived safely at the dauphin's house, he liked her, she took control of the army of france, she kicked ass for a while till she was betrayed and captured, and the english burned her at the stake as a witch because they believed there was no other way a girl could have done such a good job kicking their asses.
  20. I'll go ahead and throw my bit of advice in... When they tell you they're not hiring, come back in a few days and ask again. Repeat, over and over again. When employers think you really want/need the job they're more likely to give you a shot. Also, really target jobs working as a waitor in a restaurant, particularly near the highway/interstate if possible. I have a job working at a Bob Evans restaurant and every night I go home with money in my pocket. Tips usually run between 30 and 50 per night for me. Its not glamorous work, but its not aweful either. If you're sharing an apartment, setting the thermostat up a couple degrees may help lower your electric. You need to eat, so if you've got a gas stove there's not a whole lot you can do, but if your hot water heater runs on gas you might be able to cut that bill down a bit by taking quicker showers. Grocery-wise... Wal-mart is your friend.
  21. Okay, so apparently this has caused quite a stir in France. There's the secular old guard which insists that these should not be necessary or allowed at all because they already had their sexual revolution and this is a step backward.... But here's where I'm torn on this. I agree that it shouldn't be necessary or required at all, but in a sense, this is going to actually help liberalize muslims. Once it becomes a widespread practice there will no longer be any way to know whether the woman is actually a virgin and there will no longer be the ability to place such emphasis on this. To that end, I'm actually in support of the surgeries as a way to combat the religious insanities brought forth by assbackward "culture"
  22. Ideally a female friend would be willing to bear my child in exchange for me covering the medical costs. Realistically, when I can afford it, I'm probably going to pay some indian lady (as in a woman from India) to bare a child for me.

    Remix

So yesterday I get a call from Jeremy, apologizing again and wanting to hang out because he's bored and doesn't really have much to do. What a coincidence, I'm generally bored with nothing to do too. So, I agree to hang out and when he gives me a call after work I suggest we play a game of Axis and Allies - an exceedingly complex board game that can go on for hours and hours. I also suggest he ask Aaron to come over and play as well... It seems that between talking to Jeremy that afternoon and getting off from work, Aaron found out from somebody else that Jeremy was going to be hanging out with me and left an "I hope he makes you happy" note for Jeremy. This is an excellent face-palm moment. I have no intentions on Jeremy. Jeremy has not appeared to have any intentions on me. Last night was not about some kind of revenge-**** - it was about getting some social time and having some perfectly platonic fun. So at this point I insist he offer Aaron to come as well in an effort to avoid the pointless drama that comes from suspiciousness. Jeremy gave me a call before he headed over -he said Aaron was too tired to come so he'd be over on his own. I'm cool with that - if Aaron doesn't want to come Aaron doesn't have to. Jeremy and I have a pleasant night playing the game. A statistical miracle of the dice result in dooming the game to go on for many many rounds when Germany (me) failed to wipe out Russia for a quick win. We play a total of two rounds (this is a very, very long game) and we talk a bit. He seems to be ready to dump Aaron and move on with his life, but I can see and understand that he really loved Aaron and the whole thing has hurt him greatly. I tell him as far as I'm can tell - Aaron doesn't have a clue what he wants and until Aaron can figure that out and stick to it there's nothing Jeremy or I or any one else is going to be able to do for him. Frankly given the way Aaron has handled things I don't think I'd ever consider a relationship with him again. I might consider a friendship, but I don't think he and I really have all that much in common. Jeremy and I at least have this much in common: we like strategy based board games. We got through two rounds last night and who knows how many we'll get through the next time he comes over.
